I then tried reaching out through Instagram, thinking maybe there had been a misunderstanding or he had simply gotten busy, but again, no response. What is most disappointing is the lack of communication. If you're too busy to take on a project or decide it isn't a good fit, that's completely understandable--just communicate that.
