I don't know where to even start. This place fails on many levels.. some of the worst staff I've had to deal with. Very rude between the people at the front desk and the staff wondering around. Whether it's asking for help or greeting somebody... they just stare at you with a disgruntled look. Cleanliness of the rooms is poor. It honestly looks like they just verified that the previous guests cleaned for them. If you're not at least on floor eight, then your view will be blocked by the motel across the street.. You get one towel and one roll of toilet paper . If you need more, you have to go provide it yourself. Which means buy it even if you're staying for more than a week. Kitchen is useless . Microwave is so small. You can't fit a traditional size plate inside of it. The TV is a 28 inch. The mini fridge is smaller than what I have at my desk in my office. Ice and coffee machine filled with mold. All dishes in the cabinet are filthy. Overall I regret paying to stay here and won't make the mistake again. read more

It was very difficult finding the room and then when we finally got into our room there was no running water !! So that was very annoying epically after being in the car for hours and all you wanna do is use the restroom and shower. Didn't have water for over an hour front desk told us to call back at 5 pm for an update on the water and they close at 5 and obviously didn't answer ...the women who works at the pool will harass everyone and the Elevators kept breaking multiple times read more

The amenities are not what they are advertised. The arcade stole my money, the pool was not heated, the sunrise/sunset decks sucked, and the movie room was filled with junk and not active. Our bed was extremely uncomfortable and for our unit there was no stove and no forks for some reason. But, it did get the job done and was quite spacious. It was also very safe and had nice parking. Easy beach access. Wouldn't stay again but you can make do. read more

very confused about the negative reviews here because my friends and i absolutely LOVED this place, i'm already thinking of coming back and i haven't even checked out yet. the beach is so accessible from here and so convenient!! there's also a shop right in the place with everything you could need with great prices. the pool and hot top were amazing. we booked our room through airbnb with alicia and she was so wonderful, whenever we had a question she answered instantly and always helped us, and she even let us know we were able to check into our room a little early. my friend and i also got stuck here for a few hours waiting for a ride and the security guard (who is genuinely amazing) saw us and let us go sit somewhere private so we could relax. i completely loved my stay here! read more

Front desk - very rude. Very inattentive. One front desk person blatantly ignored my friend while she was trying to check in... pass her on to another person then said "IM GOING TO THE STORE. YOU WANT SOMETHING TO DRINK?" They tried to tell us we owed $900. They don't have all their ducks in a row. We didn't owe anything. The door sliding in the room we stayed in (which honestly had the best views) 1602. - the door didn't close. The room's AC is broken it stayed a constant 81 degrees. The air outside is seeping through The broken door so now the floors are accumulating condensation.. The elevators are ALWAYS breaking. Would we stay here again. 100% NO. Front desk isn't there 24/7 so there can't be anything they can do. We're paying a whole $1000 to stay here two nights. This is absurd! It's filthy. Filthy filthy. They expect a cleaning fee. What does it go toward??? There's mold on the ceilings in the bathrooms. The towels smell like crusty musty BBQ chips. The floors have sand all over it. The bed had crumbs on it. Bottom line, it has really gone down hill. I had a reservation, which I cancelled before the 72 hour window to get a full refund... Oh wait, no, a 25 dollar cancellation fee... should have read the fine print. I cancelled because stayed with a friend in room 436. So this is a review of that one bedroom condo on the fourth floor right by the pool with a view of ocean. So first of all the location was really good. They also allowed motorcycles to park in the entrance area which was convenient. So that was really good and the security staff was friendly and helpful. It is also across from Sharky's, a popular beach bar and restaurant. So what was wrong you ask? 1. AC unit only worked sometimes and was serviced by Origin but still do not work much on the three days I was there. 2. The TVs were really small (but lots of channels) 3. The fold out couch looked (and felt) like it had been picked up off the street where someone left it for the trash collector. Had a few sheets, but no blanket or pillow. 4. The rest (very limited) furniture was banged up and old. It consisted of an old TV cabinet, end table, one chair and a small table. Oh yes a floor lamp with a burnt out bulb. 5. Bathroom was OK, big but again, should have been updated. 6. Also had a brand new washer and dryer!!! OH wait, they were not hooked up. Front desk said they were waiting on parts.... hummmm 7. Oh yea, they also had I think three rusty chairs outside and one was broken. Basically, when I walked into the room, I thought my friend had booked a room at an old motel 6, not an ocean view condo. Besides Motel 6 newer ones were nicer. I don't know if this condo is company or individually owned but they should be ashamed to rent it out like that. I don't know the status of the rest of the condos but be sure to NOT get this one. read more

