The store manager, Susan Jordon, was so upbeat, energetic, friendly, and made my shopping experience one of the best I've had in a very, very long time. I came in to return an order of 4 pants I purcahsed online as a first time customer at J.Jill, I wasn't sure what size to order. Susan simply explained that I was ordering way too big and helped me find the perfect work pant for my new job. She set me up comfortably in a fitting room and brought me endless options to try - taking all the guesswork out of shopping, she picked out items that she thought would fit me well. Once we found the perfect fit, she found the pant in every color they had and went above & beyond to find me the only black pair left in a back stock room (double checking the computer inventory one last time before checking out). She was so friendly & kind - she was a complete joy to shop with. You don't run into this level of customer service at most retail stores. Susan is a tremendous asset to your brand and the company would do well if she traveled to other stores to spread her contagious attitude and friendly service! Job well done, Susan! We've visited their Simsbury store a bunch of times, and we saw pretty much the same selection of low priced goods here in Glastonbury - men's & women's clothing, shoes, household goods, artwork, books, toys, etc. We caught a 50% off sale on clothing yesterday, and I walked out with a $15 blazer for $7.50. Pretty sweet, eh? All proceeds go to charity (The Village for Families) and the store employees are all volunteers. The two women we interacted with were as nice and friendly as could be, we really enjoyed chatting with them. Bottom line? You can score some great bargains and support a worthy charity all at the same time.
