    Stayed here Thursday-Monday-beds were very comfortable-rooms very clean. We stayed in room 308 and it was quiet enough. Black out curtains worked amazing-that new Mexico sun is SO bright! Breakfast was a highlight every morning-can't beat an omelet bar! Very good! No hot tub-bummer :( but knew that booking it. Would definitely stay here again!

    Unfortunately everything about this hotel is about as bad as you can get. First of all, the hotel scams you and fraudulently charges you more than twice as much as your hotel stay actually costs. I stayed for 3 nights (which should be about $700 total) but the hotel scams you and charges you 2 separate transactions totaling $1600. This is extremely fraudulent as they charge 1000 at check-in and an additional 600 in the middle of the night. The best part is that when I brought it up to the hotel staff, they told me that the manager would give me a call back. Eight hours later, I checked in with the hotel again, and they said that they had not escalated it to the manager. They said to check again the next day with them. Adding onto the previous issue, the hotel will also cancel your reservation so that it does not appear on your Hilton account and they don't have to provide you with any points. Luckily, I noticed that they canceled my stay after I had checked in, and I had to ask them to put it back. The next major issue is that the rooms are not clean. The chairs were dirty with debris and food on them, and the floors were not vacuumed and had hair and random change. Third issue is that the hotel will not provide you a do not disturb tag if you ask for it. They claim that they don't have enough of those tags for all of the rooms. The fourth issues that the hotel does not have any quiet hours. I stayed here at the same time a high school cheer cheerleading camp was going on, and you could hear people screaming in all the rooms around you until 4 AM in the morning. The hotel stated they don't ask people to be quiet, so if you are looking for some sleep, this is definitely not the place. The fifth issue is that they have at least 10 to 15 spots reserved for Hilton diamond members, however, the hotel does not actually enforce that. It has always completely full with people who have no Hilton status. The hotel could very easily enforce this by giving diamond members an extra parking tag to put in their car, and then have security monitor those spots at night and tow any cars that do not have that. The sixth issue is that the bathrooms are outdated and the toilets barely work. The showers have no pressure, and everything just looks old and stained. The last issue is that the fitness center is incredibly small and has no equipment. For a hotel the size, they really should upgrade the space to have more equipment in a larger area. I would definitely not recommend this hotel to anyone with Hilton diamond status or anyone that does not want to have fraudulent charges on their credit card from the hotel.

    Inside the hotel looked nice and the person who checked me in was great! I arrived a bit in the evening so it was dark by the time I was checking in so there was no wait to be checked in and get to the room. The room was spacious and seemed pretty clean. My only issue was when walking outside and bringing luggage in there were roaches outside running around so I do not know if they need to spray or treat that but there was quite a few! Luckily I didn't encounter anything inside the hotel but they could easily come inside the doors.

    We stayed at Embassy suites in Albuquerque for 5 nights and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. From the friendly front desk staff to the delicious buffet breakfast and awesome suite we had. The room was spacious, clean and smelled great! I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Albuquerque

    I found this to be a nicer than standard Embassy Suites with a New Mexico touch. The rooms are all double rooms with a bedroom and an office or lounge space. My room was quiet even in a central location. There was a complimentary breakfast with oatmeal, eggs and meat, or an omelet bar. There was also a reception at 5-6 with complimentary drinks and snacks. One night was vegetables and hummus and another night it was fruit and Chex mix. The facilities were all clean and the food was decent. I was happy with my stay.

    I can't speak to the hotel rooms, but the Sandia ballroom was lovely. They were patient about checking on food allergies even when it was a catered event. Had Starbucks coffee and drink service, both of which were excellent. Looked clean and nice. Bathrooms were clean as well. Had Women's, Mens, and an 'anyone' bathroom as well (labeled with both icons and wheelchair). Ballroom did not get too hot even with the event we went to.

