The owner was great on the phone and I had an appointment within 20 minutes. I'm sure they have busier parts of the day and this was at 10:30-11am. The nail technician was very polite and cordial. She took her time with my pedicure and manicure, and did extra coats of polish without me requesting. I had the "basic" pedicure was as good as some of the "spa" pedicures I've paid for over the years. Thank you again to the nail tech and other employees for your patience, kindness and service. I love the vibe of this salon - super bright, trendy, and conveniently located in the Village Gate Plaza. The website answers any and all questions about your cut, color, or wax in advance, with a demystifying FAQ page and a full before and after care list. My service was ~30 minutes long and I felt totally comfortable for the duration. Nitty Gritty goes out of their way to ensure their salon is an LGBTQ+ safe space - there's specific information on waxing if you're transitioning, an ask for pronouns at the time of registration, and a truly welcoming atmosphere for all.