I've been staying in Panama City and Destin for 20 years. I've actually never had any problems at any hotel or condo until we stayed here. It was absolutely insane. What's crazy is I had a friend that stayed here two weeks before and told me the exact same thing happened to him and his wife. The property management group that runs this place is the absolute rudest and crooked people I have ever met. I have a large 250cc scooter (highway legal) that I drive there from Georgia. There were severe tropical storms and they would not let me park it on the property because they called it a "scooter". It is not a 50cc junk beach scooter it is a highway legal motorcycle. I received threats from them threatening to tow it every single day. I had to risk it being stolen and damaged by the storm because these people are such jerks. We were harassed by the "pool police" at the pool, They claimed we had a noise complaint even though we were very quiet the whole time we were there... after literally being harassed every day, ticketed, threatened, I spoke to the manager who was literally yelling at me on the phone. I called him an asshole and said I would never stay there again, and he literally wrote me $100 ticket for "using profanity on the phone". Anything for extra money. The security walks around harassing guests all day and all night. I would not stay here again in my life depended on it. Most rude service of my entire life. read more

They definitely need to work on customer service. My family and I were on vacation there for the Fourth of July holiday. We had three rooms in total, when we first arrived the guy at the turn around mentioned to us that we cannot park in front of the building because it was also the entrance to the parking garage. He was nice and polite about it. He told us we can park closer to the end of the drive way so we can check in. Check in process was LONG because they only had one lady working the front desk on a busy holiday weekend. She was polite and she was on top of things. She explained to us the property and just very informative. We go to park because you cannot unload or load up in the front of the building. They have limited covered parking. You definitely have to be in before at least 10PM to try to find a park in the covered parking deck. I did like that they have an overflow lot. The elevators were extremely slow, but you have to understand it's a busy holiday weekend. They also had two additional elevators on the East and west side of the building. The pool area is nice, but this is when we start noticing some of the staff just kept popping up everywhere we were gathered. My brother was followed by a security guard accusing him of throwing something off a balcony. Mind you her just got back from Walmart with bags in his hands. How can he do that if he never was in his room. That was strike two. When you enter the front lobby they have a sign that states No loading or unloading, this is for drop off and pick up ONLY. My family and I were waiting for everyone to come down to the lobby. As soon as we get outside and sit on the bench. Three of the workers/security comes out side just standing there. My dad and my brother both pulls up so we all can get in the cars to proceed to enjoy our day. One of the workers came up to the car, we haven't even opens the doors yet. He approached the car and said we have to move. So my brother pointed to the sign and it clearly states drop off and pick up only. So we proceeded to get the children in the car and TRY to buckle them in the car seat. He comes up again and states we have to move. It didn't make sense, it was a pickup truck in front of us was down here when we walked outside. So we mentioned it to the worker. You worrying up us getting picked up and this pick up truck been here longer than us. It was ridiculous, we spent money at this establishment only to be watched like a hawk and feel uncomfortable. Now to the check out, since we already knew we could not load up in the front. We told everyone to bring the cars down to the side parking garage where there were open spaces and we can load up there. My dad phone wasn't having good service, so my brother was TRYING to wait for him to pull up to the front to tell him to go to the side so we can load up. You can probably guess what happens next. A lady employee walks up to my brother who is just standing there waiting and told him he cannot stand there. Like WTH, he has on the green band they gave us to wear so they know we are staying there. So now we can't get picked up or stand in the front????? At this point we are packing up as fast as we can so we can get the hell from this place. The same lady who spoke to my brother came out the side of the building where we were loading and my dad automatically gave her a look because they been picking on us the whole stay. She immediately said no I'm not going to say anything. I just want to see how you guys going to pack this truck. We were like excuse me and then she walked off. Bottom line! DO BETTER WITH YOUR CUSTOMER SERVICE!! It's a shame that customer service and courtesy just goes out the window. DO BETTER! We WILL NOT be returning read more

