Artisan Property Solutions did an absolutely fabulous job with our new home. We did some pretty…read moreextensive renovations, including knocking down several walls in our kitchen/living room/dining room to create a more open space, gutting/re-doing the entire kitchen, and re-doing our powder room. We also placed brand new flooring (hardwood and tile) and smooth walls into the entire first floor of our house. This process included plumbing/electrical changes and several city inspections. The project (at first) seemed very overwhelming to my husband and myself (as this was the first time we have ever done any renovations), but Rob and Michelle worked with us throughout every step of the process and kept really good tabs of things along the way. They are experienced, knowledgeable, and organized. We didn't have a designer, but Rob and Michelle picked up on our style and helped us with design options as well (including lighting, counter tops, colors). Throughout the process (as with all projects) there were inevitably some things that didn't go exactly as we planned. The pandemic threw a wrench in some of the city inspection scheduling and shipping of products (which was not their fault and completely out of their hands). When hiccups would arise, Rob and Michelle worked with us on options and met us more than halfway on multiple occasions when we had to compromise on a solution. Additionally, we lived in our home throughout the majority of the renovations. We were a little nervous about living in the house during a renovation (especially because my husband was working from home and I have a lot of night shifts), but Rob's team was extremely respectful of our time, privacy, and personal space. And at the end of each day, his team cleaned up thoroughly, which we really appreciated. Rob's team worked long and hard hours, and even worked on multiple weekend days. I also found Rob (on multiple occasions) mentoring / investing his time in teaching some of the young men on his team. As an educator, that was really nice to see. In terms of pandemic safety, Rob and his team always came with masks. On one occasion, one of his workers had a COVID exposure over the holidays. As a healthcare worker myself, I was impressed with Rob's protocol and how honest/up front he was about quarantining to maintain myself and my husband's safety. Finally (and I think most importantly): Rob and Michelle are just all around good people who take pride in the quality of their work. Rob is a perfectionist and always made sure that we were absolutely happy with every step along the way. He and Michelle communicated well, were honest, and very fair. We became good friends with him and his team, and it was fun to interact with them each day. Our new puppy even loved seeing them every day (yes - we are crazy and got a brand new puppy during this renovation process). Overall: Artisan Property Solutions completely transformed our home and we are so in love with it. They come with our highest recommendation.

The Job started on October 31 and was finished before Christmas. We had to live through the demo and construction so the put up lots of heavy plastic drapes to protect the rest of the home from dust. The crew kept a very clean work area as well. Any questions or concerns we had were addresses promptly. This was a large job (for us). All the lighting fixtures were changed, the old island was pulled out and replaced with a much more functional custom island, and appliances were updated and/or added. I do not know how I ever lived without a double oven. The backsplash tile work looks great and we love the new sink! I could go on and on. The final product was outstanding! We love our new kitchen. Please view some of the photos. This was not the first time I have used her. I have used C & L to put real hardwood flooring in my formals and Pergo Laminate in our family room. I have also used Cyndy in the past as a designer. She helped us with custom curtains, wallpaper and recovering furniture. Because she is a designer, she brings addition value when discussing options for colors, style and trends. She has a keen eye to detail as well. After Hurricane Harvey, my "Boss" needed a contractor and I referred C & L. Seriously that how much I trust Cyndy and C & L to get the job done on time and on budget. In 2013, this company helped me redesign my kitchen. I also had many parts of my home (built in 1955) updated to look modern and stylish. I swear, it looks like it's straight out of a design magazine. People complement "my design skills" all the time, but I didn't do any of it. It was all Cyndy! In 2016, I had them come to my home again to re-floor my kitchen, mudroom, and media room. Her team put in a new wood floor in a few rooms and even matched it to my existing, original wood floors! They also put down new tile (which looks great thanks to Cyndy's interior design experience). Honestly, looking at the one negative review on here really made me scratch my chin. Well after interviewing several contractors I sat down with Spiros and shared my vision . He was so easy to work with . To my surprise he actually took the time to sit down and show me the best options available to me with my budget something I really appreciated. Was he the cheapest? No but told my self I would not go with the cheapest. I learned early that you get what you pay for. Most of the time anyways. And definitely with Spiros. I loved that he kept me posted through out the job and updated me along the way. I'll never use another company. Best part is I'm happy.

What's important in hiring a contractor is honesty and the quality of his subcontractors. I came to appreciate Spiros attention to detail and not letting any quality to be compromised. The subcontractors were excellent. Spiros was responsive to every request. While we had many surprises and unexpected challenges during the project, at the end of the day, Spiros built one of the most beautiful homes in Pirates Beach in Galveston.
