Everyone seems like they've known each other for a lifetime and the hardworking team of employees has made a beautiful home for those living there. I've been blown away by this facility. From the attentive staff, the residents, the beautiful grounds, their activities and inclusion of all residents- it makes my heart so full. You feel like family the moment you walk in. The upbeat and compassionate energy is so contagious. They have one activity that I'm particularly touched by. Each week, Trader Joe's donates their unsellable flowers to Countryside. The residents join in the common area to create their own floral arrangements, which decorate the halls and lobby of this one-of-a-kind establishment. The smiles, the conversations, the interactions with one another...it's beautiful. As I was leaving today, after the floral arrangement activity, they had a little table set up in the lobby. "FLOWERS: $10". On the table were beautiful arrangements made by the residents that they were selling to visitors. My heart melted. How proud they were of their masterpieces and how each week, they meticulously pick out stems from the BOUNTY of flowers that were donated and put their own personal touches into their creations. I couldn't pass up the opportunity to purchase an arrangement. This wasn't made by an expert florist. This is a bouquet made by the hands of someone very special. Someone who finds joy in the small things. Someone who has a lifetime of stories to share. Someone who sees the beauty in friendships, small talk and being in the moment. Someone who reminds me everyday why I do what I do. Thank you, Countryside Living, for making each day a beautiful one for your residents.

I'm so thankful we found Eden Estates for my Mom a year and a half ago. On our first visit my heart was overjoyed and at peace. When you can walk into a place that feels like home (always clean, very comfortable furniture, cozy bedrooms, beautiful decor) and smells like home (three delicious home cooked meals) you know it's a special place unlike any other elderly care facility you have ever been to before. The well trained, 24 hour staff, is top notch and truly loves and cares for the residents. They treat them like family, because at Eden that is what we truly are...a family! They accommodate your loved ones likes and interests, favorite movies, music, favorite foods, and even celebrate their Birthdays complete with decorations! Before COVID we celebrated Thanksgiving and Christmas together a few days before. We were able to bring our loved ones favorite traditional foods that remind them of home. This place is truly a home away from home. The medical care is exceptional. They work together with my Moms doctors and hospice nurse, always keeping me informed of the plan if anything changes. I know without a doubt that my mom is receiving the best care possible at Eden. Since COVID, Josh (the owner) took swift action to inform us that we are no longer allowed to visit in person. I know this wasn't what any of us wanted, but I am very grateful that his number one concern is the safety of the residents at Eden Estates and gladly abide. Because of this, all of our Eden family has remained safe and protected. He quickly set up an iPad so that residents can video chat with their families. I feel that he truly cares and has the residents best interest at heart. I have no words to adequately describe how grateful I am for Eden Estates and all of the staff working there each and every day. It has been such a blessing in my life. I sleep better at night knowing my Mom is safe and sound at Eden.

It was hard to let go and allow a team of caregivers to care for him full time, but the day came when his physical challenges were more than I could continue to provide for him at our home. After visiting several large memory care facilities and neighborhood group homes, I was referred to Angela at Eden Estates. As the saying goes, she had us at, "hello!" The team is amazing! Angela's philosophy of care and commitment to excellence is unsurpassed. As a family, the owners are personally invested in the integrity and quality of life of the residents they call their Eden Family. Their kindness to both my husband and me during this difficult transition brought comfort and peace to us both. My husband adjusted quickly and easily to this setting, I believe because it feels much like any comfortable, caring home with a family. The caregivers learned early-on how to interpret his prompts and eagerly engage to meet his needs. I get to be his wife again and enjoy his company the days we have together. I am grateful to have found Eden Estates as our "second home".

He is still quite independent, but he requires direction for some of his daily needs. He gets almost one on one attention at Gateway. The owner and staff show much more attention to him then at the previous place. The owner regularly cooks homemade meals at the home, and takes into account my father's preferences. He enjoys watching her cook, and helping to clear the dishes. My father has difficulty understanding spoken English, but apparently can still understand Spanish (his childhood language). The owner and staff speak Spanish to him and he can respond in ways he can't to English. He is much more active and sleeps less during the day at Gateway. The staff makes an effort to find activities to get him outside to walk, play yard games, or just enjoy the weather. They also always have a puzzle on the dining table, and bring other games out to engage him. They play his favorite shows on the living room TV, so he doesn't just go to his room and sit alone to watch TV, like he did at the other place. The house itself is very nice, quite large, and my father has his own bedroom and bathroom. The owner brings her young son and small dog to the home regularly and my father really enjoys both of them. My father needed a locked facility because he is at risk of roaming and the owner gladly accommodated this need and had locks installed on all the doors and window so my father is safe and cannot get lost.
