Great experience with this company! We hired a charter & captain to take a group of us from the marina to Crab Island - about a 30 minute boat ride. Our captain was super friendly and most importantly made sure our ride was safe. He went over the top while we were at Crab Island - blowing up rafts, going to the food boats for us, etc. We booked a four hour charter but could have stayed all day, we had so much fun! read more

We rented for a special occasion ! This was our 4th time renting from beach weekend ! It was our friends sons graduation trip and this was supposed to be best day of the 6 day stay with us on emerald coast . I speak highly of beach weekend because the kids working the docks are always so nice and accommodating . But this time we waited 20 mins with our dolley cart loaded while everyone working inflated floats for customers and walked around ...... we were just about to say something then someone walked up to give my hubs the boat walk through . This time we didn't get a boat with the complimentary huge cooler . It was a smaller boat . Too late to switch but ask for that one if you can because it's nice transferring everything to there big cooler and not have 5/7 yetis on one pontoon . This trip the boat we rented broke down 1/2 way to crab ..... it delayed us over an hour waiting for new boat . We swam around where we were parked and chilled. Totally fine and happy waiting in gorgeous clear water off oakaloosa . When they came to replace it we had to unload current boats bags and coolers for 10 people to new boat . Not bad but kinda added more time to find where everyone's stuff was after we quickly moved . We were kinda annoyed he said we could have an extra 30 mins added to our trip . We told him we were delayed over an hour so he said 1 hour passed our time scheduled to return ...... It's likely we will rent from them again in July because of all the great experiences we've had in the passed . They do military discounts and it's pretty reasonably priced . Plus they drive the boat out and in the marina for you...... I would have been happy if they gave us more then an additional hour that we missed or a discount on the next rental ..... we got there at 10:30am . 30 mins before our check in time . But we legit didn't get to crab till after 1 between waiting to load then the boat beeping and stalling out 1/2 way there . read more

The customers for this business constantly show up on my private property regardless of no trespassing signs and think this is the beach weekend rental place. I have contacted the business and asked the owner or manager to call me to work out this problem but they ignore my requests. We have had people looking for Beach Weekend come on the property and when asked to leave threaten us and cause disturbances. My next step is to include The business, the city of Fort Walton, and Google in a lawsuit. read more

The rental process was a little hectic. Not sure if it's because we were such a large group, but the check in and waiver process took more than an hr. Once we got on the boat it was Smooth sailing. I was nervous because my brother drove the boat and has never been a boat before. But he whipped it like he's been a captain all his life. Such ease I was impressed. Crab island is underwhelming but it may just be we were all pretty tired from the previous night. We would definitely rent from Beach Weekend again. read more

We were in Okaloosa Island/Fort Walton Beach for a friends wedding. The day after the wedding all 100 of us rented 10-12 pontoon boats from The Beach Weekend to go out to crab island. Walked in to the building to check in and immediately noticed how rude the employees were to everyone in our party. Specifically, Gretchen who I'm assuming is the manager? She talked to us like we were dumb and she was not happy to have our business. We have friends who are locals to the area and they said they have never been to a business that treated them this way. Spend your money at another business who will treat you nicely and be happy to serve you. read more

We accidentally ordered 9 boats (thinking we were reserving for 9 people) they made the necessary changes without question or issue. Captain Mike and his crew were great! My family had a wonderful experience. We saw at least a dozen dolphins in the beautiful emerald waters. My 5 and 10 year old enjoyed catching the crabs during snorkeling time. The boat is a smooth ride for those who might typically get seasick. Looking forward to coming back next year! read more

We rented 2 pontoon boats, 1 of which broke down twice and the motor kept making noise, acting like it didn't want to go. Once we made it back to the dock, advised the manager of what happened, she just said "ok", all of our boats do that. Well, that is not the truth as the other boat ran just fine. We spent $1700 renting their boats for my moms 60th Birthday. We are really disappointed in the managers nonchalant demeanor about what happened. We could have gone anywhere but chose their place, this is not good customer service at all and I've been in customer service for well over 20 years. We do not recommend this place. read more

The snorkel and dolphin cruise was a lot of fun. The team kept us very entertained. We loved seeing the dolphins and sharks!

My husband and I enjoyed every bit of this tour, the crew (will, mike, Cassidy) were so nice and really helped everyone on the boat have a good time, we saw so many dolphins and got to see the most stunning clearest water in Destin/fort Walton. The snorkeling was so much fun, did not feel rushed at all and was able to get a good swim and check the wildlife in the water. Definitely would recommend this if you're in the area. read more

we had a great time, and the Captain and deck hand girls were awesome! We took a dolphin/ snorkeling cruise and my only complaint is in regards to the snorkeling portion of the cruise. The location was not good at all for snorkeling, I would have liked to have gone to a reef or something similar. we didn't really see many fish at all and the current made it difficult to go out where we might have been able to see more fish etc. , so it would have been nice to have flippers to help swim against the current. I would suggest the company consider finding a better location for the snorkeling. Again, the Captain and deck hand girls were 5 star! read more
