Absolutely awful! I get that it's hard to find a dentist on a Sunday, but I expected at least a minimal amount of basic service. That did not happen. I paid $165 for nothing. I made an appointment online. When I arrived, I waited 10-15 minutes and then some x-rays were performed, I then waited 1.5 hours in an exam room and never saw any staff. They turned on a TV and left me alone. When someone finally came in (still not a dentist), she told me that the dentist would hopefully be in soon. She said the other patients had been there since 10 am (it was 4 pm) and were just being seen. I waited another half hour and then left. I never saw a dentist. After waiting several hours, I decided I'd rather be in pain at home in front of the TV than alone and in pain in an exam room in front of a TV. read more

A Truly Exceptional Dental Experience I came in for an emergency visit to this dental office, and I cannot express enough how grateful I am for the care I received. I have an immense fear of doctors, especially needles, and I was in the middle of a full panic attack on my way to the appointment. Despite that, the moment I walked in, the staff treated me with such kindness and urgency. I had made an appointment beforehand, but the way they got me in so quickly made me feel genuinely cared for. The waiting room even cleared out faster than I expected, which helped me feel more at ease. Once I was taken back for X-rays and an exam, the experience only got better. Dr. Nisely and his assistant deserve the highest praise. They were not only incredibly professional, but they showed a level of patience, compassion, and empathy that I've never experienced in a medical setting. They never rushed me or dismissed my fear. They treated me as if I was a member of their own family; calm, gentle, attentive, and understanding while I worked through back‑to‑back panic attacks. Their bedside manner, professionalism, and overall care were truly outstanding. In what was one of the most stressful moments of my life, they created an environment where I felt safe, heard, and thoroughly cared for. I am SO thankful I chose this office. Very polite and professional service from the front desk staff to the dentist. I was having severe tooth pain and they got me in right away did some x-rays and the dentist thoroughly went over the x-rays with me and asked me questions to find out what the problem with the tooth was. He gave me all the options from the least invasive to the most invasive and said he'd prefer to try the least invasive first which I totally agreed with and I appreciated the fact he didn't want to just jump in and do a root canal or extraction. These people are absolutely amazing. I am traveling and I have a tooth that lost a filling and was disintegrating. My hope was to get a temporary fix until I got home to see my regular dentist. I searched online for an emergency dentist. The facility is modern and equipped with amazingly tech. The dentist was calm and explained everything thoroughly and I left with a beautifully reconstructed tooth, that will not require a follow up. I couldn't be happier. Five stars for sure. read more

I had a dental emergency for a cracked tooth on a Saturday holiday weekend that needed just to be extracted. I was clear about this when I called and made the appointment. As a I was when I walked in and to the dental staff. I don't know how much clearer I could have been. I stated it 4 × as just want my tooth pulled even to the dental hygienist that tried to measure my teeth which had absolutely nothing to do with a tooth extraction. I told them I had a regular dentist. They kept trying to only push a dental plan and add more money to my bill but yet wouldn't treat me for why I was there. Wanted to also do a bone grafting for an implant I was not going to be getting in the near future. I sat in the dental chair for over 2 hrs with still no treatment. Just to have them continue to try to push their salesman dentist to get the cost hire and still no care for a tooth that was clearly cracked and hanging their. They didn't care about me as a person just wanted to make sure that I paid before I was seen and yet still was never treated. They made sure you pay before being even seen also. read more

I had a dental procedure done almost a week ago when I was in a lot of pain. I tried to call my original dentist office oak leaf dental and they refused to see me until March 12th so 6 days later... well I thought I could hold off but the pain was so unbearable that I had reached out to EDM. They took me in right away and found out the issue was basically my original dentist left my gum as a deep pocket. Which was close to the nerves and bone. And I had an infection going on which would explain that taste and smell I had in my mouth. Well when the dental hygienist was cleaning out the gum, she realized that there was cement in that infected gum. That the other dentist had left over when they put my temporary crown on. They ended up having to laser my gum, which they numbed me up for which was nice. After having pain almost all week long when the numbing wore off sure my gum was sore but it wasn't a horrible pain that traveled from the gum to underneath my tongue. It was nice to have relief!!! They had put me on antibiotics. So far everything has been doing good! read more