    Beware, if you are booking this as a wedding venue. I am the mother of the groom. The staff could not find my reservation. Once they found my reservation, I was told i was booked through a third party. I called the number on the website and was not aware of third party booking. As mother of the groom I was not given the wedding venue discount. I am paying one hundred dollars more an evening than my family paid for their rooms. To make it worse we were promised a top floor with balcony, and that is what we paid for. Instead we were given a room on the 5th floor, overlooking a rooftop, that smells like animal waste and body odor. I spoke with a manager who apologized three times and did nothing. I can only pray the wedding goes more smoothly than our terrible experience at this hotel.

    Looking for a Hilton hotel in Albuquerque was a bit stressful, considering all the hotels had horrible reviews. My husband travels a lot and says embassy suites would be the best pick and they also have free breakfast in the morning. I thought the hotel was in a great location. It was very nice inside and everybody was extremely friendly. I do like the fact that it's very open with so much natural light coming from the skylight and that it's such a different kind of hotel. You're not closed in when walking through halls but very open and able to see what's going on every floor. We ended up getting a room on the top floor with a massive balcony looking over the mountains. Which I get, you can probably see in any direction but from Florida it's not normal for us. Our room had a living room with a bedroom that was closed off, very spacious bathroom and even a wet bar. We didn't plan it, but we ended up coming at the time of the hot air balloon festival, which obviously we ended up buying tickets for. The first morning waking up, which was around seven or 8 AM. I open the curtains and saw hundreds of hot air balloons up and down the sky. Talk about such a surprising morning to wake up to something so magical. We just couldn't believe all the amazing hot air balloons that we just saw the night before floating in the air all around us. You can't beat being on the top floor and seeing them so much closer. So, I definitely recommend getting the room with the balcony, if you are coming for the balloon fest. The top floor are the only rooms with the balconies that I could tell from the outside. Breakfast was very nice. It's a good size buffet, and they even have an omelette station which they'll make whatever omelette you want. They do have a happy hour I believe at 5 o'clock, which we did get free drinks being diamond members so I'm not sure how that works for everybody else who is not. Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel and I'm pretty picky. I found this place very clean overall and I honestly didn't find any issues and the two nights that we stayed there.

    Very nice hotel. Plenty of parking and carts available to roll your luggage up to your room. They have a complimentary managers reception in the evening that serves wine and beer, light snacks. Also a complimentary hot breakfast and made to order omelette station in the morning. The room was spacious, clean and the bed was comfortable. My only complaint was when asking for soap in the morning, I was first told they would sent it up, I called again after an hour and was informed that housekeeping would not be in til later and then was hung up on. Otherwise a decent place to pick for a quick overnight stay when traveling.

    We went to Embassy suites to enjoy the New Year's Eve masquerade ball. When we went back in to the room to lay down. Less than five minutes, we got bit by bedbugs and actually saw them on the pillows.

    We are diamond members and always stay at Hilton hotels. This hotel looks like it was fully remodeled a couple years ago so I had high hopes they were keeping the rooms clean to keep it looking new. No such luck! These rooms are filthy. I will include photos. I always clean surfaces with Clorox wipes. I will show in a picture how dirty the kitchen counter was. Then I went into the bathroom and it was revolting. Why can't you clean the rooms after each guest?? You are just wiping things down and not cleaning. The shower has build up of hard water spots. Like they are just wiping things down, no cleansers. These are 2 room suites over $200 a night and you can't use cleaners? maybe a quick stroke of a brush to clean? The shower floor had a build up of body oils and dirt and so disgusting. See photo. Then on each side of bathroom counter look at the floor. (See photos) You can see build up of dust and body hairs on the floor. The kitchen floor was no better, it was dirty next to cabinets and the fridge handle was dirty. CLEAN YOUR ROOMS. Also linens are dingy looking. Ughhh!! Room 925. No luggage rack in room. Only 2 sets of towels?? If everyone would complain maybe things could change? Why isn't the manager doing checks on these rooms? CLEAN YOUR ROOMS! Whenever the hotel gets a negative complaint... it is always the same canned answer. Evidently the management doesn't care.

