When I left the Buc-cee's in Temple Texas I received a low tire pressure warning almost immediately. Pulled into a local gas station and inspected my tire, I had a nail. I went to a local Walmart and they refused to touch my vehicle based on where the nail was. Frustrated I searched for a mom and pop shop and came across Emilios. The gentleman Juan inspected my tire and said that he should be able to repair it with no problem. In less than 20 minutes I'm back on the road. He was quick, the repair was solid and it was right at $20 for a flex patch. I made it to my destination safely. Emilios was a hero that day and I am grateful I came across this shop. read more

There is nothing in the world quite like a little serendipity, and I found mine here. I'm pretty sure that I blew a tire well before I got north of Waco, and thanks to the idea of run-flat tires, for a time I actually couldn't tell the difference. All of that changed about the time I came rolling up I-35 through Abbott, and the thudding flapping sound of fraying rubber beating the undercarriage of my ride made ignoring the problem impossible. I had to pull off the road, and immediately, and I was in what seemed to be the middle of nowhere. I roll off the highway and about a half mile down the road the very first driveway I come to is Emilio's -- I kid you not. When something like this happens you have to feel lucky, and boy did I. I roll up, walk in, explain that it looks like I blew a tire and ask if he has something that would fit my car. Emilio says "sure" and tells me how much it'll be. That would be $45, and within five minutes he was working on the change. It was easily the best forty five bucks I've spent in ages, and a short time later I was back on the road with my new wheel in place. Oh, and he also diagnosed an alignment issue (which was the reason that the other tire went south in the first place). I wish Abbott was closer, as I'd definitely have him do more work for me. At the very least, if I'm ever headed up 35 and things are looking shaky, I know to keep my eyes up the horizon for a helping hand. read more

Daniel was an absolute life saver today and I can't express enough gratitude. My daughter was driving toward Waco today and a tire blew. It was her first ever situation like this and was obviously very anxious. But I called and Daniel was ready to go in minutes. He was super professional, put my daughter at ease and was able to replace her tire on the side of the road. She was sidelined for literally less than an hour and 15 mins and was on her way with a new tire. All done for an extremely reasonable price. My friend and I were coming from Dallas and headed to New Braunfels for the weekend and we noticed a strange sound coming from under the car. She had broken her bumper previously and we were pretty sure it was that. So we took her car to Emilio's Auto and Tire Shop and explained the problem. They were so friendly and we waited no more than 15 minutes total. In the end, they charged us a fair price and we were on our way! Then, it broke again. So we went back and told them and they immediately fixed it. Also, they brought us the actual part to show us what was wrong and they explained what was happening. Bad service, I went on vacation to Oklahoma from McAllen, Texas and on the way back my truck broke down near Abbot, contacted Emilo's auto shop for assistance. He said he would fix my truck for me so I came back to McAllen. I payed him $1000.00 through cash app the fees he was charging me. Fast forward to now, its been almost three month and my truck is not fixed , through out all this time I have been contacting him and he gives me the runaround that my truck is not ready that they have ordered the wrong parts, that the parts wont where not put correctly, just a bunch of nonsense. Now I called him 10/17/2019 and he said another part was broken??? He had one job to fix what needed to be fixed. So I told him can you please just put everything back together broken down and everything, and I will just go pick it up. He said well its been sitting here for a long time I am going to have to charge you how long it has been sitting here and its 20 dollars a day, wth! its not my fault its been sitting there and not getting worked on! If I could give this place no stars I would. We took our vehicle in to be fixed and it only temporarily was fixed for two weeks, before it went back to the way it was before we took it in. Emilio is not friendly and comes across as rude. He does not give you the impression he cares if he has your business or not.