We stayed here for a few nights while on vacation. We used Expedia to book our trip a month in advance and from the get-go things weren't what we paid for. We paid to say in a room with a gulf view thinking we would have the ability to watch at least the sunset and that wasn't the case. We were placed in a room that was on the side of the building overlooking a trailer park. We did have a water view if we walked out on the deck and looked to the right; however that was about it (so we paid $50+ per night for nothing in my mind). The fees are an absolute joke! They charge a $100 cleaning fee and I can tell you they don't clean and if they do it's a minimum cleaning service. Our bed was made; but full of sand (meaning they don't change the linings). The shower and bathroom floor had piles of sand in it, and things definitely needed to be steamed washed. There was trash and items left from the previous occupants and various other things wrong (e.g kitchen sink not working, shower not having hot water above 80 degrees, curtain rods falling off the wall, etc.). If it wasn't for the location I would have skipped out in this place. The fees associated for our 2 night stay was $190, which is charged upon check-in; half of this wasn't mentioned anywhere. read more

We rented from a 3rd party and our unit was wonderful! However two nights in a row a drunk employee kept making up things about the pool and decided to close it! 1st night said someone popped in it that didn't happen. 2nd night claimed someone threw up in it there was nothing there. We were out there both nights and he was drunk and aggressive with everyone. You could tell he didn't want people to enjoy the pool area. When my adult daughter tried to enter the pool he screamed at her and told her he was going to call the cops. He closed the pool 2 hours earlier then posted time and also never cleaned the pool! But it was open the next mornings at regular time. If I'm not mistaken if there is poop or throw up in a public pool it's supposed to have maintenance done before it's opened up again. But there was nothing done he was just drunk on the job. Also none of the employees had any identification on them showing they worked there. Very unprofessional! Overly aggressive " security" intimidating guests is just a start. No one ever at the front desk to help. They had my car towed from their lot when I was a paying guest, They said that they could not see the tag, which was sitting on the console. They refused to help me, then I was attacked by another employee who ran into the lobby screaming at me to shut up when I was not even talking to him. I left to avoid confrontation, Then they brought 3 POLICE to evict me. I am a 71 year old disabled senior citizen and the police threatened to arrest me if I did not leave in 2 hours. No paperwork or proof to evict. I was harassed and attacked by 2 employees who seem to do nothing to help their guests. DO NOT STAY HERE. DO NOT STAY HERE. read more

Right when we got there after a month of planning, and a 8 hour trip, we were told that we weren't allowed to check in, and then the front desk called someone laughing then said we could check in still if we paid $300 and we'd get it back after our stay, we had no where else to go so of course we'd take the risk paying $300 and by the end of our stay we never got the money back and the front desk was never there every time I checked or called. Although the place is more visually appealing than most resorts but all the stuff they have closes at 10PM (hot tub, gym, pool. Etc). The rules are also very very strict and if you break any rules it's a $100 fine with no warning, and it can be simple stuff like hanging a towel on the balcony to dry or forgetting something in the hotel after your stay. read more

If you want a family vacation please don't go here. There's so many unreasonable rules that are not welcoming to families and children. They say the pool is heated to 85 degrees and that was never the case after staying here 2 weeks. The pool was cold probably around 60 degrees. You also have to be 12 years old to use the jacuzzi and can't go swimming by yourself unless you're 16 years old. The security is very rude and aren't willing compromise or help. They will approach you in a very commanding manner as well. I do not recommend to anyone. Save your money and don't stay at Origin. read more

Started off by the front desk directing us to room 407, but there is no room 407. Turns out it was 427 but the keys weren't programmed to 427 either. When my wife went back down to the desk the reply was it was just a room mistake, and was told "You need to go have a seat over there" well my wife's response was make me ( she was irritated and didn't like the tone from the desk ). My wife was then greeted with a finger being waved in her face. My wife stated I want to speak to the manager (Chris was his name and the only positive exposure on this property). Chris programmed the keys and escorted my wife to the room. Once in the room the ceiling fan that I could hear from outside the room was much louder, thankfully I could shut that off. My family and I have been staying here since we started coming to PCB about 8 years ago. It was a great place when we started coming but had been going down ever since. We came this week and our rooms were not fully cleaned, had just a sheet on one bed, no other blankets or comforters. Luckily we had brought extra blankets because we say the weather would be cooler. No pans or skillets toy cook breakfast in the mornings and just bare minimum supplies. Also we're not given wrist bands or parking passes upon getting here. Giving this three stars because the we did get them parking pass and wrist bands in a timely manner and the convenience to Sharks, the beach, and pier park. Definitely need to step up their game for us to come back. read more