    Affordable and Comfortable Stay Near Old Town Albuquerque - With a Few Caveats…read more We stayed at Sandia Peak Inn - Old Town ABQ (a Howard Johnson by Wyndham), and I'll start by saying this: the price was definitely right. While it's not a luxury hotel, we more than got our money's worth, and I'll give an honest, balanced review. One of the main reasons we chose this property was the availability of EV charging. They offer both a J1772 and a Tesla destination charger, with a $10 nightly fee to use them. That was a great convenience and worked without issue. We booked the accessible oversized king room, which was very spacious, nicely decorated, and included a comfortable bed. We thought it had a sofa but found a day bed instead. The room also featured a small work table and a nice easy chair--well equipped for a short stay. The parking lot is tight, with narrow spaces and limited room, but our reserved EV charging spot helped avoid problems. Breakfast was modest but acceptable. There was a waffle maker, juice machine, coffee, peanut butter (the only visible protein), various breads, jams, and some overripe bananas. Vegetarian-friendly, but not very filling. One downside we experienced was related to smoking. Although our room was non-smoking, the moment I stepped outside in the morning, someone was smoking nearby. While I don't know how frequent this is, it would be preferable if the property were entirely smoke-free, especially near room entrances. The neighborhood felt like classic Old Town Albuquerque. I didn't feel unsafe, but I wouldn't recommend walking the area late at night. The exterior of the property has been nicely styled with Southwestern décor, which adds charm despite the budget-conscious operations. In short: everything wasn't perfect, but it all worked--and for the price, we walked away satisfied.

Two days before the day of my reservation I received an email saying my reservation was canceled. Good thing I checked my email. I promptly called the hotel and the person that answered didn't apologize, nor did they ask for my confirmation information to rebook me. They canceled my reservation so they could up charge someone else my room. Since this was two days before all other hotels were booked out and I had to reserve a hotel in Santa Fe instead. I will be posting this experience on every review site.

I'm moving cross country - WA to FL. I've driven cross country several times moving east to west and west to east plus I'm an army brat so I have lots of experience moving, long drives, and hotels. With that in mind take this review as you will.... I was looking for a hotel that accepted a cat, had a spot to park a moving van and towed car, and had a hand held shower. I called 5 hotels this is where I ended up & below are the results. 1. It is not a place for travelers who are moving and towing vehicles - it's in a residential area. If you are experienced driving large vehicles you will be fine otherwise you might want to stay somewhere else where it's easier to get a parking spot. If you are driving a pickup or car there's plenty of parking. 2. I requested a room with a hand held shower as always this seems to stump hotels when I call so it took them awhile to discover they had a ADA room with tub and hand held shower head. Take a look at the shower pics do you see what's missing and what the issues are? 2a. The hand held shower head is hung so high you can't use it when seated on the shower bench! Which defeats one of my 3 reasons for picking this hotel. ‍ 2b. There's no tub. So their guide sheet the clerk referred to when I called is wrong. 2c. The shower curtains (there's 2) don't reach the floor so the entire floor of the bathroom will get wet. Especially as the shower floor and bathroom floor are not graded to allow for the water to drain to the shower or the drain in the middle of the bathroom floor. 3. The drapes were open and the ac was off so the room was hot. The gauge says 76. I lowered it to 66, it's been 90 minutes and the room is still warm. So if you are as me and sensitive to hot weather be warned. It doesn't make alot of sense to have the shades open in a hot climate especially when the view is a parking lot. 4. The tv remote is missing. As I am a paranoid sort I called the front desk immediately not wishing to be charged for it. They offered to bring another which was nice but I can live without tv for one night. 5. The room and bathroom is large/spacious if you have kids or have accommodating devices like walkers you will have plenty of space. 6. The room appears to be very clean but I didn't take a black light to it; some things are better to be left. 7. Breakfast was interesting. 8. There is only one luggage cart and it rather large which is an issue as it doesn't fit well in the second elevator. When I pointed it out to the desk clerk he said oh use the other elevator. Umm sir when you press the elevator call button you get the elevator you get you don't get to pick as both don't appear. He seemed stumped by that. Recommendations - hotel to purchase several airport luggage carts they are more easily stored and maneuvered.

