Being the horrible mother I am (sarcasm, don't come for me people! ), I allowed it! So during our annual family vacation, we found Alan's Cool Ink and this guy was honest about what the tattoo would likely look like as my kid continued to grow. He gave us what I thought was a fair price and proceed with his craft. Well, this year, same thing. Now he's 17 and wanted a even bigger piece to honor his grandfather "King Phil", forever President of Unexplainable M/C (Nashville, TN). We love the piece, the price was great, Freddie was great, whole experience was seamless! He blended with the 1st tattoo (which in my opinion needs something done to it now that his arm has grown AND more importantly, you can barely see my name now ), it's flawless! The only problem now is he'll be 18 soon and can get a tattoo locally, Freddie you moving to TN? Ha! Anyway, can't wait to see what he produces for the kid next year.

The office area was clean, well lit, and the hygiene/cleanliness practices were obviously a high priority. We received a thorough explanation of all that was happening and what to expect/how to care for the tattoo until it has healed. Highly recommended. And for the place that closed early... thanks!

After 1-2wks my nipple piercings were embedding because the barbells were too short and my nostril piercing started to sink because of poor aftercare instructions/post too short. I reached out to Torrie and she switched me out for longer barbells (for free) and told me my nostril looked fine. Unfortunately, the barbells were still too short and my nostril wasnt getting any better. I lost confidence in Torrie and decided to get a 2nd opinion at different shop. I was switched out for more appropriate length starter jewlery and received better aftercare advice than what Torrie provided to me, which was spray the piercings 3-5x/day and this caused my piercings to dry out so much it caused irritation bumps. Torrie also never educated me on the need to downsize jewlery after 6 weeks. (Which is probably why she put in too small barbells) If you're not experienced with piercings I would not recommend getting pierced here. I'm rating Torrie a solid 1 since she did a great job on placement however, her aftercare instructions were not clear and I truly believe if I had not went to a different shop for a 2nd opinion my piercings would have rejected. Due to different local laws my oldest and her friend can't get there helix (eat cartilage) pierced so when planning our vacation to Destin we found out they can with a parent Id and notary permission. We called around and this place said they can fit them in no problem as long as a parent for both was there to do Notary and witness. The helix piercing is $50 including the earrings they use. The notary for a minor will run you an extra $10. You must have cash for this. They can not take credit card for the notary part. The piercer/artist was very good and patient with my daughter and her friend. They were pretty nervous and he answer all there questions and help relive some of that fear. The piercings were quick and painless and they were both very happy overall. Overall good experience. We came to get something accomplished and they provided that in a quick and painless manner. I felt comfortable the whole time and they kept me the parent in the loop and by my minor the entire time so I know everything was done professional and by the the Florida law limits.

My husband's guy, Shin, did an AMAZING job with the design and details of his tattoo and I LOVED the colors I picked for Nikki to do on mine, her design was also perfect. My tattoo incorporates the colors of Destin beach and waters.