My husband and I took our daughter and her friend to the beach for a little vacation time. We booked and paid for a 2 bedroom at Seahaven that we found on VRBO. When we arrived that evening we were told the room we booked wasn't available. They were putting us in two 1 bedrooms. I told them that wouldn't work bc my daughter is 15 and her friend is 14. They said there was nothing they could do. Also they needed to charge a credit card for the rooms. We explained that it had already been paid for through VRBO but they wouldn't let us have the room keys unless we gave them a credit card. It was late and we had to take the 2 rooms. The 2 rooms we got were units 4036 and 4024. We were disgusted to see the condition of 4036. It was dirty, the furniture looked like it came from Goodwill back in the 90's, it smelled like smoke, it had next to no dishes or silverware and the TVs were as small as a computer screen. The other room 4024 was much better but the over all condition of the building and it's amenities were rundown and dirty. We are still waiting to see if we are refunded the charge from VRBO. Disappointed is an understatement! We will never stay there again! read more

I've stayed at origin three times and Ive only had one bad experience and that was booking through seahaven. I recommend booking straight through the condo itself instead of going through seahaven at origin. I booked a room at Origin a month in advance and called a few weeks before to confirm my booking and see I there were any other fees associated with check-in. They confirmed and said all fees were included in the charged amount. After our 5 hour drive, we arrived three hours early for check in and was told there was no reservations for us. After showing the woman at the first desk at seahaven(check in office across the street form origin) my verification email and credit card charge. She didn't have me in the system. An hour later they finally "found" my reservation; and of course that wasn't the end of my problems,,, they then informed us that we need a $300.00 deposit, after specifically asking if there were any additional charges weeks earlier. At check out, I asked when the deposit would be back on my card and the new lady at the front desk told us we were never suppose to be charged a deposit. If only you could imagine my frustration!!!! We rented condo 1602 upon arrival the lights in one of the bedroom didn't work sent messages to host took her 3 days to respond and get it fixed and the condo was hot air stayed on 74 the whole entire week had to buy a box fan only 1 bedroom had a ceiling fan ..the floor was filthy you could walk barefoot and your foot would look like it had hair and black ..the host has not done anything to solve the matter untill I got security involved there was a hole in floor which she said was plug in but all it had was wires uncovered no plug my son step in the hole could of possibly elecuted him and still no response about that or give any kind of resolution paid alot of money to stay here ..and some of the appliances wouldn't work when you cooked the vent would drop water cause it was so hot the furnace filter was black I would not let my dog stay here !! read more

This is THE worst hotel I have ever stayed in. They are condo units that are part of the Wyndham vacation club. The room was dirty, the floors had stains, the vents were full of dust, the bottom of the curtains had black mold/mildew growing on it. The worst part is the customer service. Rude doesn't even cover our experience. First they sent us to a room that doesn't exist, the. When I went down to correct it, I was treated poorly. The location is perfect. Right across the street from the beach. Some food close by. I would suggest if you are a person who wants quiet, this is not the place to stay. Kids everywhere. One Central set of elevators so that is a wait. There are 2 other sets but one didn't work and the other we couldn't find. Overall we were so unhappy we left a day early. read more

They dont tell you that you must supply all your toiletries and that you will be paying $158 cleaning fee. Old tube tv's. I will never come back to this s__t hole. They dont tell you that they are spraying for bugs during your week. They try to make you wear a stupid hospital wrist band when on the property, but you dont see any other patrons wearing them. If you want fresh towels they make you bring your dirty ones to the front desk. If you want some more toilet paper you will be driving to walmart and buying it. If you want peace and quiet and your any where near the 4th floor which is the outdoor pool floor forget it, they blast so called music all day long. read more
