Was so sad today! I have recommended this shop to friends and family for piercing and tattoos. Went in today with my BFF to get a simple matching one word tattoo. Tristan asked how he could help us and Drain was walking up to the front desk as I told him we were here to talk to Drain about getting a tattoo. Tristan asked if I had a reference picture of what we wanted, I pulled it up on my phone and showed him. Tristan shook his head and said No. I was dumbfounded..I said No? He said no, Drain doesn't do those kind of tattoos. I thought ohhhh he's joking with me. I have a sense of humor. Nope he wasn't joking! The place was clean and professional, but they did not offer any upselling of aftercare. They offered a QR code to scan for info on aftercare, but I had to find the products myself. I bought the wrong kind of saline and ended up with an infection after a couple of weeks. I had to contact a different piercing shop to figure out what the proper products were & how to heal after infection. I went in on Thursday (5/13) and got my septum pierced. The piercer (I believe her name is Nyx) was simply amazing. So sweet and kind. Very knowledgeable and even answered a bunch of questions I had before the piercing. I went here for a nose piercing and I went in a little nervous because I had been previous pierced elsewhere and had scar tissue. She assured me that it was something that she was very experienced with and that helped ease the tension. She pierced through without any issues at all and I even went ahead and got two helix piercings as well! Their shop is clean and cozy and it is easy to find when you look for the gated entrance right next door to the mystical piercing shop. I got my second lobe piercing done here about a year ago and I just wanted to hop on here to say that I've gotten multiple infections from the jewelry they gave me and my LOBE PIERCING is still not healed. They gave me very thick gauged jewelry and everyone I know who's got piercings have made comments about how thick the jewelry is for a very simple lobe piercing. Not to mention the piercings are so close together and I wasn't given the option to check spacing beforehand! Let me start by saying I picked this place based on reviews. I had called in advance and was told no appointment necessary for a piercing and walk-ins taken until 7:30. I arrived at 7:22pm with my daughters and could tell instantly that the piercer was not happy. I filled out my paper work quickly, and got into the room in a timely manner. She didn't discuss anything with me, put a dot on my nose that I could not see, and she said ok I can make it darker in a hasty rude tone. I asked my daughters, and they both said good. She didn't discuss the piercing or anything with me about it. Told me to sit down, and just did it. I could see her getting even more irritated as my daughter decided to also get a piercing. She was glaring at the guy up front, and just was extremely irritated once again by having to do another piercing! Mind you this is a piercing my daughter who has a brain tumor, was re-doing because it has closed up because of the MRI's she has to have every few months to check for new growth! The more I think about it, the more upsetting this was!! I get it, she thought she was out the door, but it's her job! And she was extremely rude and unprofessional! She was driving away before we even walked out the door! I just now accidently ripped my piercing out with my glasses....had no idea how to get it back in or even how the piercing was in there! Had to take it completely out because I wasn't told or shown on how it worked!
