We had a dead battery. AAA said help would arrive in an hour. The service person called to say he would be there in 10 minutes, & he actually arrived in 10 minutes! He charged our battery, then tested our system: our 6 1/2 year old battery was only functioning at 10%. It was drivable, but should be replaced soon. He told us he had a battery in his truck for our car, & he even waited while I called Auto Zone to compare prices - he was less expensive, so we had him replace the battery on the spot. I called AAA for help, I explained to them that I needed a regular type of tow truck, not a flatbed to get me out of a ditch, but the front right wheel needed to be slightly lifted first to avoid damage to my car. The first company they sent which was Emerine's Towing. They had only a flat bed with them, and when I explained to them what the problem was, they said they didn't get any info from AAA about the need for a lift. The guy was irritated with me right away and said, lady, do you want help or not? I told him yes but wanted to avoid damage by just dragging the car out without first lifting the right wheel. He looked at the car then he said he can't do it, and when I questioned why, he said very rudely, I'm not the one who drive my car into a ditch, lady. I told him that was very rude, and he got more agitated with me. I felt like this man treated me with total disrespect so after a few more snide remarks from him, I told him I was calling AAA and did not want him to touch my car. He said "Do you f...ing want me to help you or not. I told him no again and that I was calling AAA. He then said fine I'm leaving. I asked his name he said Josh, but when I asked his last name he said I'm not giving you that. I thought they left so I got on the phone to AAA and about 5 mins later the guy was knocking on my window, I opened it and he then said we can do the job. I said no because he was treating me too badly and I didn't trust him. Irritated again, he said look lady I'm trying to apologize. I found that to be a pretty bad way to apologize but did not even want to deal with him, so I just said no you can't touch my car. Emerines towing finally left. After getting AAA to send another tow truck company, the new guy did exactly what was needed and caused no damage to the car. He had a very nice disposition and explained courteously what he was going to do to get it out. I had to use Emerines towing once in the past, and they weren't very friendly then either, but nothing compared to how unprofessional this driver Josh was. I will never use them again, and you shouldn't either, if you don't want to be bullied into damaging your car. read more

Absolutely horrible! Granted a eta is just that but no update when it's not met. I call to check and come to find out they scheduled my tow with someone who's shift doesn't even start for 2 hours! No wonder my eta wasn't met! Then when that driver calls off your place in line is now the back and you have yo wait how much longer?! Horrible way of doing business. Called AAA at 730PM waited until 2AM before a tow truck finally arrived. The tow truck driver could barely drive driving all over the road. Will never use this company again. Called this place so many times was told an hour was then told after two hours hea on the way was told by aaa manager 30 minutes. Got to the point where nobody would pick up the phone. Finally then got a hold of another person who said he was 45 minutes out. Dude didn't come for HOURS IN 35 DEGREE WEATHER.​ read more

Jessica W. was such a blessing to me, while I was stranded by my car and AAA. Jessica was so helpful and an asset to the company. I was stranded waiting for AAA to send me a towing truck. They first tried to get a company four hours away. They called and refused to come get me. AAA then never replaced that tow. I had called them again where I requested a second dispatch. After 25 min. I called AAA the 3rd time and they said it was sent to Emerine's Towing. That is when I called Emerine's directly and spoke with Jessica. She advised me that she told AAA that she didn't have any trucks at the moment and it would be awhile. She told me how long the wait might be. I waited for awhile and figured out that my boyfriend would take the chance and drive the car home, instead of waiting. I spoke with Jessica 3x as we were driving home. She made sure we were safe and kept the AAA call on file until she knew we were home. During this entire time AAA never contacted me and never sent any text updates. It was only because of Jessica that I knew what to expect. She was very nice and super helful. Thank you!!!! read more

Came to my house to pull my truck off the ice but managed to get his own truck stuck in the snow. Had to call his mate to come get him out of the snow - whilst the driver was swearing and complaining the snow was deep - then after 2 hours left without even attempting to pull my truck free. I had to call for another towing company who couldn't help me due to the first guy being in the way and they got called to an emergency. Do NOT use this company. They destroyed our ploughed driveway, the grass under the snow and couldn't help me at all. The driver was really rude, useless and completely unprofessional. read more
