Carol Bui is the most talented massage therapist of the many I have seen. Suffering from jaw…read moreissues, headaches, and TMJ disorder leaves my head, jaw, and neck in a constant stiff state. The intra-oral massage was like nothing I'd ever experienced. It can be intense but Carol is so nurturing and thoughtful, constantly checking in on whether it's too much. She has a gift that can't necessarily be taught. You either are tuned into others or you're not. She definitely is, if you are able to experience her magic, I highly recommend it! Also, this suite has many thoughtful touches to ensure the guest is comfortable. I give this place 10 out of 5 stars.

I bought my sister a gift certificate of $180.00 for her birthday to enjoy a massage at Rapture…read more When she was filling out the form they asked her to provider her pronoun. This was not an optional question however it should be since its personal. She declined to answer the question online and by doing so could not complete the form. She went to Rapture in person on her appointment date to fill out any forms needed for the massage. She's been to spas before so she knows the routine is pretty straight forward when you're there. In this case however, it was not. While there she was told by a Rapture employee that she would have to answer the question and disclose her pronoun that she prefers. She explained to them that this is not necessary and that she doesn't feel comfortable disclosing this information to them or to anyone else for that matter. Rapture declined service due to this unnecessary, and what should be optional question to answer. They literally told her that they can't provide a massage service that has already been paid for through a gift certificate because she wouldn't disclose her pronoun preference. The employee also said this was required in case of an emergency. What emergency service would actually care or even ask what someones pronoun is? They don't. Furthermore, Rapture didn't even offer to refund the GC even though they weren't providing the service. The least they can do is provide a refund. That would be the descent thing to do. Not decline service and keep the money. Rapture, I have issued a charge back on to my credit card for services not provided.

This was my first adventure into craniosacral treatments so I was a bit skeptical. Amy was very…read moreprofessional and very nice immediately putting me at ease. She explained how the connective tissue in your body can become hard and unmoving and can cause many problems. For the treatment you lie on a table, she turns down the light and it's very quiet and soothing. I was so surprised when she said the treatment was over and it had been an hour. Interestingly enough she told me that the bones on one side of my head were stuck, didn't know they moved, but I had fallen and hit my head a few weeks prior to that. She also told me of two spots in my back that were very tight, one she could fix the other needed more work. I was amazed that both spots were ones where my back and neck have caused me problems. My upper back has felt amazing since she did the work. It's not inexpensive and our insurance doesn't pay for it but I firmly believe it's worth the money.

I was personally so impressed by the help she provided in treating my chronic scapular pain, that I brought my daughter (child) to her! Amy can work with all ages, across multiple conditions, and will work with you until the pain is gone or problem resolved. She is continually advancing her technique and education via continuing medical education and certifications in craniosacral work.
