Everyone would be better off going to the actual DMV. The staff are incompetent, their "waitlist" system is pointless, and after waiting 1.5 hours on said waitlist, outside the building, in the heat, they say they'll text you and then don't follow through and you get skipped in line. When I asked a lady who was supposed to be a receptionist, she said "oh, okay." and dismissed me. Stop trying to be technology friendly if you're gonna make a trash system. I understand you make hardly enough to go home and feed your 8 children at the end of the day, but save everyone the (already) aggravating and stereotypical DMV experience and get it together & do your job. Have come to this facility twice, and should have known better after the first time. Originally came here to get my AZ driver's license after moving here from out of state. My husband and I came together for the same thing, but when it came to listing political parties, we were told that we couldn't both register for the same party (?!) so I went Independent. Should have questioned that, but being new to the state, I didn't. The second time we came back was to change our address to a new one. I didn't understand something one of them said, and the gal was annoyed at having to explain. Then the other gal chimed in with a snarky remark. No one else was in the place, they weren't in any hurry, so their attitudes were completely uncalled for. We asked them to update our addresses and left. Yesterday, at the bank, I discovered that they'd updated my husband's address, but not mine. How rude! Who does that? Yeah... find another place to go for your license business, cuz this place is for the birds. read more

First time here and will definitely come back. The line seems daunting but it truly moves fast. We got there before it opened we were number 9 and arrived at 6:50am they open at 9am. The wait was people in lawn chairs one customer was yelling out numbers so we knew but after a while people just congregate that system didn't last long but best you believe we made sure the ones ahead of us and took note of our proper turn. There are those people that will say I was here before you etc.. and heard that but the first 10-12 of us knew and got our spots. There was an elderly couple that got turned away day before and cut the entire line regardless of who was there 2 hours plus prior but in there defense they were elderly. Come to find out they had a ticket from yesterday cause they were there for four hours didn't get served. Nice of facility to expedite them. When they open the girl yells from door to form a line one way and is very good I mean bossy at her job.. bahahaha, but again in her defense the people add up so quickly and she is perfect girl to put order in that chaos. Good job door girl! When it is your turn she will definitely make sure you prove all your paperwork so you don't needlessly get to counter and can't be served. The girl does know her job well. After she checks you in your told you can wait outside or in car they will text your phone and call you verbally. You get 5 minutes to respond for your turn or have to rewait. But why would you even take 5 minutes..don't you wanna get your business taken care of? You waited that long at least be ready when it's your turn. Come on people. Once it's your turn she guides which counter to go or your directed to take a seat. Only limited seats inside which was good they take number of people precautions cause it is small area. I did not notice any staff member sanitizing counter tops in between customers major fail in my opinion. They touch all your documents and papers and then touch the next person's without sanitizing there hands in between so then it made sense..why would they sanitize the counters in between, after all the people are laying down the paperwork, leaning on the counter sitting the purse bag even a kid sat up there. I already had an idea it was going to be like this. I had all our documents in zip locks and kept them like that but either way take them back home let them sit out and don't touch them for a week. The girl that did our license was super nice and very respectful forgot her name. The guy Jeffery was so nice and helpful his demeanor was so respectful and very knowledgeable in doing our vehicle plates and answered all questions. All staff we came across very nice and helpful. Will definitely use this place again. Even though a surcharge fee is added. I also checked in on Yelp and used my 5 dollar off coupon that pops up in Yelp app. Thanks! read more

Came here instead of the normal department of motor vehicles and I am sure glad I did. Yes you pay extra- yes it's worth it. Having recently move to the Marana area I needed an AZ license. The process took less than an hour total including my 30 minute wait. They are properly set up for covid. And have a nice system that texts you when in office seating is available. My advisor Jasmine was super personal-able and helpful. She made the process painless and an overall positive experience. I don't care if you have to pay a little extra money. I will definitely consider this place again when I have a future transactions. Totally worth it. read more

