We rent and when we moved in six years ago it was already dripping grease, it was so gunked up (like, it was literally coming out of the light and fan switches). We hired cleaners when we first moved in but they looked at the hood and said it couldn't be done, so ever since we never bothered to clean it or look into getting it cleaned. I didn't mention the hood to the Magic Hands cleaners and assumed they would also skip it like the previous cleaners, so my jaw hit the floor when they showed it to me after they had finished the house. On the day of, she messaged me her ETA and arrived right on time. She and her team member helped return a unit that looked like it hadn't been cleaned in at least a year to a nearly new state. The floors were made spotless, cabinets were unstickified, blinds were cleaned, oil stains were removed from the kitchen, colorful mold was removed from the shower walls and floor, etc. I was genuinely amazed that they were able to clean the shower as well as they did!
