First time getting a haircut with Whitney, and she made the experience really fun and comfortable…read more We had a great consultation, and I really felt like she understood what I was going for. She paid attention to small details like cleaning up the back of my neck with a razor and making sure to hone in on the parts of my hair that always wind up bulky after a couple of weeks. Whitney works in her own private loft suite, so if you're looking for 1-on-1 attention you'll be really happy at her location. And while you're there you can enjoy a beer, cool hair products from Australia, and a good chat with Whitney who I found to be really welcoming, friendly, funny, and talented. 10/10 recommend!

Was completely ignored for several minutes after entering and standing at the entrance to shop. Both ladies completely ignored me. I had to ask them if they were still open and then one lady decided to finally turn her attention to me and rudely asked "Do you want a haircut?" (Great question to ask someone who enters barber shop, no?) When I said yes she replied annoyed "well sit down and I'll give you a haircut." My wife sit down and I place my bag on a chair. Then she rudely states "Where's your mask?" - 21 JULY 2021 - to which I respond "I don't have one." (I've been fully vaccinated for over 5 months - no signs on door requiring one. And she angrily and even more rudely states "How do you come in here without a mask?" At this point I picked up my items and abruptly left. To say the shop is very basic and bare-bones would be an overstatement - a few 50's era barber chairs and that's about it. Very obvious there is ZERO pride taken in presenting a professional atmosphere. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY AT THIS HORRIBLE ESTABLISHMENT!

I expressed the last couple times I am trying to grow my hair out to make the most of my hair type. At my most recent appointment, I made repeat comments along the lines of "im just looking for a trim to clean it up while i'm letting it grow out" and the stylist chopped off most of my curls in a weird way making it hard to style and losing my progress. I asked for a (very) low fade with a reference and a picture, and I walked out with a clear high fade (if it can even be called a fade) in a way that I can't honestly understand. Reference picture and result, both of myself, are attached below. I voiced my concerns to her immediately at the moment and just like my haircut, she also ignored that and basically told me that it doesn't look too bad and it is what it is. I paid the nearly $70 for this. The owner tried to be helpful after I left and told me she would offer a refund through the phone. That was 4 whole months ago, and she still has not followed through to add more insult to injury and frustration. I absolute hate writing a bad review for any business, but this is just ridiculous.
