Delicious Pinot Noirs! Only Pinots here. Emeritus was on the Pinot list with 90+ points and luckily for us, it's right around the corner to my mother in laws house. She got me their Pinot (Wesley Reserve 2017) for my birthday last year and it was good, we didn't have time to make it out until recently. Pinots were delicious. We especially like the Dons Block and La Combette. They also have every day Pinots - the Hallberg Reserve, good price if club members. Which my MIL joined! So now we'll be ordering more! A lot of their Pinots are lighter and has a nice vanilla silky finish and notes of strawberries. We're a fan! Can't wait to return in the summer when we can enjoy a bottle outside.

We stopped into this place on our way to our Vineyard tour and was absolutely amazed by how delicious the rosé was! The person who helped us with our wine selection Megan was super knowledgeable and super friendly. Overall a great person with just lovely energy. I highly recommend this place and highly recommend having the wine tasting.

What a lovely tasting room and tasty wines. This was my first visit hosted by a wine club member. I can see why they love this place. The view of the vineyard is calming as is the entire environment of their modern tasting room. Their wines are lovingly made and tasty. Their rose "ruby" was perhaps the best I've had from our Sonoma Valley (and have had many), and their Halberg Ranch Pinot was fantastic. Definately worth a visit!

I was so excited to check out this winery with my parents after months of seclusion and isolation. The location and winery won this a rating of five stars - it's gorgeous and airy - plenty of space. We were seated immediately in a premier location. Our server (I think that's what they are called - no offense if not) was friendly and knowledgeable and dealt with my ridiculous father's ranting about his knowledge of wineries very well. We tasted five wines: one rose and four pinots. All but one were just okay. I really didn't love any of them! And after it was all poured out, I found like enjoyed the cheapest and most distributed Pinot over the expensive reserve ones. Dropped the rating to four stars. As we enviously looked at our neighbors table, I realized they were served a white wine! I asked our server if I could try what they were tasting and she informed me that it was for wine club members only. Lame. Big time. So I asked her boss when he came out to check on us and like a good service man he said sure. Out comes a fantastic glass of Pinot noir blanc. I've never heard or seen of such a thing and I was hooked! I offered to buy four bottles (by the way, tasting here is an exorbitant $25/person for barely one regular glass of wine) because they offer to wave the tasting fee if you buy four bottles (which I would also have to ship to CO!). The bar manager said no - only for wine club members!! Tell you what, I'm a member of four different clubs so I wasn't going to join this one with the mediocre tastings and the exclusive selling. I was really disappointed in this place. One more thing, I grew up in the north bay and never once have heard of this place. I was really looking forward to sharing my awesome experience - which may have been so easily rectified if they sold me what I wanted to buy. Fail.

If you are in the Sonoma valley, definitely make this winery one your stops! Specializing in Pinot Noir -- all the wine at Emeritus Vineyards is dry-farmed and estate grown. Beautiful grounds and friendly staff. We decided to become wine club members!

I am a big pinot noir fan I like a Burgundian style of wine The Halberg Ranch (estate) wine is my favorite my second favorite is the Ruby Ruby which isn't 100% pinot noir rather it's a Rose with a touch of pinot. In any case they keep me coming back for more. The winemaker is impressive the tasting room is feels open and lux in a west county sort of way and the tasting room staff are knowledge interesting and eccentric just like I like'em. The proprietors daughter runs the show and she is quick and charming lots of love for this Sonoma County gem

Beautiful vineyard! It's the perfect place to sit outside with a Pinot Noir and enjoy a view of the vines. All the staff is so friendly and helpful.

Awesome beautiful place. Our host Mary was THE BEST. Ask for her. Wine was outstanding, ordered some to be shipped back home. First time at a vineyard and learned alot. Wish we had more time there. Views are stunning and place is beautiful.

Great way to start my Sunday!

In 2024 we received a shipment of wine where all the wine in the shipment was broken. In typical situations, wineries offer replacement of broken bottles, but Fog Crest was impossible to reach in spite of (literally) 50 phone calls and emails. Since I couldn't reach them, I canceled my subscription to their wine club. Flash forward a few months, they charge me another ~$500 on my credit card for wine, but never ship me any wine (in spite of the fact that I had already canceled online). Again, dozens of calls and emails, no answer and no response. Still trying. A few months after that, they charge me ANOTHER ~$500 on my credit card for wine, but don't ship that wine to me either. After probably 100 calls and emails, I finally talk to the wine club coordinator on the phone. She of course acknowledges my dozens of messages, and acknowledges my situation. She says she will replace the wine that was broken and figure out why they've been charging me for wine I haven't been receiving and make it right. But that she can't talk right now and she'd call me back with more information. That was a month ago. I've now called again dozens of times, and emailed. No response. Called and emailed the owner, no response. This is borderline criminal: $1,500 in charges for undelivered product, a non-existent customer service experience, and an online system so archaic that it doesn't process your cancelation and continues to charge you for product.

We joined their wine club in 2023 and was charged $420 all of 2024/25 for wine that they NEVER shipped. When I called to inquire about where the wine was, I was met with complete silence--multiple calls and messages went unanswered. After finally getting a call back, the person said they only called me back because "she saw we had called a lot in one day." That was the first red flag. She promised to credit my account and look into another charge that had been applied. It's been SEVEN days since that conversation, and STILL no credit, no updates, and no resolution. I've followed up with multiple calls, messages, and emails... NOTHING. At this point, it's clear that they don't care about their customers. I highly recommend staying far away from Fog Crest if you value your time and money. Total waste of both

We've heard a lot of stellar reviews for Iron Horse, so we were underwhelmed by our experience. Our host ended up forgetting us and started walking off with the other party when they finally showed up, and the guy we checked in with had to go tell him we were part of his group. I enjoyed the charcuterie box that comes with the tasting, albeit there was some moldy bits here and there. We got the harvest magnum experience ($90/person). I did enjoy the seating experience, the charcuterie box, and the mini impromptu tour everyone was given of the production. The wine itself was underwhelming for the price and as nothing stood out to us, we finished our tasting and didn't grab anything to go. As we weren't wine club members here, the host didn't pay us much attention. Worth trying once, maybe, to see if their wines are to your liking.
