Very bad experience with Serpil!! she declined my hair service, which I don't understand the reason why!!! I called her and told her about my hair color (dark brown) and the hair color I want (blond)! She booked an appointment for me, and she said please step by to check your hair before the appointment! She checked my hair really quick, then she said if you want blond, it would need more than 1 appointment, I recommend you to do light brown instead of blond! I told her I'll give you an answer to go for blond or light brown. And to my surprise she said, you have 24 hrs to give me an answer or I'll decline your appointment!! I gave her an answer in 2 hrs that I'll go for light brown (as she recommended). Finally, she sent me txt message saying that she is sorry!! (I am declining your hair service, your hair color is so dark)!!! read more

After my long time hairdresser retired, I spent years in hair dresser limbo. It was hell. Living in Webster, I wanted something close by and reasonable. After "been there, done that" to all the fancy, schmancy places, dropping a small fortune I decided to take a stand! I started interviewing hairdressers on the phone and asking if they had experience with thick hair. Of course they all said yes and I was fooled once more into hoping I'd found someone - but no..I walked out with the infamous penis head shaped haircut. I then started calling and asking what kind of hair THEY had. Enter the first time I spoke to Serpil. She assured me she had experience with thick hair and she also had thick hair. She had an accent and a no nonsense way about her. I liked it. I was a little scared.I booked the appointment. When I met Serpil for the first time, she was just finishing someone up. She acknowledged me and offered me something to drink. I waited about 15 minutes which was a little annoying but I could see she was really paying attention to her client and that's exactly what I wanted her to do with me. She finished with her client and called me up. We spoke a few minutes and then the magic started. 3 hours later, I had the most amazing haircut and color. I was really impressed, finally someone understood long, thick hair. It's been a love, love relationship ever since. Services I've had are eyebrow waxing and shaping..excellent job. They are offering new products and services all the time. It is not a great big spa with a hot tub...its a cozy house. The key here is that they do a great job on the services they offer and stay on top of the new trends. I am accustomed to sometimes waiting a few moments. I've never seen anyone leave there unhappy. The person who wrote the negative review isn't really happy with anything given her 1 star review of 4 out of 5 places. complete mental case. read more

I have been going to get my hair cut for the last year by the owner and I can say she does a wonderful job. I often ask for her advise on what products would help with my hair type since I have fine hair. She has recommended different products that I could try but has NEVER tried to sell me one of the products. She has tried different products on my hair which I like that she does that, so I can see how they really work before I go and spend the money on it. Serpil has been doing my hair for many years now. She is a professional and her expertise & knowledge are what you are getting. I walk out of her salon 100% satisfied every single time and I've never had so many people compliment on my hair when I am out. I don't have thick gorgeous hair but she advises and styles my hair so that it looks the best that it can be. She has never pushed products on me. If you are thinking of getting your hair cut of styled DO NOT COME to this place. First of all they are always late, I waited 25 minutes. The owner is a Bully. I simply wanted to get my hair trimmed and the owner who is always pushing her products, told me that my hair looked filthy and dirty, although I just washed my hair the night before, she went on to force me to wash my hair, all I wanted was my hair trimmed. She then snapped at one of her employees to dry my hair. I remained sitting in the chair waiting for the owner to trim my hair, but she never did. I basically paid $20 to be humiliated & have my hair washed with sub standard products. I put my hair in a bun and left in tears. BTW, my hair looked better before she washed it, after she used her cheap shampoo, my hair was very dry, dull and frizzy. I now have to go somewhere else and spend more $$ to get my hair trimmed. It shouldn't have to be that difficult to give a paying customer what they want. Suffice to say, I will NEVER EVER go there again! read more
