Ours was a large project. Over 3,000 square feet of concrete in all. We have a large backyard and we wanted our driveway extended on both sides in the front. In the backyard, we wanted a patio out the back sliding door extending into the yard, a 20' x 20' concrete pad for a gathering spot in the middle and a 16' x 32' pad for sheds in the far corner. All of these pads would be connected by a winding 6' pathway. We got 3 quotes and selected Joe from JC & Sons. We are so satisfied with Joe and his crew. Joe is an honest guy and does not overpromise. He is straight forward and easy to work with. His crew did excellent work. We called for a quote and Joe came in 24 hours. We selected him and he came back within a week to sign the paperwork. From the quote to the final payment, Joe made sure we were happy and are dream was coming true. He gave us a starting date and he never changed it. He said it may take 20 days to finish and instead it took 10 days to complete. We asked for his advice along the way, and he willingly gave it. As each step progressed, we had consultations to make sure it was what we wanted. Every job like this has its changes and revisions. Joe handled them just fine. If something required more money, we discussed it and came up with the costs right there. There was never a question where we stood. Joe convinced us to put in drains that would go under the concrete all the way to the street to alleviate our backyard drainage situation. We are so glad we did. Joe and his crew were reasonably priced, realistic and took pride in ensuring everything was the was it was supposed to be. We had about 600sqft of concrete that needed to be demo'd and then graded back to flat-ish and we wanted grass and a wall built. Nothing too wild in terms of design. He came and let me know everything they were doing because I'm a curious one and ask a lot of questions. Worked with us on some stuff that came up like new drainage and sprinklers. Joe finished ahead of schedule and didn't leave until I was very satisfied. My neighbors liked his work and they plan on calling him for estimates and I also plan on having him and his team come back for a few more jobs. All in all great experience and I would recommend them for landscaping. I see some other reviews here and sure joe has a particular way of doing things but he's a great guy and some people just aren't good clients. They watch too many HGTV shows or Pinterest too hard. That being said if you're going to do any major renovation you need to be realistic with what you're asking for in your budget.
