My Sylvan pontoon boat was less than 6 months old and had several issues: battery was not marine…read moregrade or adequate voltage and didn't have a turn off, the auto-raise Bimini Top wouldn't work, horn was broken, there's a huge dent/gash in one of the tri-toons and more. Pretty unbelievable that Sales let us drive off the lot with these issues! After we'd had enough, we contacted our lawyer who recommended that we first try to speak with the salesman and owner for resolution. Neither had the courtesy to call us back. But NICK, the new service manager, called us within an hour of leaving the lot. He is taking care of everything on the list and is professional, courteous, prompt, and trying very hard to make up for the deficiencies in other departments. Nick formerly worked for Legendary Marina...and their loss is Gulf Coast Boating's gain! Nick and his service department are excellent! I tried to like this marina. I really did. Dropped boat off in November 2023 for a new bottom paint…read morejob. The boat sat on the seawall for 8 days prior to being pulled for the work. While there it sustained fiberglass damage. I was told they are not responsible for it. After many emails later the fiberglass was repaired on 21 March 2024. The marina had my boat for 3 days. On Saturday 23 March I went to pick the boat up. While the repair job was nice, I went below which I had locked up and gave the manager the key in case of emergency. Once there I noticed someone decided to use my head and left me the nastiest mess you can imagine. Why did they feel it was necessary to leave poon my toilet? I mean cmon. This is absolutely disgusting and totally unprofessional. You can rest assured I will NEVER utilize this marina in my life.

I did not acquire a boat from them, but used their service dept as an authorized mercury dealer…read more $525 for installation of a fuel/water separator (which I supplied), and replacement of a fuel line connector from 1/4 to 3/8. Hours spent to diagnose a fuel starvation issue at $120/hour which turned out to be the fitting. Boat returned to me with unsecured throttle cable in the engine which caused erratic rpm and steering issues and diagnosed by another authorized merc dealer over the phone. This service took one week, and was explained to me after the fact, that boats purchased at dealership have priority in the shop even though the engine was under warranty. Another authorized merc dealer said he would have charged less then $250 for what was done. I would not recommend service at this dealer.

We rented for a special occasion ! This was our 4th time renting from beach weekend ! It was our…read morefriends sons graduation trip and this was supposed to be best day of the 6 day stay with us on emerald coast . I speak highly of beach weekend because the kids working the docks are always so nice and accommodating . But this time we waited 20 mins with our dolley cart loaded while everyone working inflated floats for customers and walked around ...... we were just about to say something then someone walked up to give my hubs the boat walk through . This time we didn't get a boat with the complimentary huge cooler . It was a smaller boat . Too late to switch but ask for that one if you can because it's nice transferring everything to there big cooler and not have 5/7 yetis on one pontoon . This trip the boat we rented broke down 1/2 way to crab ..... it delayed us over an hour waiting for new boat . We swam around where we were parked and chilled. Totally fine and happy waiting in gorgeous clear water off oakaloosa . When they came to replace it we had to unload current boats bags and coolers for 10 people to new boat . Not bad but kinda added more time to find where everyone's stuff was after we quickly moved . We were kinda annoyed he said we could have an extra 30 mins added to our trip . We told him we were delayed over an hour so he said 1 hour passed our time scheduled to return ...... It's likely we will rent from them again in July because of all the great experiences we've had in the passed . They do military discounts and it's pretty reasonably priced . Plus they drive the boat out and in the marina for you...... I would have been happy if they gave us more then an additional hour that we missed or a discount on the next rental ..... we got there at 10:30am . 30 mins before our check in time . But we legit didn't get to crab till after 1 between waiting to load then the boat beeping and stalling out 1/2 way there .

The reasons it wasn't 5 stars was mainly due to the equipment you get. The boat is your typical double decker pontoon boat with a 115 on it. The problem was that the propeller was so worn out that we weren't able to drive it like we should have. Took almost an hour to get to crab island from their dock. We were getting passed by all sorts of boats with the same & smaller motors like we weren't even moving. To make it worse, they don't have speakers on the boats and suggest you rent their TurtleBox speaker. No problem right? We spent $50 to rent it only for it to die in less than 2 hours. We called back to the receptionist to let them know about our issues. After a little time they said they would refund us 50% of what we paid plus take off the $75 Lilly Pad rental. About 2 hours later I got an email saying that I was refunded a little over $181. So they felt refunding $181 out of our $1362 bill was going to be okay. Wouldn't recommend this company, bring your own boat or use someone else.

While at HarborWalk Marina we tried to hook up the power and could not get one of our 50s to function. The boats from 2008. And I'll have to admit I didn't have a clue to what the problem is. We went through all the normal stuff resetting breakers plug-in plug out switch cables nothing seem to work. Asked around and Two Tony's was recommended. I called Two Tony's the owner was available and came out. Short notice. Started poking around. Determined pretty quickly that one of our isolation boosters wasn't working. He put it into bypass mode. And the boat was lit up. When you get this kind of service it just puts a smile on your face. If they treat a new customer that way can you imagine how they treat their customers? Next projects to get our refrigerator replaced. Highly recommended I would use them again when I'm in the area.