When we walked onto the patio and took in those sweeping views of the Sandias, I was ready to love this place. Los Poblanos has all the ingredients of a truly special dining experience: a gorgeous setting, a thoughtful farm-to-table ethos, and a menu that promises something above the ordinary. Which is exactly why the evening's annoying missteps were so disappointing. Service was well intentioned but unpolished. Our waiter seemed overwhelmed and, at times, unfamiliar with the menu -- a problem when guests are asking genuine questions about the food and wine. We ordered bread which came before our drinks were served. Wine service was inconsistent. I ordered an Albariño by the glass - 6 oz. My sister ordered the Cabernet listed on the menu as a recommended pairing for her entrée, priced at $11. After we placed our drink orders, the waiter returned to inform her that the menu price was incorrect -- the wine was actually $18. She agreed to proceed. He then asked whether she wanted "a half glass or a full glass," which is an oddly imprecise question at a restaurant whose menu specifies pours in 3, 6, and 9 oz increments. She said half glass. What arrived was 3 oz of wine in a small serving carafe, which the waiter simply poured into her glass -- no bottle presented, no taste offered. My own Albariño, by contrast, was brought to the table in the bottle with a proper taste before pouring. The disparity in service between the two of us was striking. A simple, clear statement -- "3 oz of this wine is $18, not $11; would you still like it?" -- would have resolved everything cleanly. Instead, the vague "half or full glass" framing left my sister without the information she needed to make an informed choice. For what it's worth, the wine itself was extraordinarily tannic -- borderline undrinkable -- and I would have sent it back. My nephew ordered a top shelf whiskey. The waiter told him "we don't have that". My nephew said "it's on your menu" to which the waiter responded "oh, let me check on that". There seemed to be too many instances of the waiter running back to the bar to check on stuff. Anyway, it was available. The waiter apologized. We ordered the bread which was served before our drinks arrived. Food took about an hour which is fine - I don't have an issue with that but during that time we never saw the waiter again. I ordered the soup of the day - potato and leek which was delicious. Followed by the blackberry salad, which was my main course. Both arrived simultaneously, with the salad placed in front of me and the soup set to the side as an afterthought. At a restaurant at this price point, the expectation that soup precedes salad is not an eccentricity -- it is simply correct service. When I expressed my surprise, the servers seemed genuinely puzzled, which suggests this may be a training gap rather than an isolated incident. As for the salad itself -- it was pleasant, but pleasant is not enough here. The blackberry salad was the kind of thing you might enjoy at a well-run casual chain: competently assembled, inoffensive, and forgettable. At a farm-to-table restaurant with access to exceptional local ingredients, I expect the plate to reflect that -- more intentional presentation, more layered flavors, something that is more elevated than what was presented. This one didn't. The gap between the setting and what landed on the table was wider than it should have been. My sister and nephews ordered the filet mignon and rib eye. Both arrived pre-sliced -- a presentation trend that has made its way into fine dining, though one that divides opinion. My concern, beyond personal preference, is practical: sliced meat loses heat faster, and at roughly $80 per entrée, guests should receive their steak in the condition that best showcases it. The quality was good, not exceptional. Los Poblanos is a restaurant with genuine promise and a setting that few can match. The concept is right; the execution needs work. The issues I encountered -- inconsistent wine service, course sequencing, and a discombobulated waiter-- are not kitchen problems. They are fixable. I hope the restaurant takes that seriously, because the bones here are excellent and the experience should be too.

