My wife and I were finally able to landscape our barren (bare dirt) backyard and knowing that it would be a very expensive project, decided to enlist the assistance of a landscape designer. We narrowed down our choices to two local designers based on glowing reviews posted on different social media sites. This designer was money oriented at the beginning, repeatedly asking us what type of service(s) we were going to chose: but then, Brad contacted us. Our initial phone call with Brad was informative and non-stressful. He gathered information germane to our project wish list, HOA requirements, tastes and budget. I found Brad Gore by searching reviews like this one. I had narrowed my search down to two designers/contractors and chose Brad because of the reviews and his superior ideas and knowledge. Brad used to be a contractor and really knows his stuff. He now does design and bids jobs for Pitkin Landscape. This is a great partnership, although you are free to use any contractor after paying for the plans (see my review of Pitkin Landscape). Brad asks lots of questions to find out what you would like and what your needs are. This was a re-landscape project that incorporated some of the existing plants and hardscape. We hired Brad to give us landscape concept for our front yard. We are pretty visual but were stumped with how to deal with a DG slope and racetrack that our dogs created! Brad planned our yard incorporating existing flagstone and things that we could reuse. His concept gave us plants and hardscape to use and bid out to local contractors. We worked with Brad spring of 2019. He's a nice guy very professional. Some cons are that he only comes 3 times, we kind of felt rushed into agreeing with the plans, maybe it was because we were first time homebuyers. We also asked for not much mulch and we got a lot, which is something that is hard to see in the plans. I wish he did more 3D plans that are easier to envision. The trees and plants we have are not the best either which we don't know anything about trees so we just went with it. Also the company (alatorre landscape construction and design) that we chose to do the manual labor which came recommend by Brad were just very unprofessional (Jovanie alatorre,)The owner would say he would come at a certain time then show up 2 hours later with no explanation. The work he did immediately had cracks in the cement. He said they don't fix it until it's as thick as a nickel or something. Then the cover that they did, makes this clicking sound when the fan is on high. He couldn't fix it, it was built already and I was fed up so we left it as is. Months later we had some issues and since the owner said to call him if there's any issues we did, he came, saw the issue and said he'd be back some time next week. The week came and went, we called and left messages with no answer. He got paid and vanished. I think if you say you're going to do something then do it. All in all we plan to rebuild the entire yard once we are able to. read more

In April of 2018 we were unfortunate to meet Brad Gore. After many visits of meeting with Brad in our home, he gained our trust, as we signed the contract with Brad under Alatore Landscape Construction & Design. The work was to begin in June of 2018. However, in November of 2018, the work still had not been completed due to the contractor showing up whenever he felt like it. Eventually the work just stopped. When we contacted Brad to advise him of the situation, Brad ignored us entirely. We would not recommend this company to anyone. Brad is good with you, until there's a problem. Let me start off by saying Brad Gore in a visionary! I found him by doing a google search for landscaping. After giving him a call, we made a time to meet. He came to our home and we told him what we would like to do to our front and backyard. We scheduled another meeting were he presented his hand drawn plan and schematics.
