The staff is super friendly and the store sells ice and other necessities. Every RV spot has a great ocean view and a personal trash bin that campground staff picks up everyday. No fault of the campground obviously but it was abnormally hot when we visited for 3 nights. The horseflies were very intense and were hard to get away from without being in the RV. The area is very tidal and you can walk very far out at low tide. It's a fun campground in a unique setting. Highly recommend but be prepared for all types of weather.

It's on the water and there is a really cool spot by some big boulders. But the bath houses are terrible. There are two bath houses and at Bath house 1 - There were nails through the space where a pad lock goes, the floor feels like it is failing in on the porch surround, the 2 shower rooms are dark and dingy with peeling painted concrete floors. We didn't see the shower room at Bath house 2 because it was always occupied since there is only one shower in this building for a lot of tent sites. There are no mirrors in the bathrooms (there are in the shower rooms) . The property needs some TLC - landscape, mowing and trash pick up. There are cluttered spots of old junk laying around. It would be a great place to start a campground.

The second day, the spring thunder was rolling across the sky, filling all the upper and lower spaces with it's rumblings, then a moment of faded distance, followed by a final wrathful roar coming from behind the clouds. For you see, more and more - rightly or wrongly, I'm developing my desire to be alone with the sights and sounds of nature. From thunder clap to the little water crystals of mornings first dew, it all makes me feel a special way. As if nature is harmonizing within the depths of my souls mood. I'll sit for hours watching nature lay before me in a hush and there is no sense of movements, but I feel the flow of vital natural energy that no humans can disturb. It's here, below the trees sitting upon the grass which seems to offer soft words of comfort and sympathy. And now, in these moments - any human that might pierce suddenly upon my natural mood, seems to effect me greatly. Because one bad thought - problems in NYC, etc - and my souls tranquility is thrown into confusion.

If you want to return the car at the end of the weekend - They're closed - and better yet? They charge you until they open again Monday morning at 8:30am! (read that again!) When I realized this, I asked about returning the car to the airport instead Sunday afternoon, as I was flying out that evening from Portland, but that would be an an additional charge in excess of $100. When Marco called me Monday afternoon to ask me how everything went, I expressed my dissatifaction again with being charged for an additional day even though the car had been returned the 15 hours earlier the previous day. He told me he'd comp my rental by noting the earlier return day, which he implied meant he'd not charge me the time after which the car had been returned. When I got my bill, there was no credit given, even though that was the distinct impression I got from Marco when we spoke. When I called them just now, Shannon not only supported that I was comped the time, but not the charges, that they could have charged me MORE by charging me $30/hour during that Sunday afternoon. YEAH - no thanks, Brunswick Enterprise. I won't be darkening your door any time soon. My business will go else where, where customers are treated with fidelity.
