They definitely hastened my loved ones death and in the end we received no support. In fact the rude nurse skipped out quickly without answering our questions & the incompetent caregiver that was supposed to come for us to have a little rest canceled at the last minute. Before you sign with them carefully search your soul. Im sure you'll have a more peaceful experience without Tidewells help. I know that my deceased loved one was unhappy with them and I surely regret our decision to use Tidewell everyday!

When I tell you they take care of everything they do, including the family. The representative Kathy, at Sarasota Memorial handled the transportation and even contacted the Red Cross to assist my nephew, who is in the Navy, get home on leave. (His commanding officer told him he has never seen an emergency leave be done so fast and so organized). Tidewell took care of getting a hospital bed for us and all the things we need to make sure Dad is comfortable and free from pain. Melinda, his nurse is available 24/7 by phone and is a great liaison for us to the Dr. When we need medication it is delivered within 24 hours by Fedex. Then there is Rosa Hayes, our CNA, she comes 5 days a week. Rosa has become part of our family. She is so kind and gentle with Dad. She makes sure he is comfortable and clean and is so friendly and kind to us. She is so wonderful and it is obvious she loves her job. I just can't begin to give her enough praise. Tidewell even arranged to have a volunteer to sit with Dad for a couple of hours so we could go out for a little outing. Thank you so much Tidewell by making a stressful situation a little easier.

All of our vehicles are cleaned daily and regularly maintained to provide a comfortable professional ride during the transport. Family members or caregivers may ride along during the trip when requested at the time of scheduling. I suffered a closed head injury and spinal injuries, all documented by MRI reports, and I still deal with the effects today. I was working as a hospice RN when I was hit at a red light by a massive box truck going 50 mph. The vehicle was completely crushed from the back--I'm lucky to be alive. I went to this facility for physical therapy through workers' comp, but my experience with Jean was deeply upsetting. Her medical notes were, in my opinion, condescending, using phrases like "overly dramatic" when I described my pain to professionals I trusted. Worse, she signed off on assessments as if she had been present when she hadn't. When I confronted her about it over the phone, she laughed at me, mocked me, and repeated that I was being "overly dramatic." I broke down in tears. Just three hours later, I suffered a near-fatal brain bleed--eight weeks after my accident. I would never recommend this facility to anyone, as I believe Jean's callousness and lack of empathy caused unnecessary emotional distress when I was at my most vulnerable
