We made an appointment for him to come out to our house in Wynnewood and look and give me some ideas with an estimate. It may not mean much to some, but he showed up exactly on time! Yes, on time, without a 2 hour window that many companies subject us to. In fact I saw him sitting in his truck out front for a few minutes before he rang the bell. He looked around the house and took copious notes. When he returned he showed me a number of ideas that could really make a difference. My wife and I had some specific ideas as to colors and locations of flowering plants and Alex incorporated them into his plan. He put down stone as a border in a number of places, planted a number of Azaleas and Rhododendrons, he suggested a Crepe Myrtle surrounded by 5 beautiful little accent flowering plants. We had a bit of drainage location problem and he was able to suggest a drainage system that his men implemented making a much more attractive and efficient system. He also included Spring Clean Up and mulching in his plan. He gave us an ala carte proposal that we could pick and choose from. His pricing was very reasonable and his execution of his plan was completed in one day. His men are knowledgable and good technicians and they clean up everything when they are done. I have no hesitation recommending Pat Calabrese & Sons Landscaping with 5 stars out of 5. Alex and his men were a pleasure to work with and I couldn't be happier with the work they did!! Our house in Wallingford sits on property that is entirely surrounded by a variety of plants,…read morebushes and trees, all of which were here when we moved in twenty years ago. Due to the thick overgrowth of vegitation, the only reasonable way in is through the driveway. Deer, foxes, and rabbits, regard our back and side yards as essentially a protected meadow upon which they can rest unseen from humans in the surrounding neighborhood. Overtime the growth of vegitation, weeds and all, far outpaced our personal ability to keep the property looking well-manicured. John Kelly sent a crew of four men who worked solidly for two days clearing overgrowth, weeds, etc., enough to fill five large truck loads with debris. My wife and I are thrilled with the results and moreover exceedingly happy to report how professional it was all accomplished. The Hollywood Landscape crew not only did exactly what we asked, but they also shared their expertise in making several useful suggestions for even further improvements. We plan to have them back twice each year to maintain what we now regard as surroundings that are beautiful to look at and truly enjoy for the first time in 15 years.

They are reasonably priced, especially for lawn cutting and snow removal. Most importantly, they are RELIABLE. There is nothing worse than being trapped in your house because a snow plow company failed to show up at your property. That isn't the case here. Hollywood always makes certain that we have access to our driveway and the street. They will often do a preliminary plow mid-way through a storm and then a final cleanup after the snow stops. They will also arrive overnight and salt our driveway so that we aren't driving on a sheet of ice in the morning. I highly recommend them.

Evan coordinated removing the sheds and rocks, building a dry-well to fix irrigation issues, installing a patio and sod and building a fence. There were also some permitting issues that required altering plans and delays due to terrible rain storms and they worked around all of these issues well. Over all it was a great experience. I'll be hiring them back for seasonal cleanups.

Also had a patio put in this summer and my lawn was torn up really bad by the bobcat and other machinery for pouring the concrete. I wanted some sod to get it back up to speed quickly and Evan came thru again! Got it all done in one day, and the sod looks great!
