I do believe the tag renewal is staggered at beginning to mid month & mid month to end of month .Wait times might be longer before the deadlines? Also phoenix & Tucson biggest Arizona cities are required for emission testing ? A friend with several cars and vacation home on mount Lemmon had his mail go to mt Lemmon P.O. Box to avoid emissions testing & maybe to visit more often? They are super fast, efficient and friendly. My gas cap needed replacing, they do that for you at no charge, so I was out of there in 20 mins with a new gas cap and a smog certificate for just over $16.
