I had found him through Groupon, but I will definitely be visiting him again for other massages. I was able to schedule and book online and then fill out the necessary forms in advance. He was familiar with my medical conditions and medications and took note of those before starting the massage. He was gentle, yet firm, and continued to check with me to make sure the pressure was good and not too much. The office setting is beautiful. You really feel like you are in the woods somewhere away from traffic and any city. Yet his office is close enough to major highways and parkway's to get you both to his office and to your home. I highly recommend a visit with Zach for a massage if you are in pain or just need a relaxing massage.

He had sent me a text asking if I could come in later because he needed sufficient time to clean - which I was very glad to work around that and am thankful he's taking his/and our health seriously. He gave a tour of his office upon arrival and shows me the air filtration system and multiple fans he had going on in his office. Again, I was impressed with the cleanliness of his office. The massage itself was wonderful, I went in for a pain area in my shoulder, and can finally move my arms again after several weeks of chiropractor visits. Zach worked on my pain areas, and educated me on other muscle groups that contributed to my pain area. This helps me recover and re-focus on what I need to do at home to fully recover. I plan on visiting Zach's practice in the future for my other athletic needs. Glad to have found such a gem on Groupon!

Anna happened to be sitting outside waiting for the next available client. I happened to get to close and her eyes focused on me. Wanting another massage and her wanting another client, everything worked out beautifully. The curtain area I was lead to had solid curtains that were NOT SEE-THRU. The curtains came nearly to the floor. Music did play when I arrived, but after some time, the music stopped and I wasn't disappointed. There are so.e massage places that might play the same song(s) or album over and over again. J Foot Spa perfer you leave your underwear on. This is what I was informed for my first time here by Anna. Okay, no big deal. The Massage: The massage I chose was for 90 minutes. Since my body had already been massaged for 45 minutes earlier, I did not need Anna using to much of her forearms or elbows. My body had enough of the repeative practice of elbows and forearms going over the same spots. Anna like Fiona from Relax Work, I had to instruct her to move on from one spot or the whole session time would have been in that one spot I feel. Anna broke this worry by moving on to different body parts on her own. I am grateful for this. A lotion ointment that gave off a flowery smell was one option. I don't think most men would want to leave the shop smelling like it. Massage oil is another option. The massage table had the biggest colorful towel I have ever seen in a massage place. I am happy to have had the towel on me, because a cold wind did seem to blow on me from time to time. The massage room I had was surrounded by privacy screens. My right hand side had some kind of red fabric covering the tiny gaps in the cracks of the privacy screens. On my left hand side, the privacy screens had no red fabric covering the gaps. If I could see outwards, some one could see inwards. Anna's station area was at the end of the curtain area. Since the three other male masseurs were massaging other clients, I did not see them moving around much. Kelly was the first one ever to have me walk out of her office PAIN FREE. I did a 1hr massage + Cupping for a great price after one of my severe back pain episodes and she was able to take it all away. Generally these days I count myself as both fortunate and unfortunate that I lack the energy or need to argue; but likewise, I am not so quick to offer a swift and harsh response against the most mild of slights. And likewise, I am fortunate enough to find many to most businesses are reasonable; either in avoiding bullshizzle, or in rectifying bullshizzle. With that said, this spa is no different than any other in terms of quality of product. My primary reason for coming here in the past was due to location only. However I have noticed with each and every time that the service has steadily become worse and worse. This review is not a knee jerk reaction to one experience, rather it is the culmination of four or five occurrences. So I beg your understanding as well as your attention when I proffer the advice to never patronize this establishment. To subsidize prices that are increasingly going up and that are murky, think of gym memberships that have hidden or alternative fees, this business offers a club/subscription model. When you think about how much you would have to patronize this business to actually save anything, not only would you actually be spending more but you might feel compelled to go in extra just to "make up" money that you are ultimately going into the red for. But ultimately that is a buyer beware problem. The crux of my umbrage today is due to the fact that I, having been solicited at great length to opt into the membership, decided to comply. I was assured that the fee would pay itself as I would receive a complimentary massage on my birthday. As my birthday is in January, I purchased the package in April of 2022; and sought to redeem the gift just now, in January of 2023. In