To start with just want everyone to know that we had the best time and it was because of one of the employees who is a bartender! Austin G. We watch for a week Austin be talked to awful by other guest all because he would not break the resort policies just to do things that is forbidden. He was so awesome in with all the rude people ! He treated us so well and we enjoyed every day with him as our bartender! I sure hope the owners know what an awesome employee they have with this guy. My wife and I were staying for a few months in Panama City Beach during the off-season and we checked in just fine at the beginning of December. You overlook the ocean in all units it appears, and it is a beautiful view of the gulf with the majority of a sunrise and a sunset every morning and night if your timing is right. There is a big parking garage, and the elevators definitely get slower as more people check in. It got pretty busy during Christmas week. Pier Park and Target is about a mile walk away, so not terrible and there is a convenience store right across the street. The pool says it is heated, but it could be about 8 degrees warmer, but I did love the hot tub almost every night. Wyndham is on one side and condos on the other. I like this place a lot. read more

The parking garage does not let you know the height limit so we had damage done to our cargo carrier, we didn't have a single blanket in our condo the entire week. Upon arrival the master bedroom bed didn't even have sheets on it. You have to ride two elevators and an escalator to get from the parking garage to your condo. Most of the week one or more sets of elevators were not working. Our condo was so hot the majority of the week it was hard to even sleep no matter how many times we tried to adjust the a/c it would always go back to 76 degrees in there. Or fridge would not cool our drinks. We will not be back. Our friends we were traveling with had their belongings stolen right off the beach in broad daylight while they were out there. It was not a pleasant trip. read more

Beach resorts on off-season is always touch and go. Some of them are fantastically kept up and others sadly are falling apart. This one is kind of in between it's definitely showing its age. My particular condo I was in was fine inside, but the building surrounding it and the amenities are very, very tired and worn out. Everything could use a power wash in a new layer of paint on the bright side. The view to the beach is phenomenal. The weather cooperated, and I had two days of summer like sunshine and that was a Gift. read more

We rented a place through VRBO but at this resort and the staff there are very friendly, helpful and do a great job and helping you feel welcome. Everything is clean and the elevators from the lobby to the rooms are crazy fast. The only complaint i had was the weirdness of taking an elevator from the parking garage to the 3rd floor (which is slow) to then cross the skybridge just to take another slow elevator down to the lobby again to get to the main elevators for the rooms. Thats a HUGE pain - but if you arent going to and from your car much its NBD. And its not the worst thing....its just annoying. Love that they have a gym, pool, starbucks, indoor garage, onsite shop, little treat stop for the kids, bar with karaoke. They have nice walkways out to the beach. It gets a little crowded but the beach outside the resort is kept pretty pristine. They even have a spot to wash off, and restrooms right inside. Would definitely stay here again. read more

All in all this is a very good place to live; nice, well maintained, great area for restaurants, beaches, bars, etc. yet not that congested or wild. However don't expect much from the locals as to social activities or friendliness if that is what you like. They are mostly southern snobs who do not want to have anything to do with you unless your grand pappy was at least a colonel in the Confederacy! read more

Amazing place to stay at in Panama City, it's in a great spot close to pier park with great rooms and super fast elevators to get you to the beach fast. It also has a great pool and a nice size hot tub to relax in. There's a bar on site and a shop that sells ice cream and pizza. I've stayed here twice now and I can't wait till the next time! read more

First coming to PCB and expecting a pleasant stay, however that's not the case here. We've had our water shut off two different days one as I'm writing this. Our washer and dish washer do not work. Good resort, great amenities and friendly on site staff. The room we had was huge and had a lot of space. Having a jet ski fly in and out of the water directly in front of the hotel where kids are playing and people are trying to relax is very dangerous. The drivers of those seem to not care and just fly around like they own the whole area. I think this is a hazard and needs to be moved down away from the bulk of people. Our room ice machine didn't work and trying to get in touch with the right person was like an act of congress, needless to say we did not get our ice machine fixed while we were there. Otherwise, the pools were nice and the security of the location was great. read more

The condo itself was great (other than the wetness you felt inside from being right on the beach and the pull out couch mattress was TERRIBLE). It was a great location and had all the necessities. Emerald View is contracted to do the cleaning and it was terrible! Customer service was awful! If you call and get shana, ask to speak to someone else. I was yelled at and hung up on after questioning why our guaranteed 6pm check in wasn't ready. Things happen, I get it, but this was the most unprofessional person I have ever dealt with. Trust me.... go somewhere else! read more

This place was horrifyingly disgusting. It was like sleeping in a recently foreclosed apartment that hadn't been cleaned in years. Some of the features included other people's hair and crumbs on the carpet, stains of various sizes and sorts, grimy sheets, sticky floors, broken shower doors, jetted tubs that spray moldy water and balcony furniture adorned with a layer of bird poop. The star of the show had to be the alternate room we were offered when we complained that had dead cockroaches littering the kitchen floor. Needless to say we checked out immediately and will never ever be back. In addition to the disturbing lack of cleanliness is a management staff that refused to refund the rest of our prepaid stay. They seem completely at peace with the fact that their resort should be shut down for numerous health code violations. I would recommend you stay far far away from this place and all affiliated resorts and hotels. read more

Stayed here with family recently, for summer vacation, and absolutely loved the place! Absolutely beautiful hotel/resort: clean, friendly staff, and lots to offer: from a Starbuck on-site, direct beach access, a small gift shop, and a bar set on their sky bridge. Very convenient. Hmmm, so the resort and staff itself I enjoyed, well at check in and check out! Lol, since I couldn't get a refund, I had to make the best out of a horrible situation! Now the units or maybe this particular unit 431!!! needs major renovations before renting this out to another family! Carpet, walls, furniture & ceilings were very stained. The dishes were dirty but put away as clean, I mean globs of food left on the utensils. The bathroom fixtures were broken in master bathroom and just placed back on, the fridge door wouldn't close and leaked water, the apartment smelled like smoke, there was mold in window seals and around shower. Guest smoke at the pool bar although kids are near. And housekeeping never showed as I was told that was the only accommodation I could receive through my complaint! read more

The view of the beach is nice, and so is how easy it is to get around Panama City from this location. The hotel itself needs improvement. We have been woken up by the fire alarm test at ten o clock every morning since we've been here. Something that they didn't warn us about before hand. Then it proceeded to last throughout the whole day. When we went to complain the staff seems unapologetic and uninterested. They also had an attitude when we called about our door not unlocking because they are controlled by wifi and it was storming. The pool was nice but I wouldn't suggest staying here. I definitely won't be again. read more
