When I am not there with Mom, I feel secure that she is in good hands at The Inn. I think the care and commitment to the community starts with the staff who clearly feel a personal investment in their work. The same director has been there nearly 20 years! At the same time, the residents are engaged and active in a way we did not see at any other place we looked, which was all over the North East US and in Florida. At Aston Gardens the residents are up and about, engaged in arts and music inside, or outside gardening or playing bocce or by the pool. The residents welcomed my mother with little notes and invitations to join them at a meal or a walk. The facility is beautiful and there are so many opportunities to explore new interests and keep fit. As examples: multiple residents, on their own initiative, asked me how they could best welcome my mother, as they remember being "new." Also, the saleswoman we worked with continued to visit and spend time with my mother and send us updates, long after the contract was signed and her role was completed. They check in with me (the daughter) in a friendly way that makes me feel like a member of the community too. Thank you!

Please do not even apply…read moreto this company, the calls, texts, and emails alone are borderline harassing, just overwhelming. First shift I booked and was "confirmed" with them, I showed up & the facility had never confirmed me and didn't have a need but I was allowed to stay for 3 hours because they felt bad that I had shown up, otherwise no compensation was arranged on Coastal's behalf. That was a horrible first impression, nevertheless, I said I'd try them again. Months later, I booked my 2nd shift with them & was "confirmed" (that word again). Made it to the facility an hour away from my home & the same thing happened! I called Coastal to find out where was I to go, Dan told me to just wait around until staff told me where to go & that 6 ppl from Coastal Care were in that facility this morning. The D.O.N. showed up, I was never confirmed, they hadn't even put me in the computer for a login to be able to work there and I was not allowed to stay at all. Called Coastal and Dan said they'd pay me for 1 hour for my time. ONE hour! $32. It took me that to even get there and another to get me home. PLEASE don't waste your time and gas with this company. There are SO many other staffing agencies to choose from, steer clear of Coastal Care Staffing unless you want your time wasted AND not valued at all!

The pool has been closed for several months like at least 7-8 months, with no updates or communication. Trash is always scattered everywhere or piled up at the compactors. The manager whoever sits in the front right office when you walk into the leasing office with the short bob hair cut, not Stephanie (Stephanie has always been kind and understanding) but the other lady has just not been very warm or welcoming at all that's why I don't even know her name because she's never even introduced herself or speaks when you see her around property. All the way up to the end of her life, Rus was in constant communication with my entire family. He would proactively reach out to my father, my siblings, and I to provide updates, make suggestions, and to communicate with healthcare providers on behalf of my mom. There was no doubt that Rus and Rita had only the best intentions when caring for our loved one. They took our difficult family situation and acted as if it was their own.