having booked the appointment over the phone, I informed the operator that I had intended to make use of my gift massage. She confirmed and noted such transaction. Shortly thereafter, she proceeds to text me and tells me that I have surrendered my gift because my membership had elapsed more than one year, resulting in me having forfeited a gift I never used. This person then tried to solicit/extort additional money by asking me if I still wished to have a massage under regular/member pricing. I told her that my membership could not possibly have elapsed because I purchased the subscription after my birthday of the previous year, and given that my birthday had not yet occurred at the time of booking the appointment (or even at the time of writing this), I was still privy to further member benefits. After a substantial delay, the operator got back to me and acknowledged that "she made a mistake". Cue monumental eye roll. Huge strike, but hey, I can laugh off a good attempt at a shakedown hustle; however BS it is; as many people indeed do not watch and monitor their subscriptions. Onus on the customer eh. So they call me back and then proceed to text me a few times here and there, doing this whole song-and-dance of confirming and being fake apologetic, smoothing me over. I insist it's all good; just looking forward to my birthday/gift. Nothing to the contrary is uttered for over a week. Fast forward to the day of my massage, they tell me that they are actually not an operation and that I need to reschedule. I tell them no big deal, just set me for the same time a week later. I was taken to a bigger room this time because I requested a traditional Thai massage. Deep tissue with oil last time did not really work out for me. We discussed last visit's complaints and how she was going to perform her massage this time. I appreciated she took my feedback positively. I changed into loose shirt and pants. Sheets had which looked like a makeup stain but it was not anywhere near my head so I tried not to be Karen about it. Kanta has really strong hands that were perfect for my stiff neck and the pain I'm having associated with it. She asked if I'm ok with her walking on my back so I can have an even stronger pressure than her hands alone. It may seem rude in some cultures to step on someone , but I am willing to do anything to get some relief. After 90m of stretching and kneading, my body felt incredibly lighter than when I walked in to the appt. She declined my payment at check out which is a reallly nice gesture. However I know she worked hard with strong consistent pressure throughout 90m, and I left a 50% cash tip. My problem areas are neck and shoulders due to poor posture and long hours in front of computer. I have seen it all - the good the bad and the ugly when it comes to massages since my parents themselves are massage enthusiasts. I had my first massage at the age of 15 so I do know what I'm talking about. In desperate need of neck pain relief, I booked a 60m head massage at hands of healing Thai spa after googling "best Thai massages around me". I have a couple regular Thai massage places I frequent to, but I wanted to experience a new spa. The word "healing hands" and "Thai spa" stood out to me and felt I found my savior. After a long day, I couldn't wait to receive my soothing neck massage that evening. Herndon is 30m away from where I live. I thought to myself "no problem, I will do whatever to take this pain away". 15m prior to my appt time, I received a text reminder that my massage starts soon, price of service and directions to the spa. Texts were short and unfriendly, but I thought it may be language barrier. I politely replied I'm on my way and if I should get head massage or Thai massage for my stiff neck. She recommended deep tissue so I changed my appt to 90m deep tissue. Interior was average but seemed clean. I was led to a room after filling the form. I arrived on time but by the time I finished filling form, undressing and lied down on massage table, it was 7m past my appt time. The first few strokes were heaven. I felt she knows what she was doing. It hit all the sore spots. Everything went downhill a few moments later. She sneezed a couple times. No problem, everyone sneezes and they are uncontrollable. I had my face down on massage table so couldn't see what was happening but I can sense she was picking her nose or teeth (I could be wrong). I shook it off and tried to enjoy the massage. A few moments later, she walked away from the table and blew her nose. I was shocked and started questioning hygiene at this place. Therapists normally walk out of the room if they need to take care of such business. As massage goes on, I realized her massage techniques are below par. She kept using the same stroke without adapting to different body parts. My last straw was when she used a hot towel to wipe my legs and feet and decided to keep the same towel for my upper body. She left the room right at the clock although it started 7m late and the used towel was thrown on the floor. For me it's both the massage itself and the little things that make up the whole experience. Due to the lack of hygiene and average massage techniques, I won't be returning. At the end of the massage I didn't have much relief although I appreciated her extra efforts when I told her I didn't feel relief as expected. They have good cash discounts however so if you like to frequent this place, take cash with you.