The owner and staff are extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and efficient. We needed a bonded title and they came out to our house for the inspection. Afterward they helped us get the bond and title. They perform multiple services that are offered through the State of Arizona Motor Vehicle Division, but at a fraction of the wait time, and with very friendly people. Filled my DL app out online so they were able to pull it up, too a new photo, paid the fee, $25 for license and a $20 convenience fee = $45 and I was out the door with a temp license (the real one will be mailed to me 7-10 days) and my voter registration! There's always going to be a line, no two ways about it. Bring a book/work to pass the wait. There's usually a person at the entrance, with whom you check in with to "register" for whatever it is you're there to get done. You're given a number and then all you need to do is wait for your number/name to get yelled out for you to enter. Some people wait in their car if they're number is still far off, but usually there are folks waiting outside the entrance, off to the side, so as to ensure not to miss their number/spot being called. Once inside, there's another small waiting area and 3-4 windows. It's pretty straightforward once you're in. The husband and I were able to get our driver's licenses, car registrations, new plates, and register to vote. Pro tip - it's usually cheaper to pay for several years of registration if you're able to swing it! They're usually tell you the different options in price. Also, I didn't know this until afterwards, but it's an extra $50 for a"vanity" plate that isn't the standard AZ plate. Lastly, AZ has about a million different plate options, which is interesting and also a good way (if you need a license plate) to spend your time perusing while waiting for your number to be called. Overall, we appreciate the overall painless experience at Arizona Motor Vehicle Express. read more

Very nice but the wait if you have to take the driver's written test is really quite long and they don't accept appointments. We have been waiting over 2 hours. At least they have water bottles available but you would think there would be a more streamlined procedure. read more

I came here with a friend, on the recommendation of another friend, who said that this place would process her title and registration quicker than a normal DMV would. They were right. We were happy to see that this place was open on Saturdays. Our visit only took an hour. It was a quick hour, thanks to how speedy the line moved. The person who helped was knowledgeable and friendly. One thing I was especially impressed with a little electronic counter that tracked the number of likes their facebook page had. This place is fantastic. We just moved here from out of state and needed to register two vehicles and get new driver's licenses. The staff were efficient, friendly, and very knowledgeable. We were in and out in about an hour and got nearly everything done in that time. One vehicle needed a emissions check before registering so we left for that and came back later the same day and got it all done. The vehicle registrations arrived in the mail with in two days. I am sure we will get our licenses and plates soon as well. Highly recommend. Very satisfied. I had contract to sell a mobile home and found out the title was never transferred in my name. I went to the Maricopa MVD and nobody there had a clue what to do. I left frustrated, went home and researched to find an independent company who could help me. Of course, I couldn't close on the property until I had a title. I was in this office on Friday and the agent indicated that SALVAGE was noted on the title, which was South Dakota. The vehicle had previously been title in Arizona. I took it to South Dakota to title it there. I now wanted to title it in AZ as I have moved there. He did not observe that at the top there was a note of (type) out of state. additionally there was a note (Previous State Brand) AZ Restored Salv. I was given a location and phone # to set an appointment for an inspection. I called that number and every number on the site they have on google and not one office would answer their phone. Impossible to find out what action to follow to comply with AZ law. read more

Then definitely come here! They a charge $20 fee in order for you to skip the lines, work with one person, lounge on their big leather couch and watch TV. As a new resident of this state, I am overwhelmed at the niceness and helpfulness of its residents. I went to the express motor vehicle place to save time and achieve multiple goals at once. After a two and a half hour wait, I was called up for drivers license photos. There was an issue with my apartments address, it's #C or also it's #3. Because the computers here would only accept the number and not the letter c, and I didn't have enough documentation with a three instead of a C, I couldn't get it he federal license. Even after everyone up to this girl told me it'd be fine. She and the employee in the next kiosk were too busy bullshitting to get many people through there. I bet ten more people could've easily been added to the owners bottom line. If you are the owner, send in a mole to sit there and watch what goes on. Save your time, money, and sanity, and just put up with the real DMV. At least you know your gonna wait and be harassed. I was hoping not here, but no such luck. read more

It took us 3 days to complete our transactions. We are new here and applied for licenses and one set of plates...We knew it would be a challenge as temps in triple digits and you have to wait outside. On 3rd visit we were there at 8:30am and we were 11th in line, 1st person was there at 7...thank goodness someone was counting everyone.... as there are no numbers to take, could get ugly out there! Finally inside and waiting in the cool air, my husband watched as a man working at one of the windows was vaping with head down below his desk, meanwhile another person continually wiped down his desk over and over then built cute designs with post-its to avoid actually working ( is this high-school? No, it's the company working for the DMV!) this when it's over 100 outside and lots of old people waiting. Unbelievable and sad... so be prepared if you go there... read more
