I wasted so much money at a more commercial place and got nowhere. The minute my nurse practitioner walked in and heard me out I was floored. It has been a long time for me to feel like a normal person at a healthcare facility. I have a lot of issues and she took the time to listen to me and come up with a weight loss plan that would work best for me. I am losing weight & feeling so much better. To me this is life changing. The pricing is reasonable and obviously for the weight loss program you are not dealing with insurance so it can see pricey, but compared to other places it is not only worth every penny but successful. I felt like I was not just a number and each time I go in the staff is always wonderful. I recommend this clinic to everyone that is struggling with weight loss and needs guidance and help. 10/10 for me! I cannot sing praises enough about this facility, staff, and clinic as a whole. I was a patient of Dr. Marquette's office in 2024. In July 2024, after my pregnancy became high-risk, I was referred and transferred to Shands in Gainesville. At that point, I began requesting that my insurance claims be processed and the balance of my pre-payments refunded for services not rendered. Since September 2024, I have been calling the office regularly and have been told the same thing over and over--that everything is processed, and that I am simply waiting for Dr. Marquette to sign the reimbursement check. Nearly a year later, nothing has been resolved. Despite my patience and numerous attempts to work with the office, the reimbursement I am owed has not been issued. This lack of follow-through and accountability is extremely unprofessional. Patients should not have to spend months chasing down money that rightfully belongs to them. Unfortunately, my experience with this office has been one of unnecessary stress, lack of communication, and unfulfilled promises. I would caution anyone considering this office to be aware of how they handle financial matters.

In the meantime, I am waiting in their waiting room with no internet , no texts can be received or sent , no business can be run from your phone, your entire life & business is on hold until you can get out of that office and out of THAT complex ( 17th street Medical Plaza ). The waiting room was CHOCK FULL of LARGE pregnant women. The door was constantly being opened & closed..., but an hour & 1/2 of WAITING.. you stare at the wall or the ceiling ... it wasn't YOU ( meaning me ) that was going to be called to the back. I tried to send a message to my friend to tell them that I was unfortunately going to be late. That message was unable to be sent. The "failed to send" message showed up. There are patients, sitting in that waiting room, who MUST have their fully communications with their husband & especially with their children. It could be a matter of life or death. I have a business to run, from my phone and my phone alone. If I don't answer right away ... I miss a sale. If you want to put your entire life & business on hold while you are simply waiting for the doctor... then go to this doctor. Also, There is a 75% chance that you will NOT be seen by Dr Marquette himself. He has nurse practitioners and midwives he can delegate MOST of his duties to. Unless you request the doctor... you will not get the doctor. The turn over ratio of doctor to patient is extremely high. If you are looking for more personalized service, this is not the doctors office for you.

In today's horrific healthcare environment, prompt service and being treated with respect is scarce, which makes experiences and businesses like this stand out. I have now seen several of the rotating Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners, and every one of them has been warm, friendly, professional, and easy to talk to. I don't know how many they have on staff but they seem to have enough to serve everybody who comes in and very promptly as well. Overall bedside manner is warm, friendly, and genuinely interested in helping you. I never feel rushed through an appointment. My most recent visit involved what I believed was an ear infection, but it turned out to be more of an ear pH imbalance and irritation issue rather than anything severe. It is the kind of condition that can often be treated with simple over-the-counter remedies, yet it still helps to have a qualified medical provider evaluate it properly and point you in the right direction. Obviously, urgent care does not replace having a primary care physician. However, if you have no health insurance, very often you do not have a primary care physician either. That is the reality for millions of people who are unemployed, between jobs, self-employed, or simply not earning enough to absorb the monthly cost of a health plan. In the age of AI and economic disruption, more people are slipping through the cracks of healthcare than many care to admit. I do not currently make enough money to comfortably carry a monthly insurance plan, and I am not old enough for the next chapter of life, which is the Medicare age. Until then, clinics like Doctors Urgent Care provide an important bridge with reasonable self-pay pricing and accessible care. In a healthcare system wrought with obsessively high insurance costs and pharmaceutical companies earning billions each year while many Americans struggle to afford the basic necessities of life... this business is genuinely helping to fill an important gap for many people, which is why those five-star reviews continue.

You can either schedule online or walk in and you generally do not have to wait more than 20 minutes and often less. You are really never in the office for more than 30-40 minutes and the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The Dr's and nurse practitioners are very knowledgeable, caring and they give you the care that you deserve. You often will get a follow up call either the next day or the day after to see if you are doing better. I will very often come here if I have a health issue that needs immediate attention instead of waiting for an appointment with my primary care physician that would often take some time to get. I highly recommend Dr's Urgent Care!

Shift changes occurred and night shift is completely pushing him aside and disregarding that the doctor said he may shower at his pleasure. With a stern and judging voice, she told him to wait as she's busy with other things. I offered to wrap his arm myself and they ignored. We've been here for almost a week with no answers. After this experience, I have so much motivation to change my whole life career to go to nursing school and actually be there for people in time of need.