As soon as I booked on Expedia they reached out, had me fill out the appropriate forms for liabilities, and made sure I was ready upon arrival. The staff I spoke to was very kind, patient, and helpful. He seemed to speak the language of the exhausted traveler, and was helpful with recommending local bites nearby. Our room was adorable and had a vintage feel to it. There was a minifridge set up with some refreshments (but enough room for our own things to still fit). The tub was a little confusing between ice cold and hot, but drawing a bath was a breeze. I love that they had dark towels for make-up removal vs just white washcloths. *I personally travel with my own, but I know it sucks to ruin a good towel with makeup. The bed was a decent balance between firm and soft. The room was silent besides the room AC. We didn't have to worry about our car, parking, or anything really which was an extra comfort. There are signs about golf balls potentially hitting the cars - they won't. I wish we had more time to wander around and really enjoy the property but now I know where to head to when we return. =)

We had several friends do the same, so it was nice to hang out in seating area on the lawn and catch up. The room is pretty basic but comfortable. Large bed, mini fridge, dresser... all of the basic amenities you would need. They also have some snacks and items in the fridge for purchase. It does make it confusing when you bring in your own stuff, but I managed :) Staff here is great, accomodating and very friendly. What sells me on this place is the location. Situated on a golf course, the views are great and if are up early enough you can see the hot air balloons. The hotel is set back from the main street so for the most part, it's a very quiet area. (I say most part because you do get the occasional tee time announcement over the loud speaker but it wasn't bad). You are also close to a lot of restaurants and shopping. Getting into the city is also easy, maybe 20-30 minutes away. So... the real question. Would I stay here again? If I am traveling solo or with my wife, yes. As a family, probably not. I am not sure what other room styles they have but with no microwave and only a mini fridge, I need something larger for the family.

The grounds are beautiful with options for biking (included), tennis/pickleball, walks, horseback riding, and golf. Located about 30 minutes north of Albuquerque and 45 minutes south of Santa Fe, made it easy to spend time in either. We were able to check in early, which was so nice after an early travel morning. Our room was large and included the classic hotel amenities, including waters. We were staying slightly during the off season, so two pools were open, which was fine as it wasn't that busy and it didn't get hot until about noon. Due to the location of the resort, it is easiest to eat at the property and there are a couple of options available: The Corn Maiden - nicer dining experience, Santa Ana Cafe - casual sit-down, Rio Grande Lounge - bar and bites, and Plaza - pool cafe. During our visit the Plaza pool restaurant was only open on Saturday. We tried in-room dining for breakfast one morning, as we were up early, the eggs had little to no flavor, and a couple of our items were forgotten/late. Not a huge deal as we understood they were training a lot of staff during the time of our stay. Overall, the food throughout all the dining options was just okay, and if there were more dining options close by, I would probably go there. The restaurants all tasted the same and there didn't seem to be much variety. It would be nice if at least one of the dining options was a different kind of cuisine to bring some variety. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, the staff was so friendly and helpful. There are plenty of activities to do at the resort and we loved that they had nightly s'mores. The room was great, but food could be better.

The property itself is beautiful and expansive, sits on Tamayame land, and at the outset of the conference a member of the Native American tribe welcomed us and shared about the land and setting. The property has with multiple event spaces, an on-site trail, a large gym, and several pools. It is a fairly large resort (our room was at one end, so it was about a 7-10 minute walk to the main lobby area). Each day began with a large breakfast buffet, and lunch was similarly well done. One of the highlights was being able to sit outside during meals at large tables overlooking the grounds, mountains, trees, and fresh air made for a really peaceful setting. For breakfast, I enjoyed the red/green chilies chilaquiles (New Mexican style breakfast), it was very flavorful and I enjoyed trying but was very spicy/heavy. From a conference and events perspective, the resort is very impressive. There is a large main conference room with a stage, and the room can accommodate over 100 people (at round tables), along with many smaller breakout rooms. Over two evenings, we attended events at different venues on the property, one about a 10-minute walk away (with hotel mini-bus transportation available), and another closer to the main area under a tent. The more distant venue was quite large and set apart, likely used for weddings and larger celebrations. That evening included a buffet dinner, DJ, dancing, and multiple bar setups. The second evening closer to the main hotel was a seated dinner under a tent, with music and performances in a more contained setting. There is also a nice bar and restaurant in the lobby, as well as another more casual restaurant by the pool. Given time constraints, I was not able to fully take advantage of all the amenities (including the spa, horseback riding, and longer trail walks), but I would absolutely recommend this property. It is incredibly scenic, serene, and feels immersed in nature, and I would gladly return.

