My websites's organic traffic is significantly higher than before I was with them. They cleaned up my website, helped organize and setup my Social Media pages, and most of my target keywords are now on the first two pages. They gave me exactly what I wanted and exactly what I was promised. The only issue is being patient with keyword rankings but my account manager, Demetrio, reassured me every time I called in. e-marketing concepts is a scam. I needed help with social media for my internet store and signed up for Pinterest help for $299 per month, with the understanding that I could cancel anytime with a 48 hour lead before my renewal date without being charged for the next month. After signing on I learned that I would have a Project Manager, but would not be permitted to talk directly with the person working on my Pinterest page. I also learned that EMC does not use the developer tools available in Pinterest, so I wouldn't be getting or learning about the Rich Pins, Article Pins or any other advanced "Pinterest for Business" enhancements. So what am I paying for? I now realize I'm paying $299 a month for someone who doesn't know me or my product to pin photos to a board, with no personalization at all. 7/28/16 The first Project Manager assigned to me was Adri Garcia. Our initial "Kick-Off" phone conversation was a total disaster. She talked non-stop, barely taking a breath and never stopping to address my questions or concerns. Just a bunch of double-talk about how great EMC is. Before we hung up I told her I would not be able to work with her and needed another PM. 8/8/16 2 Boards with Pins have been posted. 8/12/16 Received an email from my new PM scheduling a phone call for 8/16/16 8/16/16 I talked to Demetrio Gomez, my new PM, who was very apologetic and seemed concerned. I expressed my concern that so much time had passed with so little work being done and asked if they always wait until the end of the month to do the work. This practice would leave the client with no results from their efforts (or lack there of) for the month. I got no answer to this question. He did say that several things needed to be done immediately. 8/18/16 Still just 2 boards, no additional work done. 8/17/, 8/19, and 8/22 I sent emails to Demetrio asking various questions. Simple questions. I got no reply to any of these emails. The EMC website states - Our starter package includes 450+ Pins, 150+ RePins, 150+ Likes and 150+ followers every month, plus daily posting and daily outreach. Demetrio told me - 100 pins per month, daily engagement, conquesting, 3-6 boards in first month, one new board after that per month, and analytics data. 8/22/16 I sent the required written notice (email) to cancel my project. 8/24/16 Receipt of my cancellation was confirmed. I was solicited by an eMarketing Concepts telemarketer during October 2015. I had 0 interest in his company's services. He transferred me to a senior sales exec who gave me a special trial offer of service for 2 months at the price of 1 month. Against my better judgment, I signed up for a Pinterest campaign for an established business and a Facebook campaign for a separate new business. The senior sales exec assured me that the advertising would generate new leads for both businesses, the campaign managers would change the ads to get results, and I can end service on a monthly basis. The manager for the Pinterest campaign was a veteran worker who created Pinterest boards with no problem, but since there were no sales I suspended the campaign when the 2 month trial ended. I was initially paired with two managers for the Facebook campaign who were both new to the company. They both took vacations within a week of being assigned to my account, didn't listen to my input, didn't provide me with a mock ad to approve, and ran low quality ads without my approval. Before my 2 month trial ended, I was paired with a third manager who was one of the most experienced on staff. The third manager did a much better job than the first 2 managers. I wound up keeping the Facebook campaign going for another 3 months, but there were no results even though we tried different pictures, verbiage, new audiences, etc. The effect was the same as rearranging deck chairs on a sinking Titanic. The third Facebook manager also sold me on some minor services to tweak the a business website website like adding home page content (which I edited heavily) and a Word Press blog that I didn't need at all. During the final month, I was billed for an incorrect amount. To avoid refunding me, the third manager tried offering services like overpriced website blog posts and press releases but I declined. After 3 weeks, the third manager couldn't tell me when I would be refunded. I received a refund on the day my credit card company processed a charge back. The senior sales exec was very smooth and reasonable-sounding. I regret listening to her. She said eMarketing is a major online marketer that will do great things for the 2 businesses I wanted to promote. Both the senior sales exec and the third Facebook campaign manager said on the one hand they will generate a lot of online exposure that will lead to sales and on the other hand they can't guarantee results. They can only perform work for their clients. The Pinterest campaign required work, which I didn't have the time to do myself and I was unfamiliar with the Pinterest platform. The Facebook campaign charged me for ads that I could have developed myself without paying eMarketing a monthly fee to work for me. Since I hadn't tried Pinterest and Facebook advertising before, I decided to give eMarketing a try. Unfortunately, all