Repeat customer from our family. What does that say? Got rear-ended in my 4Runner by a big commercial truck. Big-time damage to my rear end, including the lift gate. They informed me that it was a big job and why PROPER parts would take a little longer so that I could make an informed decision. They kept me informed every Monday without fail of where the car was in the repair process and, if necessary, changes in the projected finish date. Awesome service! Forever ago, someone backed into the front end of my Pontiac G6. I had my repairs done at ECC since it was approved by my insurance. As the years went by, my hood and headlights became very oxidized. I finally stopped procrastinating and called them to see if my hood was covered under the warranty. I didn't even think to mention the headlights because I assumed they get foggy with age. They gladly said stop by. Eric took a couple of pics, I dropped it off Monday, Eric called Thursday saying it was ready for pickup. I didn't even mention the headlights and to my surprise when I went to pick it up, they were sparkly new just like my hood!! Bef/aft pic included. (Before pic is on a sunny day and after is on a rainy/cloudy day, so color looks different but it's the same color, just freshly painted.). WOW! This review will not do these folks justice. I have never been involved in an accident that required a collision center or an insurance claim. Someone backed into my car and completely crushed my rear bumper. I called Emerald Coast Collision Repair and from my very first phone call, I was put at ease and walked through the process. Luckily for me they are also a certified USAA approved Collision Repair location so the insurance portion was seamless. They explained how the rental car process worked and how the insurance company sends them all the paperwork so I don't have to do anything. Emma took excellent care of me and she is beyond knowledgeable and efficient. I starting receiving text messages about the status of my repair from the get go. It was reassuring to know that they working so hard to get my vehicle completed. They finished my vehicle a day early and cleaned/detailed my van better than I had ever done it. They even cleaned the car seat to which my daughter was amazed and couldn't believe that they got the carseat looking brand new. I will forever and always use Emerald Coast Collision Repair for any future repairs (hopefully won't need any). In June my daughter had an accident driving my 2015 VW Passat, 1900 miles on it. It wasn't her fault & fortunately no one was hurt. I was rear ended a month ago and had my Lotus Elise taken to Emerald Coast Collision. When I received a text message from my insurance company stating the damage would be repaired in a month, I contacted ECC that day to find out details. They told me they were "repairing" the clamshell which essentially is the bumper and houses the safety components. The area was badly cracked on the rear right side and I knew from experience that repairing cracked fiberglass is a no no, especially on a safety device. I was not only concerned about safety issues, but also because if it resulted in further cracks in the future, which was almost certain, I had no doubt they would fight me on it after this experience. So, the owner Eric first told me that my insurance company stressed they could only repair the device, so I had to contact my insurance company who showed me the document that said repair or replace, so that was lie #1. Second, he told me that it wasn't technically a safety device (bumper) and so I contacted Lotus and had them contact my insurance company to tell them it in fact was, (all this after them telling me they were capable and knowledgeable about my vehicle). After Proving that it resulted in a total loss of my vehicle because of the price of the body components. I decided to retain the vehicle and needed to pick it up at this point because they were obviously not capable, and Eric the owner was recommending I do not pick it up, instead take the full pay out, which bothered me because I never asked his opinion, only when I could pick it up. He told me that they would not be reassembling the vehicle because they were not payed to, and I asked if I could pay them, he told me flat out no, that they would not reassemble it even with me paying them, which I found fishy. He told me the car was in three parts and sent pictures and to my shock they had destroyed the back end of the car during removal. I was furious and asked him why. His third lie was telling me that it came in that way. I told him I had before pictures and so did the field appraiser and asked if he wanted to try again. Next, he told me they "needed" to break it to get it apart, which is a total lie again because of a glue holding the reinforcements to the bumper and told me I would understand when I picked it up. I told him I had been building and working on cars my whole life and I was not buying the garbage he was selling. The next day, I went to pick up my car, and finding a wrecker who would move it in pieces was a struggle. When I got there, I was blown away. My car was not in 4 pieces, but about 20, and they did not even help me move the parts outside, they made me do it in the rain, (keep in mind I was injured in the accident). When I saw the damage they had done he called over the person that decided it was necessary to damage a $9,000 part. He first told me it was broken from the accident, (seriously, this actually happened) after I called him a liar and showed pictures he said they needed to break it (again same garbage response). I asked why it was not a controlled break, I asked why they just ripped chunks off instead of perforating and controlling the damage and he said he didn't know. I DROVE my car to ECC, payed them, and took it home on a wrecker in worse condition than when I took it there a month later, and now I am facing buying a car in 1 day because the rental is due back tomorrow. These guys are crooks, unprofessional and believe I will be hiring a lawyer, even if I must pay out of pocket they won't be getting away with this behavior and treatment of their customers. Go somewhere else. EDIT: Eric just contacted me with an attitude about what I wrote, all of which was true asking me "what the hell" I was talking about and afterwards told me he was going to sue me for slander. Unfortunately everything I wrote was true, and slander is bearing false witness to a person's integrity or image, and everything I wrote is an account of the events with him and his company. I am removing stories that people told me about his shop because they don't need to be involved. read more

So here's a true story. Kid hits my grand Cherokee in McGuire parking lot mom and dad ask to keep it private. I take it to Emerald Coast Collision repair. Estimated about $5500.00. Mom gives CC for payment. Salesman tells me he didn't charge to "blend the paint" that's 4-500 more. Jeep gets fixed sent for alignment the component everything they just replaced. Two is that as well. This adds another thousand dollars to the cost. Mom and dad gift credit card. One month for days three hours later I'm told it's ready. So I joyfully turn in my rental car and walk the mile or so to Emerald coast collision. The salesman comes outside with me we walk around and I noticed my back glass has popped open, thanking this is on I just go ahead and slam it shut again. So we go in and get my keys and paperwork. I come out and try to start my car dash says "broken key". I get out after several tries I lock the truck with the fob but when I unlock it THE BACK GLASS POPS OPEN AGAIN! I go inside the sales guy and I guess manager come out do flim flam dances google it and say it's not their fault. Every time they lock and then unlock my car the back glass pops open... it was open BEFORE I got my keys. They knew this was a problem before they called saying it was done. So these dirt bags give the number of two tow companies in the area. The dealer is the only solution for repair. So $415.00 and 2 days off work walking my ass off and I'm back in my truck. If you ever use Emerald Coast collision get ready I assure you it's not going to be a fun ride and will cost you more money. #NeverAgain I also see you deleted or altered my customer file so I can't tell this 62 year olds story on your web site.
