Love this place. Just so good and authentic. The staff is always nice. My favorite is the quesadilla with half carne asada and half shredded pork. Man it's so freaking good. They are even nice enough to add lettuce and cheese to my tacos which just makes them perfect. read more

Y'all. Do. Not. Sleep. On. This. Place. We bought one of each of the taco flavors and I wouldn't be able to pick one as a favorite. They were all very flavorful and delicious: the green salsa was good too! We also got the kids cheese quesadilla meal and wow. What an absolute steal. The cheese was unbelievably gooey and so perfect!! Plus you got a good amount of yummy rice and beans with it. We ordered pick up and the food was ready quickly and was still hot and fresh by the time we got home. This is an authentic place and if you don't appreciate that type of Mexican restaurant, don't bother. If you love that type, GET YOUR BUTT HERE ASAP. Loved this place and loved the street tacos! I usually get carnitas and asada. Better than average carnitas and above average asada! Would just get asada next time. 2 different kinds of red and green sauce. All the fixings you could want. Small market inside as well. Every day from 3 PM to 8 PM (close) they do 4 street tacos and a drink for $10. Nice lady who took our order. This will be our new street taco go-to location since it is near our home. read more

This place is legit! A small place kinda out of no where but so glad we came in for lunch! Their street tacos are delish!! We ordered the belly tacos, head tacos and the lady was so sweet that took our order we knew they did the mocajete but she said usually on the weekend they prepare that but made it for us anyways! Really authentic and I'm surprised it was actually delicious, I give this place a thumbs up! You have a little salsa bar on the side of the cashier to the left and the salsas are delish! Make sure to top your tacos how you like before eating it! FYI. They do have luenga tacos but it's not on the menu on the wall. Will have to give that a try as well next time were in. We were looking for a new restaurant to try. We found Emilia's online and tried them out. This isn't the standard restaurant if you want a sit down meal. You place your order then wait for your name to be called to pickup your food. It was a great experience. The front counter people were friendly and informative. We told them this was our first visit. The food was good! My wife is quite picky, especially with Mexican food. After the first bite she was impressed and said she would go back again. We each had a burrito. Hers was beef and mine was barbacoa. Nice size portion. We'll be back again and we highly recommend this restaurant. All of the people, front counter, food preppers, cleaning people were all friendly and nice. read more

The barbacoa burrito was really good. It was very filling and had good size to it. The issue I had is I ordered a torta with barbacoa. I got the combo because I like Mexican rice and beans; however the rice was clumped together and crunchy like it had been sitting too long and dried out. This beans were wet and runny. They have a good sized salsa bar but nothing is labeled and the pico, onions and "fresh" veggies had all began to brown and shrivel up some due to lacking freshness. The crunch was missing from the pico as well due to the same reason. They give one free refill and then a dollar per refill after that. They were full of people and soda is maybe .05 in costs for actual soda. If it is for the horchata or the hibiscus water then keep it in back and have the staff refill it. The jugs were full of ice and pretty sure that it isn't made fresh. I say these things because the place didn't look very clean and the kitchen looked very messy and disheveled. I always think if you make burritos the extra ingredients need to be listed to the side so if you are allergic to or do not like certain things then you can ask for it off. So my negatives come from everything except my burrito. It was very tasty and the barbacoa was very good. I will try more things next time I get my hair cut and am that way. read more

Stopped in for lunch and I'll be back. Love it. This is the pastor burrito which is spicy pork - not too spicy though. Burrito is filling and there is plenty of meat, cheese, rice, and beans. I played it safe this time but I'm dying to try the beef tounge or pork skins next time. You know it's authentic when there is beef tounge, pork skins, and belly stomach on the menu. The street tacos look amazing too. This is off the beaten path but is worth the drive if you are in the roy/west haven area. Luckily I'm not too far away. Reminds me of a taco cart, restaurant style. Definitely my go to Mexican restaurant!! I always come here to get a torta of asada and two Street tacos of Barbacoa and it is amazing !! The asada is so perfect it's not too salty not too plain!! The Barbacoa tases like if they make it on a slow cooker doesn't really taste like Barbacoa but it is bomb!!!!! Really recommend this place !! Also barely yesterday I decided to get a side of rice and beans and that was the best rice and beans I have ever had !!! Soooo good and so authentic! 10/10 read more

Emilia's can be found in a strip mall in the industrial area West of Ogden. It is not a glamorous location of restaurant, it is a bit run down inside but seemed clean enough They have a straight forward menu with Burritos, tacos, quesadillas, tortas, etc at reasonable prices. Being my first time I wanted to try a variety of the meats so I opted for four tacos including Asada, Pastor, Carnitas and Chile Verde. All but the Chili Verde were on the dry side and they had minimal flavor without adding condiments from the salsa bar. Each of the tacos were served on a pair of corn tortillas which were thicker and more flavorful than other taco joints. The Verde was meaty and very tasty, not too spicy. The tacos at $1.50 each (for the small) are a reasonable value. I would return for the Chile Verde which I will probably try in burrito form to get a larger portion. read more

Iv always seen this place was finally curious enough to walk in. Ordered quesabirria tacos & burritos. Birria was fine rate it a 7/10 there was just more cheese than meat. I'm not one to complain about too much cheese but this taco was just pure cheese. Consume was good 8/10 The burritos? One asada one chicken. Both dry & bland 3/10. The green salsa had this pepino taste to it didn't really care for it. The red one was pretty good. Was it worth what I paid? Absolutely not lol. Overall 7/10. read more

We went out of our way to try Emilias out because of the coupon. I don't understand how Restaurant.com can have a listing for them and they not know anything about it. I have contacted Restaurant.com and chose to warn others diners here on Yelp -- although it pains me to give a 1-star rating for an experience that didn't involve their food. Emilias should also get the apparently fraudulent (?) listing removed from Restaurant.com. If I see that they do, I will remove this negative review. read more

This place is amazing. I ordered the carnitas enchiladas and my sister got a child verde burrito. Their mole sauce is excellent and the rice is some of the best I've had anywhere. The refried beans were good but nothing special. My sister said the burrito was the second best she ever had. They offer a salsa bar where I made the mistake of trying the one I thought was a guacamole blend, well it may have had guac in it but it was also extremely spicy. So if you like the heat, you'll love their salsa bar. I will most definitely be back!!!! read more

Ordered 3 tacos to go, got home and it was tortillas and meat, no lettuce or cheese. Called them and they told that's how there tacos come! Really, lol. A taco isn't a taco without lettuce and cheese. Also ordered green chili. It came as meat and water with onions. There was no pork or green chili's. Horrible restaurant...