I did was waste my time and money. If businesses have time and in house staff to develop their own online social media marketing campaigns, they're better off doing so rather than paying third parties to put out ads with no results. eMarketing offered me free SEO service for 6 months in an effort to make amends for my dissatisfaction with its social media marketing. After the nature of the temporary and permanent back links were explained to me, though, I decided to pass on the offer. As I understood things, the temporary links with more business data were more effective at promoting a website's online presence while the more permanent links which are picture based weren't as effective at capturing the attention of Google search robots. I've learned a few things about online advertising. Online advertising can only attempt to increase a business' web presence and/or potential consumer awareness. Every form of online advertising I've tried hasn't generated nearly enough leads to pay for the expense much less make a profit. I'll advertise myself from now on. 8-4-16 Reply to Business Comment: e-Marketing did not perform as advertised when I was solicited and sold a bill of goods. I gave your company more than enough time to prove it could deliver. I was not happy when the campaign manager told me that results weren't guaranteed. He could only do work for me. The senior sales exec said that if e-Marketing does work for me, it will bring in more exposure and business. That didn't come close to happening. I paid for advertising (that I didn't seek) that didn't pay for itself. All advertising I've tried has been a waste of money actually, so I'm not listening to any advertising telemarketers anymore. read more

They were not great or not relevant and we went back and forth several times until we got a good list. Next I got a list of Metatags with them without an explanation of what to do or how to incorporate them. There were several missed phone connections until I finally saw that we were getting no where and I was now 2 months into them for fees with nothing tangible to show. DO NOT USE THEM for your SEO needs. High employee turnover means you will have a new account rep every 2 months, who then calls to ask you to describe your business to them. They DO NOT perform services that they contractually commit to. Calls are not returned, emails are not returned, but they do auto debit my business bank account each month to take their money! All calls to them go directly to voicemail, and although their VM message says that will call you back ASAP, I have yet to receive a call back. I suspect that are going out of business and leaving with their clients money. read more

Big mistake! I paid eMarketing Concepts more than 5k upfront for internet services. I am hoping that by warning readers they will not make the same mistake as I did. I have decided to sever my relationship and return to my previous internet company with my tail between my legs. Poor service, poor follow-up, deadlines not met and instructions not followed. I gave them a second opportunity to get their act together but despite their CEO promising to get his best team onto the project, there was no improvement. The CEO did promise a full refund if I was not satisfied - we'll see if he comes through on this. They fooled me. Smooth talkers but poor communication after they receive payment. We initially began working wtih E-marketing Concepts using them to clean up our websites domain names and all of the minutiae that was around our internet presence from years of neglect. Initially they did a good job. But then our salesman began pushing us towards SEO rebuilding our website and a whole lot of products that they offer as part of a package. I agreed because they had performed well initially upon beginning this process. After signing up with these additional services, I did not hear from anybody for the four to five weeks. I was told that they would begin work immediatly on the services that I signed up for. After I was finally able to talk to someone on my account, they admitted to dropping the ball and said they would step up everything to make us happy. But after another three weeks went by and nothing was done like they had promised I called back talk to them. I tried contacting an account rep four or five more times over the next couple of weeks trying to make sure that our online presence was being addressed. I found out the hard way that our services and online presence was NOT being addressed. Over the next several weeks, I was continually promised, lied to, promised again, and lied to again and again. After a total of 16 weeks of nothing being done with my account, and the fact that we had paid them $3,600 up front, I asked to talk to my third salesman's boss Ashley. She immediately called me and promised me that she would take care of everything immediately. This of course never happened and I never heard from Ashley again. As of writing this review, no one will return my phone calls, and if I try to call their office I am sent straight to voicemail. There's no communication from anyone at the company anymore. This is the worst abuse of a situation where somebody has lied to me and then Stole My Money without any cause or any work to show for it. This is the worst company that I've ever dealt with. As a small business owner, and someone who values every dollar we spend on marketing, I urge anyone reading this to avoid Emarketing Concepts. They clearly have a business model of taking small business owners money up front, knowing that in the end they can just ignore their clients. read more
