I was honestly considering signing up for a membership because the overall atmosphere was so nice. That said, I was unfortunately really disappointed with the actual massage. My husband paid extra for a deep tissue massage because that is specifically what I prefer. I used to be a massage therapist myself before becoming a stay-at-home mom, so I understand there are different styles and pressure preferences, but this did not feel like deep tissue whatsoever. The pressure stayed extremely light for the entire session and honestly felt more like a light Swedish relaxation massage. What made it more frustrating was that the therapist never once checked in about pressure or comfort throughout the session, which would have given me the opportunity to ask for deeper work. Since we specifically paid extra for deep tissue, I left feeling disappointed and honestly a little upset that the service provided did not match what was booked.