I had a guac + salsa...and I didn't expect it to be anything different..but..wow..the way they dressed the food..it felt worth more than $12 price tag for sure! Sorry, I forgot my phone in my car but...possibly the fanciest dressing of guac and salsa order I had in the longest time! The only minus was you have to find street parking or go valet (but..if you aren't there to stay..its probably not worth paying for the valet). Street parking is also likely harder to find downtown on weekdays. I got super lucky with one last parking spot that opened up across the street on a weekend day evening..so I snagged it and headed into the hotel. I thought this was a good way to check out the hotel for sure! I think if I needed to use up my quarterly credits from my credit card, this was a wonderful way to spend it for sure!

I really like that parking is included and not an extra charge like some hotels. We were located near a Target and lots of restaurants as well. Our room was located on the 12th floor and it was busy as the last ever Gathering of Nations was taking place at the fairgrounds. The employees whom helped us were very nice and efficient and checked up on us with a phone call once we got settled in our room. As for the room itself, it was perfect for what we needed. We had a great view of the city. The only cons we had was the HVAC system was not working properly. The room was very stuffy and no matter what temp we lowered it to (went all the way down to 60) the A/C did not kick in). The fan was working but not blowing any cold air (the hallway's A/C was working). I reported it to the front desk upon check out. The other item was the shower's knobs were located on the opposite side of the shower head and I had never seen that before. It was very awkward as the glass sliding door does not open on the side with the shower head. I felt that it was unsafe as you turn on the water but cannot feel the temp of the water cause it is on the other side. Overall, stay was good and it was pretty quiet other than hearing a couple of guests out in the hallway. I would stay here again if in the area.

All the staff we encountered were very friendly and helpful. The elevators worked well while we were there. There are restaurants nearby including PF Chang's, which is just a skip and a hop away. If there is one thing that is a negative about this hotel, there is no grassy area around for the pets. It's all rocks. Other than that, we would not mind staying here again if we are ever in the area.

Definitely in need of an update for the price we paid but that wasn't the issue. The air conditioning did not work in our room. We alerted the night clerk after going in our room and she told us there were no other rooms available and that maintenance would look at it the next morning. That's it. We asked if there was a fan we could borrow. Nope. We had to go out and buy our own fan to help circulate the air in our room. The next morning we had a knock on our door at 8am. It was maintenance wanting to fix the AC my sister was in the shower so I told him he would have to wait about 30 minutes and we'd be done. We left for our event and returned around 3:30pm. AC was still not working. We contacted the front desk and asked for management, no manager on site but the front desk would send them a message. Crickets. About an hour later I contacted Hilton corporate and surprisingly we had a manager at our door about 15 minutes later. She affirmed that the AC was not working and that she'd been told it was fixed. She called maintenance while in our room and he walked her thru a few things. The unit did finally cycle on and blew cold air for about 3-4 hours. When we returned from dinner it wasn't working again. We called the front desk and requested another room because we had been told earlier that would be an option the second night. But nope. No other rooms so we had to sleep in the heat again. We were told the next morning when checking out that we would be refunded for those 2 nights but we would have to go through Corporate get it. So we paid for our rooms. Once home, I contacted corporate for our refund and I received an email from the general manager of the hotel in Albuquerque telling me he did not believe us and that no refund would be given. I contacted Hilton corporate again and all they did was reimburse me for ONE night and give me 10k points. Really??? Don't stay at this hotel! Terrible customer service and not worth the price anyway. Furthermore Hilton corporate should have stood behind their customer!
