I had an important appointment today and phoned 2 hours ahead to make sure I could have a taxi at…read morethe my departure time. I even asked if I should book a bit earlier because it was important I left at the correct time. When the taxi did not arrive as scheduled, I called and was told I was "in the queue" No indication on how long I should wait. I called Emerald Taxi and they came within 5 minutes. I used to use PG Taxi whenever I needed a ride at a specific time but after today, I just don't think it is worth my stress levels. While I do understand that rushes happen and one customer means very little, I do think the dispatcher should have: a.) encouraged me to book earlier if I was worried b.) ensure that a taxi was there since it was prebooked or c.) informed me at a reasonable time so I could have rescheduled. An option on the App to notify of high wait times could have accomplished this. For now, my business will be going with Emerald as they picked me up promptly the 3 times I needed them today.

Owner got on phone and was screaming at us. Just ruined the evening.

And that's only what we could see never mind what we cannot see! the smell was enough to make you want to walk! $12 per person...you might as well take a reputable cab (yellow), find a limousine or just rent a car at the airport!

I've taken the shuttle to and from the airport several times now. It's a cheap, no frills service -…read moreeasily the cheapest way to get to the airport (a cab can be around $30!). The lady who answers the phone for reservations is friendly and helpful. You're given an approximate time for pickup. I've heard complaints of it arriving late but that hasn't been my experience. Usually there's only a few passengers so lots of space. The seats are very comfortable. The driver puts your luggage in the back, and sets off. I have always felt like the driver was very friendly and willing to chat, and a safe driver even in poor conditions. The van itself is not top notch - at $12 it's obviously not going to be like a cab ride. The condition of the van hasn't been a concern for me yet. If you're quite particular about where your park your bum, then maybe this isn't the service for you. I like the cheap ride, the good service, and the friendly staff so it works great for me!
