Our family enjoys participating in these events, and we appreciate the many photos and videos shared with parents afterward to capture the memories. Another great feature of Little Tree is the optional lunch program. For $6 a day, they provide a tasty, nutritious, and balanced meal, which is one less thing for me to worry about.

She was wonderfully supportive during potty training, made sure the kids were dressed appropriately for the weather, and created a warm, nurturing environment. The daycare has a great outdoor play space, serves delicious home-cooked meals that my kids still talk about, and is exceptionally clean--my children rarely got sick while they were there, which is a feat in itself! Ms. Helen also has a strong background in early childhood education and incorporates age-appropriate learning, arts and crafts, music, and early academics into the day. By the time my daughter started TK, she was very well prepared. Since Ms. Helen speaks Mandarin with the children, both of my kids were also able to maintain their Mandarin fluency. One thing to note is that Ms. Helen is more comfortable communicating in Mandarin than English. This was fine for me since I speak Mandarin, while my husband usually communicated through email or Google Translate. We feel lucky to have found Sunflower Daycare. It felt like having a trusted family member with expertise in early childhood education caring for our children. I highly recommend it to any family looking for a loving, enriching daycare.

In addition, she was great with our toddler who loved to follow her around to see what she was up to throughout the day. Throughout our time with her, Jian Ayi was extremely professional, provided advice but was never pushy, and was easy to get along with even with my limited Chinese language skills and my husband not speaking Chinese. Emma is to daycare what Michael Jordan is to basketball--an absolute legend. She's born to do this. Running a daycare isn't just her job, it's her art form. She creates this magical, loving home-away-from-home where kids not only feel safe and cherished, but also get to experience nonstop joy, creativity, and sunshine. For the past three years, my kid has grown into someone deeply rooted in the warmth of community and absolutely lit up by fun and curiosity. I truly believe that wouldn't have happened without Emma. Drop-off and pick-up have become something unexpectedly healing for me. Watching little kids of all ages run to greet my child with hugs and smiles, seeing the way my kid bolts joyfully toward Emma and Popo (Emma's mom)--honestly, it helps me rewrite parts of my own childhood. Some people say you shouldn't send your kid to a daycare where the caregivers also live. But they'd think twice if they spent even ten minutes watching what happens at Emma's. The play structures? Designed by Emma and built by her dad. The food? Home-cooked by Popo. The garden? Full of happy, well-loved plants thriving under the same magical care Emma gives the kids. Their provided lunch lifted a lot of stress and cognitive load on us. We also appreciated their inclusiveness. Unlike in other settings, we never felt like our son's energy would be "too much." We were not worried about being kicked out for potentially being neurodiverse. They notice his interests and how he is developing and bring out toys, books, puzzles, etc. to match his needs. He even started reading before 4 years old. They also helped him paint his nails and loved the shiny dresses that he wears. We highly recommend Flora Child Care!

The second my son walked in the door, he was off playing, without hesitation. Cherysse wanted to have my son (2 1/2) start by just coming and meeting the kids, then staying a few hours, and finally working up to a full day. She wanted him to feel comfortable and unafraid. Well, the first day we showed up, she ended up allowing him to stay the whole day, because each time I tried to take him home, he cried because he wanted to stay with his new friends. Cherysse and her two teaching assistants are truly some of the most special people I've ever met. They love what they do, and it shines. Other than my family, they are the only people that I trust with my children. Cherysse is always available to talk, whether in person, on the phone, text, or email. I have always felt comfortable talking to her about anything regarding my son. We've only known her a short 9 months, but in that amount of time, she has become someone who will be a part of our lives forever! I highly recommend A Child's Place!

There is a reason this place only has 5-star reviews! As a first-time mom, I was extremely anxious about leaving my son with caregivers outside of family. What I didn't expect was that the wonderful teachers at Orkidz would start to feel like extended family to our baby. Before enrolling, I had heard plenty of horror stories about daycares where staff seemed disengaged or unhappy in their jobs. That has absolutely not been our experience here. The women at Orkidz genuinely LOVE children, and it shows every single day in the warmth, patience, and care they bring to the classroom. We toured several daycares before Orkidz, but the moment we walked in for our tour with Ms. Sheila, we were sold because no other place could compare. We were amazed with the facility, their library, their beautiful outdoor space, and the impressive commercial-style kitchen where they make yummy food for the kids. As for our son, I had prepared myself for difficult drop-offs and lots of crying. Instead, after a brief moment of confusion on his very first day (not sadness or separation anxiety because the teachers got to distracting him right away!), he settled in and adjusted to daycare immediately. He loves being around his little friends, is excited to go every morning, and is all smiles every time we come back to pick him up. Our son loves all the teachers, his face lights up when he sees them every morning, and he is especially attached to his primary teacher, Ms. Azadeh. They also have fun and engaging classes and we absolutely love the daily updates and pictures! In just a couple of months, we've already seen our now toddler become more social, curious, and comfortable around other children and adults. He also eats so well there and they have a variety of homecooked meals that I could never replicate.
