A family member asked what they could get me and I said I'd love a massage. It was my part to do the research and find where I wanted to go. I've done the ultra luxe massages at the Four Seasons and I've also done Massage Envy. It's really the masseuse that makes the difference. I looked for best local massages near me and found Serendipity. Reading through the profiles of the massage therapists I was intrigued by Tonya, mainly for what I interrupted as would be a hard massage experience. My muscles definitely needed a hard touch, not just a relaxing massage. I appreciated the extra attention to the sore spots I noted. The process upon arrival was unclear. It was about 10 minutes after my scheduled appointment time that I made contact with an employee and was immediately helped. I'd return again in the future and recommend Tonya to anyone not afraid of a more pronounced touch to the massage.

The atmosphere immediately put me at ease. Since it was my first visit, I received a discounted introductory rate, which was a wonderful bonus. Before the massage, I filled out a form detailing my preferred pressure level, focus areas, and any areas that needed extra care. I chose the firmest pressure available and requested extra attention on my back and shoulders since I carry a lot of tension there. The massage was exactly what I needed. The work done on my back and shoulders helped release so many knots and areas of built-up stress. I received a full-body massage, and I genuinely felt relief almost immediately. Even a week later, I still feel more relaxed and less tense than before my appointment. At the end of my visit, I was also given a loyalty stamp card, which was a lovely surprise. After five visits, you receive a free massage and a pedicure downstairs, which makes me even more excited to return. The staff, the service, and the overall experience exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend Stone + Sage Spa and will absolutely be coming back again!

Do not go here. I…read morerarely leave one-star reviews, but the way my mother and I were treated here today was genuinely appalling. This was our first visit. My mother is disabled, walks with a stick, and moves very slowly. We had difficulty finding parking and arrived approximately 15 minutes late. I completely accept that we were late and would have understood if that meant shortening, changing, or even rescheduling our appointments. That was never the issue. The issue was the extraordinary level of hostility and rudeness we were met with from the moment we walked through the door. The woman at the front desk was immediately abrupt, unfriendly and confrontational in her tone. There was no welcome, no attempt to explain anything calmly. She stood over me and sharply demanded, "What treatments do you want?" Her whole manner was so hostile that I was taken aback almost immediately. I explained that when I had called beforehand, I had spoken to a lovely woman who told me specifically not to worry about choosing everything in advance. I had explained that I was visiting from out of the country, wanted to spend quite a bit of time at the spa, and was hoping to book several treatments and have a relaxing day. I was told they would be quiet, that time would be allocated for me, and that I could look through the options and decide what I wanted when I arrived. When I asked to see the menu, the woman at the desk told me I could only choose between the first two treatments, which were around 30 and 45 minutes. I was confused because this was completely different from what I had been told on the phone, so I simply asked why I could only choose those two. She gave me no real explanation other than saying it was because we were late. At that point, I assumed perhaps there simply was not enough time for any of the longer treatments. So I asked, "Is there someone coming in after us?" She said no. That confused me even more. If nobody was booked after us, I genuinely could not understand why I was being told I could only choose from two shorter treatments. So I calmly asked why I could not choose one of the longer, more expensive treatments further down the menu if there was actually time available. Instead of explaining, she simply glared at me. Then she threw her hands up in the air and, in an extremely rude and dismissive tone, said, "Oh, just pick whatever you want," before turning around and stomping off. It was incredibly abrupt, condescending and hostile. I was not arguing with her. I was asking a perfectly reasonable question because what I had been told on the phone and what I was now being told in person made absolutely no sense. What made the experience even worse was the way she treated my mother. At one point my mother politely said, "Excuse me, can I ask a question?" The woman looked directly at her and simply walked away without allowing her to speak or answering her. I had bitten my tongue throughout the entire interaction because I genuinely thought perhaps this was simply her manner. But by that point I was becoming increasingly uncomfortable and anxious. This was supposed to be a relaxing spa day with my mother, and instead we were being spoken to as though we were an inconvenience. I eventually stood up, apologized again for being late, and explained that my mother has a disability and that it had taken us a little longer than expected to get there. I also made it clear that if someone had simply said, politely, "Unfortunately, because you're late we can only accommodate these treatments today," I would have completely understood. I am very flexible. I would even have happily come back the following day. But there was absolutely no need for the hostility, the glaring, the dismissive tone, the throwing up of hands, or walking away while my mother was trying to speak. The whole thing was especially disappointing because the woman I had spoken to on the phone had been so lovely and accommodating. I had deliberately not booked individual treatments in advance because I had specifically been told not to. I arrived expecting to have a consultation, choose several treatments and spend a significant amount of money there. Instead, we walked out without having a single treatment. The entire situation could have been avoided with basic courtesy and clear communication. Being 15 minutes late does not give someone permission to speak to customers in such a hostile and demeaning manner, particularly when one of those customers is visibly disabled and walking with a stick. There are far too many good salons and spas available to tolerate being treated like this. Based on my experience today, I would absolutely not recommend this one.

We actually go to get massages pretty often and unfortunately this was by far the worst we have ever gotten. It just was not good, it felt like my kid was playing around on my back ‍ the space was cold, and unwelcoming. Then at the end we were literally pressured to tip. I have never seen anything like it. Soon as we got to the front they had the receipt there waiting with a pen, (we already paid and signed so clearly it was bc they wanted us to write on a top... literally three people were waiting looking at us. It was weird. So bc we were unsatisfied we decided to tip 10%, in which the man proceeded the yell "EXCUSE ME" we were so taken aback ... I decided to go to my cash app to see what was in it... it was a bit more "petty cash" so I used my cash app to give a forced additional tip (something they didn't tell us about it the beginning after saying our only option of paying was cash or card and we were charged $5 to use our card).