This place commits fraud and deception under duress to steal your money. They will pump you up with painkillers and start work on your mouth before saying a word about your procedure not being covered by dental insurance and then try to tell you you have great insurance (even though they know damn well the procedure isn't covered). When you can think clearly enough to explain that it IS covered by your health insurance, they will refuse to make claims to the medical insurance (dental only). They use fraud, extortion, lies, and intimidation against their patients to steal money from them. If you have dental insurance and want to use it, don't go here. Went in for a simple tooth extraction that was supposed to be covered 100% by insurance and instead got screwed out of $1200 (FULL price) with no recourse and absolutely no coverage by insurance even though they are listed as a top tier provider. They also charged for TWO surgical extractions when surgery was only needed for ONE and refused to put the non-surgical extraction through insurance where it would have been covered 100% read more

I've been going to this dentist for 3 years, and I have never experienced such an awful, uncommunicative, unfair, and possibly illegal company policy until today. This company proactively reached out to me in November to schedule a "cleaning only" appointment, as to which I made the appointment with them via text for the date of Dec 17th. They then reached out on Dec 3rd to confirm my appointment, in which I confirmed on Dec 4th. On Dec 5th, they took it upon themselves to re-schedule my appointment without my confirmation, for Dec 18th. THEN on Dec 15th, they reached out to me to tell me they had to reschedule my appointment on their end. it was rescheduled for today, Jan 5th. So not only have they re-scheduled my appointment 3 times, one of the times, they did so without my consent. Not only did they fail to mention anything about an exam when creating my appointment or rescheduling, they failed to tell me what I would need to pay up front when I came to my Jan 7th appointment. I showed up to my appointment and they told me it would be $233 up front for my cleaning and an exam. Again, no one and no text message conversations that I have from you guys, state that you need a payment up front, WITH insurance? I am allowed 2 free cleanings a year through my insurance which does not include any exams. I made this appointment specifically for a cleaning only. Therefore, I should not be paying anything up front for my appointment. If there were an exam to be given or a balance that I would need to pay, that needs to be told up front at the time of the appointment, and it was not. I have documentation through text messages of every interaction I have had with you guys about this appointment since Oct and I would be happy to send these over to prove that no one mentioned payment or an exam, only a cleaning. I am also still 2 hours and waiting on a call back from a manager, supervisor, or HR because no one was available for me to be transferred to. I called before posting this review to give them the benefit of the doubt and I was updated that a manager/supervisor will not be reaching out to me until Monday. Absurd. read more

I had an appointment at 12:30 in a lot of pain, I wasn't finally seen until 1:30 which was very frustrating, they said it was because of my insurance (I have 3 insurance cards and have never had an issue before) But when I was finally seen, Erica was the assistant and she was AMAZING! Gave me water and a blanket- I had a terrible infection in my tooth that was spreading. Erica took very good care of me. I did not end up getting my tooth fix there- they wanted to do some surgery that would have costed too much out of pocket. read more

I woke up in excruciating pain in my wisdom tooth which had a cavity at 3AM on a Sunday. All clinics I called had a wait time of a few weeks and there was no way I could live with the pain I was for a few weeks. Emergency dental was literally a life saver!! They got me in at noon on that Sunday and treated my issue which was I needed the wisdom tooth pulled. Jennifer the tech was so incredibly kind and made me feel very comfortable and the dentist did a wonderful job as well. The whole experience from the very nice receptionist to the end of the appointment was a very positive experience even though I was there for a wisdom tooth extraction. They have great hours and are so very helpful and definitely live up to their name of Emergency dental. I would so recommend them read more

Broke my tooth while I was in town. Explained that I could have an extraction, need a temp fix until I got back home. They offered to grind down and place a temp cap, with a real cap taking 3-4 weeks. They claimed that any dentist could use the ground down tooth as they did it to make a crown back when I was home. I went with the temp putty solution that was to last for 2 weeks, but it lasted 1 hour. Came back in, the replacement didn't make it to the car. It was not worth it to me. I asked my home town, dentist, if it would be ok to have them grind down and prep. They explained to me that that was a really bad idea. They said there might not be enough tooth left to use for the crown. Should have saved my money and just waited. read more

