This agency "Kristy" of Nationwide is not on your side like they say. This agency is on "their"…read moreside. I cancelled my home owners policy on time and later received a bill for $105.67. I called their agency no luck so I decided to go there. Upon my arrival and when I explained before she looked into my account she immediately said oh it's because I cancelled my car insurance and since I did that I didn't qualify for discount and that is why this bill is. I told her no I called Nationwide and that is not what they said. The partial payment that I paid you they say you never sent to them can you please call them. She kept arguing with me that that is because I cancelled my car policy. I guess she lost some commission $ and she was his f grudge. I made her call Nationwide and she promised she will call me after she talks to them and for my number to call me with outcome. She never did. Next day I called and she lied she emailed me the answer (she told me she will call NOT EMAIL). She lied because I didn't even get an email. She did confirm that Nationwide made a mistake and the bill was wrong. I do not owe anything. But yet she was insisting I owe this money due to canceling my car policy after 7 months. I love Nationwide but hate this Welk Agency on Orange-vale. 8601 Greenback Lane. Please go to another professional agency on the area and not her. She has your account pulled up before you even have your question formed and if she doesn't know the answer, she will work her magic to get you the answer. Matt is a great guy as well, but he does not answer the phone as much so I have not had many interactions however all have been nice and he did hire Korie so I have to give him credit there ;) I haven't had to deal with claims and all of that but I am confident that if/when that were to happen, these guys would have my back! Are there cheaper insurances? I'm sure. BUT is their service as wonderful? Definitely not, they don't have Korie so they will have my business for years to come!

I had been with another agency with an agent for 15 years and that agent left the business and was replaced with an unorganized agent that screwed up our billing, so I left the agency, found another agency that didn't have agents and had a terrible experience, so after a year of bad experiences, it was such a relief to find Mike. For me, being able to doing my insurance business mostly via email is huge. I don't want to call an 800 number and wait on hold forever. I love being able to email Mike my updates, mileage, questions, etc. He's very prompt in his replies and very thorough in his answers. And if I do need to call, Heidi is super helpful and friendly. And he's been a huge help twice in recommending other services - he recommended the most amazing mortgage broker (Cindi Taylor - see my review) and he helped me out with roofer recommendations. On top of all that amazing service, we are now paying less than we were with the other two companies and we are better insured.
