We are full-time RVers so we have stayed in a park or 2 - Without boring you with too much detail... After staying there 4 months I experienced needing the help of the owner/manager (Kelsi). Help that came with a hefty price tag. I was told that her husband had turned off my water and forgotten to turn it back on and their solution was that I go outside (in the dark) and turn it on or wait until they came back to town. Being alone, almost 80, and not too firm on my feet, was unimportance to her. I went without water for 16 hours and she was incensed that I dared to be frustrated with the lack of help and I was told we were not a good fit for the park and we should leave. They are absentee managers and don't want to help their residents. I know I'm not the 1st or even the 2nd to experience Kelsi's wrath and leaving was a bonus for us. Sadly, this child has no management/customer service skills. So to end with a word, of warning be aware and don't cross her.

He had three leashes and three very large dogs, and when I ran around the camper to find what the commotion was, I found him standing with his three big dogs who were attacking my 9-pound Havapoo. Her entire leg is bruised. I learned my lesson. Never assumed that people will control their dogs. This man shouted at me with the F word while he stood and watched his three large-breed dogs attack my little dog. Nobody should take three dogs on a leash if they are not capable of keeping the dogs from doing harm. Never again will I make that mistake. Lucy will stay in the truck during set up. I'll never stay there again.

There are freight trains padding by during the day, but not at night...at least we didn't hear them. Large mature trees, bathhouse (under remodeling), with plenty of space between sites. We have a 38' motorcoach & toe a F150 pickup. No problems parking! Easy on / off I-80 with the town of Potter about 2.5 miles away. Restaurants, small shops, & even a golf course are nearby in Potter. Do stop here! We stayed 2 days & loved every minute.

The other campers were very quiet. Most of them seemed to be long-term. They went to work early, and came back around dinner time to crash. The trains were not quiet! They came pretty frequently. They didn't keep us awake, which was surprising being that close. There is a toilet house which we didn't inspect, but it looked good from the outside. There are no local television stations to tune in to, and I didn't see cable hook-ups. The staff were friendly and very helpful. All-in-all, it was a good place to spend the night.

I had to take the initiative and just drive here just to make sure that it was open and what we were able to do. I was delighted to find such a beautiful park right along the river bank. Have the ability to tube and have the little ones play. Children can play, and there is also a kid pool (a definite bonus). I was afraid that it would get packed and we end up not being able to stay. So I was left behind, and my husband went back to get the rest of the family. Since it is Monday, I figure it is not going to get too busy. But, I am not going to take a chance.
