I have been seeing her for years and she is always on top of my health care needs. I came to her after having a bad experience with my prior nephrologist and she has never let me down. I have polycystic kidney disease and it can be challenging in so many ways. She is the perfect doctor to help me manage everything that comes with this horrible disease. The office staff is helpful as well. All I have to do is call and they assist me with appointments, labs, questions, or anything that I need. Eastern Nephrology in Greenville is wonderful and I recommend them to anyone needing great healthcare.

I wasn't happy with her reasoning prior to surgery she agreed to fix it but did not. After surgery I could tell my shoulder wasn't right. She told me it was arthritis and she could not help me even though it was popping and causing me extreme pain. A second opinion at Duke immediately found that the should was completely torn and would a complete re due. The Dr. At Duke fixed the shoulder and bicep. Stay away from Boyette period!!

My experience with this practice has been extremely disappointing…read more I initially saw Monique Lee in urgent care following a work-related dog bite injury to my hand. At the time, I was experiencing increasing swelling, pain, and concerns about the condition of my wound. During that visit, I had to specifically ask about removing the sutures so the wound could drain. I left the visit without being referred to the emergency room despite expressing concerns about the worsening condition of my hand. Later that same day, I presented to the emergency room because my condition continued to worsen. I was ultimately admitted to the hospital for about a week, underwent two hand surgeries, and was treated for a severe bacterial infection. Following my hospitalization, I required approximately 28 days of IV ertapenem therapy through a PICC line. Given the severity of the infection and the extensive treatment that followed, I believe the seriousness of my condition was underestimated during my urgent care visit. My most recent experience was equally frustrating. I arrived for my scheduled annual primary care appointment with Dr. Shandal Emanuel and was informed that I would not be seen due to an outstanding balance related to my workers' compensation claim. The balance remains unresolved because of an ongoing workers' compensation billing issue. I have been instructed by the workers' compensation carrier not to pay anything out of pocket while the matter is being reviewed, yet I have not been provided clear guidance on how to resolve the bill or confirmation that I would be reimbursed if I paid it myself. Despite explaining this situation, I was turned away from my appointment and denied routine medical care. During my conversation with the office staff, I was told that the doctor would not receive payment unless I paid the bill myself. While I understand the office's desire to be paid, I do not believe it is appropriate to place that responsibility on a patient who is actively involved in an unresolved workers' compensation claim and has been instructed not to pay out of pocket. I understand medical offices have billing policies. However, turning away an established patient over a disputed workers' compensation balance while providing no clear path toward resolution is unacceptable. Between my experience with urgent care, a hospitalization that included two surgeries and nearly a month of IV antibiotics, and being denied a scheduled annual appointment over an unresolved workers' compensation bill, I have lost confidence in this practice and will be seeking care elsewhere.

Word of mouth is always the best way to find a doctor. Besides having Dr. Emanuel as the primary doctor, there are two PAs and both are excellent. Wayne Tamborelli is one of the most hardworking and empathetic PAs I've had the pleasure of seeing. Depending on the time of day, you may have to wait, but most times, it's not more than 15 minutes. They are up-to-date and their "bedside manner" is excellent as well. I've been going to see them since they opened and have always gotten the answers I needed. We are fortunate to have such a facility and doctors in Nashville.

He feel as though he is constantly being recorded by patients and this is because he know he is not a person to be trusted! He removed an ingrown toenail of mine which he completely messed my toe up and this was also confirmed by a certified podiatrist that the surgery was not done properly! When I went in today to address my concerns with oquin he became very defensive and rude, I asked him to close the door to the exam room I was In due to him talking loudly and discussing my personal health information out loud, he at first told me NO he wasn't going to close the door! after I got loud and disrespectful back with him he then quickly closed the door! That was very unprofessional of him and according to other reviews I am not the first patient he's done like this! Oquinn is very sneaky and flawed, this is why, with all of his new patients he Will constantly try to get them to write a positive review about him and leave it online before they get a chance to see his true red face colors! I am glad I waited to write a review until his authentic character finally showed its UGLY face! BEWARE of this man and even more weary of the so called good reviews on him because I bet you 100% they are false or are from patients he harassed about writing them like he tried doing with me!
