I ended up getting a "Kids Meal", which is 4 party chicken tenders and 1 side for $10. Does NOT include a drink. Sodas were an extra $2-3 The chicken was good, seasoned well. Large portions. I had the mashed potatoes and gravy, which was good too. I got a little side of Pretzel salad, for about $2.30. Tasty! We were standing at the counter for quite a few minutes, and no one came over to help us. We then went to a far side of another counter and someone said they would be over, and she was over promptly at that point. I wanted a smoothie, and there is a stand near the pastries. I had the Blueberry smoothie, $6.99. It was okay. I wanted something more refreshing and sweet, and this was not it. We arrived about 20 minutes after it opened. There was already a line for chicken/meat items. Open parking space outfront. Bathroom could use some papertowels. There was only 1 hand drier that worked

This is a long review but one that I hope will be helpful to anyone interested in quality organic products made by someone who is a fountain of knowledge and who genuinely cares about her customers. My most frequent go-to products are: * Nerve/Joint/Muscle Pain Relief (roller ball). I started using it for sciatica but found it has many other uses including relieving neuropathy pain. After getting two injections from my podiatrist, going to physical therapy for six weeks and consulting orthopedics about the pain, it dawned on me that I should give Fran's remedy a try. While not a cure, applying the Nerve/Joint/Muscle Pain Relief to the nerves on top of my foot, I can be pain free for hours or for days --- no idea why the variance. * Hello My Aloe Plus. I use this product for a myriad of skin problems. Most recently, I found it solved the irritation created by my bra. I had numerous tiny painful sores. After about three weeks, all the sores were gone. A tiny bit goes a long way in relieving cracked, dry skin around my fingernails, itching from hives or any other skin irritation, and moisturizing my face. I absolutely love the many uses I have found for this product. * Skin Tag Removal Soap. The small skin tags on my neck disappear. The larger skin tags are smoothed to the point that they are not noticeable. Maybe they are something other than skin tags; regardless, I am pleased with the results. I always stock up on the wonderful handcrafted scented soaps, including Bug Away. And, every time I visit, she has new products to try. This time, I picked up the Nerve/Joint/Muscle Pain Relief rub. It would be better for Fran to explain the difference between the rub and the roller ball, but the rub does not require one to wait for the product to dry. Rub it in and be on your way was the appeal for me. I am also trying the Madagascar Vanilla Bean in vodka extract - alcohol disappears in heated food. Although small, this farmer's market has a small town appeal with just a few vendors, but I found them attentive, personable and and plain old nice. From Belle's Acres soap, balms, salves, and body washes to Karen Kay's table of cakes and other sweet treats with no sugar, calories, just LOVE as she tells it. So, stop on by this charming farmer's market on Sunday and leave with a SMILE.

We ran down this morning for the inaugural launch and they did not disappoint. Criteria for vendors at a Freshfarm Market include, that you must be located within the Chesapeake bay region and you may only sell what you have either grown or made yourself. With that said, there is a definite slant towards sustainable and organic product of high quality. Today's offerings included: Quail Creek Bakery, Cherry Glen Goat Cheese Co, Flower vendors, Springfield Lamb, Local produce featuring early tomatoes, mini cucumbers, herbs, sweet cherries, asparagus, strawberries and much more. We also scooped up a delicious homemade gazpacho and mushroom empanadas for later. Local favorite, Chef Jim Wilder of the Wild Orchid Cafe was on hand for food demonstrations. We watched as he prowled the market for his ingredients but were unable to stay. There is plenty of room for expansion and we have hopes that as the season progresses, even more vendors will join in. The market is open Sundays only, June 1 - October 5. 8AM - 12PM.
