Stopped in to order a couple of bacon breakfast burritos to go. Was quoted 25 mins shortly after opening and found that lots of people call to order for their burritos (noted!). The burritos are hefty and solid and wrapped in a delicious hand made tortilla. The green salsa is better than the orange/red (but they were very skimpy on the green salsa). They could use something fresh like pico de gallo inside since it was very potato heavy. Overall, very happy with the burritos. read more

Everything about this place is cute and clean. Rosa and the staff are so kind n nice to talk to. I had the special Caldo de Albondigas (Mexican meatballs soup.) Very mild but completely flavorful with large pork/beef meatballs, corn, potato, carrot n collard greens. If you never had this before n they're serving it do your soul a favor and order it. So, we finally got to go to this restaurant. Well, it is more of a burrito shop than a restaurant. This is a small place with about 27 seats. Service is straight forward, walk up order your food pay then go sit and wait. Needless to say, they want their tip upfront. One of my big no-no's. For the most part the food is very good I had the huevos ranchro and my wife had a burrito. The burritos are giant and she took half of it home. Mine was so-so. Eggs were overcooked. Their small potato's served as a side are great. You can watch the staff making the tortilla's in the back. Yes they are made fresh daily and the also sell them. They are about 16 inches in diameter. They offer two types of salsa one hit one mile. Both are good while the service is ok and the food good, five stars no! We will be going back. read more

This is a tiny cafe in Ogden, fairly near the Salt Lake City airport. There is outside and inside sitting. The interior feels like an abuela kitchen, with a ton of cute figurines and a lovely sign that invites customers to talk to one another. Loved it! The menu is small but mighty! The burritos are large and can feed two if your hunger is just average. Rosa's Cafe delivers in flavor! All burritos can come with salsa roja, verde or both on top. Very flavorful, perfectly spicy. The burritos are full, my favorite was the picadillo (husband had the Colorado). Highly recommend Rosa's Cafe if you are looking for authentic, flavorful and potentially spicy burrito! Have I really not rated this place yet?! Rosa's Cafe is excellent! I absolutely love their chorizo breakfast burrito smothered with chili. Because the red and green are delicious but very different from one another, I always get "Christmas " which is half red and half green. The Colorado one wasn't my favorite but could have been my taste, green sauce one was very tasty and the bacon breakfast one was awesome even heated up the next morning. It took me three years but I finally managed to sneak up here from Arizona for another chili Colorado burrito. It was just as good as I remember too. Rosa was working as usual and boy is she ever funny. We laughed about this Arizona boys ears sweating from the spice. I still ordered it un-smothered as that would have been just too much, but even so it was just kicky enough that my lips were tingling by the time I was done. Man that is just one yummy burrito. One of Ogden's best! We went to Rosa's while trying some of the top rated restaurants in Ogden, and wow! It was deserving of the praise. Don't be taken back by the tiny space when you walk in, great things come in small packages in this case. Wanting to sample a variety of the menu, I got a ham and bacon breakfast burrito and my wife ordered a smothered Christmas burrito. The two meat breakfast burrito was amazing and their Chile (salsa/hot sauce) was the best I've had at a restaurant to date. The Christmas burrito was a half Chile verde and half Chile Colorado. Both of us struggled to pick which half was better, because both were that good! We've had our fair share of good Mexican food, and this is right at the top. This place is amazing. Friendly owners and service, and incredible food. I love the smothered style burrito whenever I go west to ski, but this is by far the best I've had anywhere. We visited Rosa's after traveling on the FrontRunner. We were looking for a good Mexican food place to have lunch and chose Rosa's. The Cafe is small but has an inviting feel inside. Rosa gave us samples of the different sauces and helped us choose our food. The food is simply delicious. I've been here twice now and each time the food was not only delicious but satisfying - not something that is easy I'll found. Rosa is a wonderful lady willing to take care of you to ensure you have the best experience. She is humble despite having some of the best Mexican food I've tried. Waited only about 10-15 minutes on a busy Saturday afternoon. Parking was hard to find because there are a lot of signs that say no parking nearby. The flavor of the food was truly delicious and full of really good taste. Don't be afraid to try it smothered! That's my favorite. read more

The burrito was falling apart, thin and watery, not the best for being in a car. No beans in the burrito. Was more like a tamale. Would've been forgivable except the tortilla tasted like it had traces of cleaning product in it and the sauce was extremely spicy. (If Cholula is a 1 and ghost pepper sauce is a 10 this would be a solid 7) Seems like a nice family owned joint but don't recommend the food. read more

Simply fabulous! I was craving some something hearty for breakfast and since the other two places I have been having for breakfast seemed to have misplaced their customer service the last couple of times, I went into the yelp well for yet another miracle. And found it. Rosas makes me think of every hardworking Mexican family restaraunt back home. And the food was absolutely excellent! The huevos rancheros portions were good with good homemade beans. Oh the beans! Good home made beans are a treasure. The ranchero sauce was spicy and test and the eggs were cooked just like I asked. The staff was friendly and kind and attentive and busy. It's seems to be a place for regulars since everyone but me was greeted by name. I hope I can move into that category!! A fifth star is in the making with a few more trips I am thinking ;) read more

My go-to is the Chili Verde Burrito w/ the habanero salsa drizzled on top! It is the most delicious green chile I've ever had! It has a great flavor & it has a kick of heat, w/ the added habanero salsa that gives a tingling sensation around your lips after you are finished!
