They did a terrific tiling job on the wall. They creatively problem solved to successfully integrate the cabinets with an irregular wall indentation. The work site was kept clean throughout, and removed the debris. I love the outcome - it's a beautiful, working kitchen. Roca Mia worked started working before the COVID-19 state wide shutdown, but took care to provide me with a working kitchen before we locked down, and picked up the work again when we reopened at the appropriate phase. They complied with all the paperwork required by the co-op board and management company including the additional pandemic related safety plans. Communication & logistics planning throughout was excellent, and they were a pleasure to deal with. I highly recommend them.

The projects were finished within a week and the crew obviously had the experience they purport to have. I was particularly pleased with their work in the bathroom, which looked a bit shabby and whose design was outdated. It now has new cabinets and ceramic tile and gives off the more modern look I was hoping for. Bottom line: affordable prices and quality work. Would definitely hire them again!

We hired them to open up the first floor of our Cape Cod, and they completely helped me re-imagine the space taking down several walls to create a true open-concept layout. Along the way they installed new hardwood floors across the entire first floor, redid our shower, replaced both toilets, moved our washer and dryer, and prepped all the groundwork for our kitchen renovation. The craftsmanship throughout was outstanding. The part that really earned our trust is they delivered on what they promised AND THEN SOME! They finished within the estimate they quoted, and they were remarkably fast and efficient without ever cutting corners. Glen and his crew went above and beyond at every turn. His entire team was helpful, friendly, and easy to work with from the first day to the last. I would name them all here because I've gotten to know them personally, but I'll let you experience it first hand! They've done smaller scale plumbing, electrical, moved and converted a door (including the framing, advice on conversion to a pocket door, drywall, finish), extended a roof and did the gutter, fixed an improperly installed sink, installed a murphy bed, hung a large screen and blackboard, ... At this point it's hard to remember what all they've done. We like that they will be thoughtful of our needs and come up with ideas we did not think of ourselves. Examples: While fixing and reinforcing a roof access they advised us on adding a lock to the hatch to make sure that nobody can get in from the outside. While removing a wall and moving the related electrical they rerouted one of the outlets into the cellar which is missing enough outlets.

The duct is saturated with excess water, I sent the owner Adam multiple videos, voicemails and texts all went unanswered. I even went as far to tell him I would pay for the repair, just get it fixed. Which makes sense as to why it never worked right and why Alama stopped returning my messages. I would never post a negative review, but Alamas negligence cost me a lot of money and wasted time.
