I've been coming to get pedicures at the Machesney Park location for months but every time it's not…read moregood. Sometimes they will use the cheese grater and other times they say it's not included in the signature pedicure. They don't shape the nails very good. The "foot massage" is just them putting lotion on the legs and feet. Zero massage everytime! They rush through the pedicure. For $61 I should come out with my feet feeling smooth and relaxed. If I wanted a bath for my feet and nail polish change I wouldn't be coming in for a $61 pedicure. There are so many places to go for a pedicure where they actually get your feet smooth, massage your feet and legs good, and take their time on the nails themselves. Yesterday was my last time ever coming to gloss, which is sad because the salon itself is really nice. They just need to give better service with their pedicures.

The girl doing my nails literally did nothing but file my nails down. I honestly felt like I needed someone else to step in and take over. The pedicure took maybe 10 minutes, and it was easily one of the worst pedicures I've ever had. There was little to no effort put into the service. What really made me uncomfortable was when the manager told the nail tech that she was supposed to be doing my full set, and her response was, "Umm, okay?" The lack of confidence in that response immediately made me question whether she knew what she was doing. At that point, I decided I wasn't comfortable allowing her to do my full set, so I left without getting it done. I understand that everyone has to start somewhere, but when I'm paying for a professional service, I expect effort, confidence, and quality. Unfortunately, I didn't receive any of those today.
