RE: KARMA WILLIAMS, PA and BREANNA, JOHNSTON PAIN STAFF My…read morepickup at the pharmacy went sideways this weekend, In the midst of the usual chaos of a Monday, I attempted to reach out to my provider at JOHNSTON PAIN MANAGEMENT due to an issue with my script at CVS in Hampstead. After numerous calls and messages, sweet BREANNA picked up the phone at 2 PM and just owned the whole situation! She made contact promptly with KARMA and I have no doubt that between the two of these professional and personable women, I'll have my meds today. Please thank both Breanna and Karma for me! With Breanna, her patience, willingness to help, and reassurance helped to calm me and I feel confident that the dilemma is resolved! I'm so grateful for Karma and staff members like Breanna who understand how frustrating these situations can be for the patient. Her attention to the details of the situation kept me from having to repeat the whole scenario over and over and she just took it forward, assuring me that everything would be resolved and that she'd call me back promptly, I felt complete relief after a stressful morning. With Karma, I always feel that I am the only patient at the practice, she makes you feel that special! I've been with her for roughly 10 years and the undivided attention that she shows me during my visits are such a blessing to me. While this world is spinning at breakneck speed, Karma truly listens to every word I have to say and I know that she truly cares for me and all of her other patients, Mondays are just heavy days but thankfully, these two beautiful souls have taken away my stress regarding receiving my overdue meds. 11/20/25 I've been a patient at JPM in Jacksonville,NC for…read moreapprox a yr.Yesterday I had ablations done to my lower back by Dr.Erin Cheney & her team.Dr.Cheney is & has been,through the procedures she's performed on me,not only extremely professional,confident & knowledgeable in doing the procedure itself,but her ability to multi-task before,during & post procedure with such an upbeat,friendly & personable bedside manner makes me feel truly confident,at ease & valued as a person!I also asked her for a possible answer/solution to a recent & debilitating condition in my shoulder.We discussed it,she LISTENED INTENTLY & before I was to the front desk had an appt to move fwd with what I think(& it seems she agreed)is at the crux of the issue.Dr.Cheney represents to me,what other Dr's,especially in Pain Mgmt,should aspire to be. Dr. Swiber is a wonderful, compassionate, prince of a human! Seriously, his kindness can not be overstated. Great sense of humor too! Megan Frank, PA is also top notch! She hasn't been in pain management very long, but she has an innate sense of caring and empathy that makes her perfect for the field. The nurses are amazing, along with the office staff! Very little waiting, great communication. If I ever move back to NC, this is the first place I will go for care!

She knows what to do like the back of her hand, it's always a pleasure to see her and watch her work. Waiting time is reasonable. Finally! An orthopedic facility that appoints a doctor before a PA. I saw Dr. Guirgues (back surgeon) regarding disgenerative disease of the spine. He was familiar with my record of previous treatment in California before the visit and came up with 3 non-surgical options. A week later I saw Laurel, his PA. Impressive! Laurel is responsible for the cervical section of my spine. She reviewed MRI results on a diagram in the office and referred me to another doctor for ablation. Dr. Guirgues performed spine injections in a surgical setting. For me, it was worth the hour drive to Morehead City. I have HIGH anxiety and cannot deal with any more pain. NOTE: Ask for a doctor that uses a facility to give injections. It's the doctor's option. I was offered the option to be stretched out over a table and not be sedated, if I wanted to see another doctor at that location. [Hmmm...barbaric period.] This location offers all services to the complete spine and physical therapy (Country Club Road location).

My wife has been dealing with a neurological issue for over 2 years and the only steps this sorry SOB has taken has been to suggest more medication or "pain management"...and more medication instead of trying to actually address the root cause...meanwhile my wife has been in consistent pain and going through not only that, but extreme weight loss due to often not being able eat for sometime a week at a time, and mental health issues due to primarily being bed ridden bc of the pain. if you get a referral here...immediately ask for another referral...this doctor is a total oxygen thief and a waste of time. I feel supported by every person in this office that I come into contact with. Terra and Bonnie asked me questions that I had never been asked by any past doctor or neurologist I have seen. They created an individual plan for me when many others had been minimizing and dismissive. I truly appreciate their dedication, care, patience, and kindness. I will never go anywhere else. He is always smiling and he exudes a peacefulness, that makes me feel like I've known him for a long time, comfortable. I no longer use the cane, and had no surgery. I am an older female, but he works with all ages, including children. If you are having orthopedic issues, stop by the office to see Dr. Earl Frantz. l have an appointment to see him in a month for an Orthopedic procedure. I am looking forward to my visit.