Made an appointment on a Friday and got in just hours later. I hadn't been to a dentist for a very long time, but had been suffering with a tooth and needed to make the appointment. My experience after 2 appointments has been awesome. No judgements. Did some 3D x-rays and other diagnostics, and then gave me a very detailed explanation of why I was experiencing pain, how to fix it, how much it would cost and then how to get back on track. I have dental insurance, but it didn't cover much. I used my HSA to pay my out of pocket expenses. Very happy with my experience and plan to make this my place for regular dental care! read more

Had a tooth pulled on a Sunday. I paid in full before the tooth was pulled. I made an appointment for follow-up. The day of the appointment I called when I saw the snow. Serious, serious snow storm. Few people were out driving because it was so slippery, There was no way I could drive safely that day. That snow storm is not my fault. A lot of people were not driving that day! The receptionist gave me a hard time. Turns out the unprofessional, rude, rude, receptionist and "unavailable" manager want money, money and do not care about patients (or the $350+$200 I paid 2 weeks before up front). The receptionist said they "are in business to make money". She could at least pretend she knows about patient care. She told me that every business charges for cancelled appointments. That is not true. Not for other health care providers. The only entrance without steps is a side entrance. You have to call to have someone let you in. Not a big problem with that. It's a steep enough hill that I had trouble with my walker without snow. That Friday with all the snow I couldn't even use my walker. I am looking for another dentist. PS - I was happy with the dentist. He answered my questions and explained. My follow-up appt. was to check the healing and I wanted to discuss an implant. These folks do NOT care about you only about the cost and how you are going to pay for it. Most uncaring and unprofessional people I have ever dealt with. After I wrote them a bad review on another website the receptionist contacted me back. Not to make it right and try and help me but to tell me I lied about the extra exam cost being $120 instead of the $110 they charge. The receptionist Jenny is one of the most rude and unprofessional people I have ever come across in the medical field. She sat on the phone telling me I lied about the cost of the exam and she never told me a cost. When I asked her what the cost was, she wouldn't respond. She just kept being so rude about the bad review I ended up hanging up on her. I looked on my old bill to see it was $110 and not the $120 I mentioned. If you need and or want a dentist to care about you and what is going on I would suggest looking somewhere else. If you want to get ripped off for basic dental needs go here. If not, I would suggest ANY other dentist in the city. I am unemployed and have no insurance and they wanted to charge me $110 for another exam that I had done a year ago when I had a different tooth extracted. Went to Aspen Dental and had the same thing done for under $200. Do some research before using them I promise you will find a cheaper place who will at least care about you and not be so worried about taking your money. read more

My daughter went here and for a tooth to get removed they charged her 600 plus dollars said she has no dental insurance. I call them they said the weekend staff don't know how to do the billing and if my insurance pays then they will reimburse me. This is crazy not to know how do do billing on the weekend. And they only do high tech X-ray and that's not covered by any insurance so patients must pay that out of pocket. I would never go to this emergency dentists again. If you would like to avoid being duplicatively charged and screwed out of your money, avoid this place at all costs. I have been awaiting a refund for a large amount that I paid out of pocket based on the billing employee's inaccurate estimation of what my insurance would cover. Even though I showed her the correct percentages directly from my insurance policy, she insisted that she had to charge me the amount she came up with and assured me that I would be refunded the difference if insurance picked up more. Lo and behold, my insurance indeed picked up more and has paid them for an amount I have already paid. I am now awaiting a refund for this amount for two months. I have been given the run around every time I call, been told that corporate would send me a check by several dates that have came and went, and employees whom I've spoken to never seem to know the contact information for corporate or even the NAME of the corporate office so that I can contact them myself. The office manager never seems to be "in". I was given an email address to contact corporate and that email has also gone unanswered. It is absolutely reprehensible that this business can collect twice the payment on their services and is obviously in no rush to return the overpayment if they plan on returning it at all. It's especially corrupt when you consider that patients who can't afford to pay their balance would be charged interest to pay off their debt, while this business gets to keep my money, interest free, for a seemingly indefinite amount of time. read more
