Most of the staff was very apathetic (especially the night staff). I was almost given the wrong medication a few times. Fortunately for me, I know my medication very well. I have severe anxiety. My panic attacks were commonly ignored. One night, I cried and borderline screamed the entire night (I didn't sleep). The nurse ignored me, even though she could have talked me down or given me a Xanax, which I am prescribed. It was my first night there, and I was scared. I went to a different rehab facility (Encompass) after my stroke, and had very few panic attacks. The staff was always able to talk me down. Some nights, I waited as long as an hour to use the restroom. I had alarms on my bed (pretty standard). I eventually started setting off my alarm after 20 minutes, so the staff would come in and I could use the restroom. I am not a difficult patient. I never had problems like these anywhere else (hospital, other rehab). Don't send your family or yourself here! It was terrible.

Rosedale staff provide quality services and really care about the residents and their quality of life. It's very clean and well kept. Each department has dedicated workers at all levels, housekeeping, dietary, nursing staff, activities program, (life enrichment) , administration, and reception. I was very dissatisfied with the care my brother received at this facility.He had fallen at home…read moreand I took him to the hospital to be checked for any broken bones,etc. There were no injuries except some bruising. He was then recommended for re-hab at Cold Spring Transitional Center.He was to undergo physical therapy to strengthen his legs and enable walking good again. The staff was more interested in sedating him and keeping him in bed!They instantly got an attitude when we had his sedatives removed!He was there for rehabilitation not sleeping in bed! His meals were never monitored or with assist,which I had asked for,just placed in room with no help to eat and left laying down in bed. I went myself to feed him for almost every meal!! He was left in bed uncovered,wet and with bowel movement on him.Their understaffed aides are rude and are not capable of taking care of your loved ones! They don't care! I removed my brother myself and brought him home to be cared for. If you have to have a family member there you BETTER check on them daily!!

Just to preface, I've worked in healthcare settings for 19 years and have experienced many…read moredifferent facilities throughout my career. I started Sun Behavioral Health beginning of April. I am in a director capacity, on the Senior Leadership team and make rounds of the facility every day. I have met some amazing people over the years. People who are the best at what they do, compassionate, high functioning, goes above and beyond, promotes teamwork, able to reach goals that seem unattainable to most and I've seen these qualities within the Sun Behavioral staff. From housekeeping all the way up to the CEO, everyone has a passion for the patients. Throughout the week, I sit in on many, many meetings, meetings that I always look forward to. They are thought-provoking, introduce different possible scenarios, always very forward thinking and 100% of the time have been so focused on "How can we continue to keep our patients safe, better serve them and the community we are in". I cannot answer to the previous reviewers, I can only speak of what I've experienced over the previous 3.5 months and going forward into the future. Staffing consistency has also been one of the focuses, which has led to a strong, communicative and cohesive team. I have thoroughly enjoyed being a part of true change, growth, compassion and teamwork. I've enjoyed the opportunity to witness healing and transition. This company goes well above for their patients, that's very obvious to me. From changing wall colors from white to a warm gray, listening to staff interact with patients, taking patient suggestions to heart, creating change for the better. Thank you Sun for solving the unmet needs of their community. For giving people hope, a friendship and a lifeline that they rely on to get better. It's been a honor to sit among such skilled professionals and I so look forward to continue solving unmet needs. This is my honest review from an observant staff member that experiences everyday life.
