So good!!!
Sylvia A.

We stopped here on a bus tour trip. They had a lot of fresh produce and I heard the icecream was excellent. I purchased some dried fried okra. Which was excellent!! Talk about being high in fiber. Woohoo for that. This okra was seasoned perfectly. I would definitely purchase this again. Just wish I had known how good it was. I would have purchased three bags. It was reasonably priced at $4.99 a bag.

This is my go-to lunch spot when I'm in Maryland for Ironman. I can count on farm fresh, locally sourced, healthy food. Plus, the grounds are extraordinarily beautiful and the service is wonderful.

What an unexpected surprise. Don't let the name fool you. It's a lot more than produce. I found their prepared foods to be very good. Bought a walnut bundt cake which I'd never heard of -- delectable. The apple cider donuts are hearty. Given all the outdoor seating, I decided to have lunch at the last minute; went with a salad called deli sampler. It features scoops of crab salad, egg salad and tuna salad on lettuce and other crunchy, yummy veggies. It's outstanding. A big selection of jarred and canned foods is offered throughout this multifaceted roadside stand. There's jams and pickles galore. Picked up an Emily Produce's brand of jalapeno jelly and like it a lot. The produce overall is quality. The broccoli, carrots (gargantuan sized), sweet corn, and lettuce I took home were lovely. A mound of sweet potatoes however, had holes in them, subpar. The special price of $15 to carry as many pumpkins as possible in one try without dropping them was a hilarious challenge. The staff aided customers with helpful hints as to how to get the most. Hordes of fathers lined up, determined to outdo each other and to impress their kids. Fun stuff. It's a bit touristy, but then, I'm a visitor in these parts! This is a unique, significant food business with many components.

Beautiful farm stand with pick your own flowers, produce and groceries. Lots of kid activities. Happy to find Smith Island cake to bring back as my favorite souvenir.

Bottom Line: Festive atmosphere, friendly employees, cute goats and fresh produce. I love the rural-ish lifestyle of Maryland's Eastern Shore and I have a significant appreciation and fascination for the agrarian subculture of the sho'. I like to support local businesses and I thoroughly appreciate fresh produce. For all those reasons, I instructed hubby to hit the breaks when I saw this quaint establishment! The overall experienced lived up to my first impression. Emily's Produce is a lovely produce stand located in Cambridge not too far off of US-50 (maybe five minutes?). We received an enthusiastic and friendly greeting from both the resident goats and the employees. In fact, all the employees were engaging and friendly. Since we visited in the fall there were beautiful mums, pumpkins and gourds everywhere. Given the reasonable prices, I loaded up on the gourds. We also had to check out the bakery case which was full of locally made goodies. We got two pumpkin roll slices to go and enjoyed that sweet treat later in the day. I absolutely plan to make a return trip to this cute produce stand located on the edge of farmed fields.

This place is a really great, family-run operation. They have plants and flower baskets, fresh produce, jams and sauces, homemade bakery goods, and all kinds of specialty items. I have driven by several times before, but today, I planned my trip to allow time to stop. There are SO many choices it is hard to know where to start. I purchased a half dozen ears of sweet corn (at a bargain price), luscious fresh peaches, a loaf of blueberry bread, some granola, and a sunflower plant. They also have a refrigerated section and a counter in the back. There is plenty of outdoor seating. The staff at Emily's was SO helpful and friendly. Don't miss this place. They really do it right!

Southwestern chicken salad and an apple cider donut for lunch. I wish I got another donut!

One of Cambridge's hidden gems! While it's a bit off the downtown path, well worth the ride over. I'm a huge fan of the Scottish Highlanders ice cream from Oxford, and so happy they carry it. Probably the main reason I come! They also have a good lunch selection. The pulled pork bbq sandwich is my favorite. If you're stopping in to pick up something, be sure to try one of their apple cider donuts . Also they have a good selection of produce, but clearly not what I come here for

Cute little stop on the way to our rented house for the week. Glad we happened across this place! Very delicious cheeseburger and lots and lots of fresh produce. We left with plenty of delicious things. Be sure to hit them up if you are in the area!

Nonetheless, this was a nice (albeit small) collection of local vendors selling some great looking/tasting produce, meat, baked goods, honey and SALT (I'm a sucker for salts). Many of the vendors were the same as those you'll see at the Anne Arundel County Farmer's Market on Saturday mornings. On the downside, this market is in the parking lot of the Annapolis Mall which is the most depressing of settings (in my opinion, of course) -- local vendors selling local produce amongst the most commercial of chains, like Applebee's and Panda Express, places that use commercial, flavorless produce in their food. The juxtaposition is not lost on me. I'm not trying to be snobbish, it's just that I feel a lot more "at home" when some grass is visible during my veggie buying spree. Nonetheless, I highly recommend stopping in and picking up some salt samples and produce. Nothing is better than a fresh, homegrown tomato or sweet ear of white corn as a vessel on which to try your newly acquired salts. Once you try it you'll thank me!

Eggs and dairy products, with fresh seasonal veggies, breads, and even jewelry and soaps are just a few items you can pick up from this market. It varies each weekend. I've gotten herbs, and a Maryland Farmer's cookbook. I'm a huge fan of the Triple J farm eggs there. They are pricey $3.99/dozen, BUT unless you have a hen house handy you won't get fresher eggs. Once you try it, you will never want to buy eggs from Giant or Safeway again. Because these guys were smart enough to situate themselves within walking distance of a bank, this makes it very convenient for us to get cash (or more cash if we see more stuff we like) from an ATM. They get an extra star from me for making an effort to be convenient.

I actually…read moredidn't know about the Farmers Market until I spotted one of my favorite dessert shops are vendors at this location. So what did I do, planned to go first thing Saturday morning! Located at the Crofton Library parking lot, parking for the Market is onsite - front and back parking lot options, street parking and the church across the street provides parking. Open at 8am - noon and food trucks until 2pm on Saturday's, I saw any and everything you could imagine. Farm fresh produce, pies, goats milk soap, freshly pressed juices, speciality cookies and cupcakes, and EMPANADAS! We were like kids in a candy store, so clearly everything I just listed, we purchased. All of the vendors we encountered were very friendly and helpful. The Farmers Market opens in May and closes for the season in November. My top 3 vendors, Sugar Butter Love, DMV Empanadas, and the Goats Milk Soap vendor - sorry can't remember their name. All had quality options to purchase. The Market has a website to check out the vendors that will be on display, as well as social media pages. I was impressed and will absolutely be back! Note to the wise, bring a reusable bag or two to collect your purchased items. I even brought an insulated bag for my hot/cold items.
