One of the guys left tons of cigarettes in my lawn and they also left a few spikes dispersed in the lawn that they use to nail down the barrier to the paver walkway. This wasn't a cheap job by any means, but the end quality has been poor. About 6 months after the walkway was finished, we had weeds and grass coming through the pavers. Upon closer inspection, barely and sand/sealant was in between the pavers. Now, barely 1.5 years later, we have to have someone come and remove all the growth between the pavers and reseal. I could tell they rushed the end of the job because Hao himself came to quickly sweep some sand into the pavers then rushed out. When I remarked about the spikes and cigarettes, he told me he always tells his workers to not do it, but they always do.

He gave me a good bid and told me he could fit it in within the next couple of weeks. I gave him the job and within a week he had his crew start work. They removed the sod and soil one day and brought in gravel and rebar the next day. They placed and compacted the gravel, drilled into my house foundation and epoxied the new rebar into my foundation and setup the forms. As soon as the City bought off the foundation and footing preparation, Fernando brought his crew back to pour and finish the concrete. I was very happy with the job. It was completed start to finish in less that a week. I would certainly recommend Fernando to my friends for their concrete jobs.

Fernando's customer service and follow-through were poor. I reached out for an estimate to install new stairs leading to my basement. I met with Fernando twice and spent over five hours discussing my project with him. However, Fernando took weeks to provide the estimate he promised. Then he went missing in action, not responding to my phone calls, emails and messages. Unfortunately, I can't speak to Fernando's work quality because I did not hire JM Brothers Construction for our project. I'm sure Fernando does excellent work, but the brutal pain to get the job estimated and committed was more frustrating than I care to manage. In closing, working with Fernando was a very unpleasant experience. In general, he was very unprofessional delivering estimates, and I wouldn't refer him to anyone or work with him again.
