Website is extremely impressive which is why I stopped. Was excited to talk about the detox packages and spend a lot of money, the sauna really peaked my interest. Coming into the store was less than desirable. There were no juices made for detox packages, it was extremely warm, like the AC was off. I was told the juice I wanted couldn't be made because they were making another juice. I told the nice front desk lady that I would wait and she said that was fine. She was nice. Just really disappointed. The front table seemed more like a break room than being for customers. Unfortunately I won't be back. Hope to find a juice bar in the area soon enough.

Shout out to Emnet Organics for the mother's day fruit bouquet (via fruitbouquets.com). The first basket was of subpar quality, with the pineapples turning brown, dried out oranges and discolored melons. My father called the store and the staff were very kind and understanding. They quickly replaced with a new fresh fruit arrangement and even added a balloon. Great customer service and it made my mother very happy. Highly recommend!

I've tried going twice now and they've been closed during their listed open hours. Never tried the food but won't bother going by again.

I had a smoothie with extra protein and it wasn't thick and disgusting like many smoothies with a lot of protein.

I frequent this WF often and can say my favorite place to go is the meat section. The Delmonico steaks are some of the best deals they have for saving money and getting a great cut. $9.99 can't beat that. Their ribeyes and new yorks are also some of my favorite cuts and never disappoint. So much go to's in my diet that I get here, the cheese selection had be in a choke hold for quite some time of trying all kinds of exotic and new cheeses. LOVEEE these and what the company is all about. You can taste the difference in these Idaho potato chips I swear it. The employees there are always super nice and helpful too. Whenever I check out at the self checkout they always help take the basket that I used. Very friendly and greet you with a smile when you have a question. The energy of this whole foods is always inviting and I love strolling the aisles looking for new and exciting foods and goods to try.

Serving the Elyria-Swansea and Globeville neighborhoods, The GrowHaus uses hydroponics and aquaphonics techniques to grow fresh and healthy vegetables for distribution to local residents and for sale to local grocery stores and restaurants. The greenhouse also hosts classes on gardening, cooking, nutrition and fitness and provides economic opportunities to the neighbors in the form of business development for food based small businesses. There are many ways to experience GrowHaus first-hand. It serves as the venue for the annual Harvest Week dinners, which I highly recommend. Free public tours are offered every Friday morning at 10:00 a.m. There is also a variety of volunteer opportunities on the business side of things in the way of marketing, communications, event planning, graphic design, and grant writing (most of the plant care and farm work is handled by interns, students and trainees). The GrowHaus is a 501(c) nonprofit organization that accepts cash donations and in-kind donations of tools, gardening supplies and office equipment. I love everything about The GrowHaus mission and wish them many years of continued success. I would love to see more urban farms pop up around the city.

We had a great time on the hayride, collecting both blackberries and raspberries, seeing the chickens, lots of honey bees, and sheep, hanging out with a sweet farm dog, etc. It was well worth the drive and a very relaxing experience for all of us.

You may even get to see the farm doggo if you're lucky! If you are like me and enjoy finding unique fruits and veggies that you don't see in any grocery store or even at your summer farmer's markets, this is the place for you! The drive is a quick one from Denver and once you are there on the farm, you kind of forget where you are! The store will take you back in time with it's simple set up with vintage coolers that store all of those beautiful veggies, and old tables stacked with baskets filled with even more veggies and fruits. There are heirloom options and the choices vary throughout the season as new things come in. On one of my visits this past summer, I picked up a huge bunch of home-grown Edamame that was far better than anything I have gotten anywhere else. It was actually quite fun to remove them from the stems to wash and cook up. I also was able to find beautiful Italian green beans - my absolute favorite and never-able-to-find option. The tomatoes are always a go-to and are so flavorful. I found out how the heirloom options are grown in the greenhouse and how that has provided the sweetest results and can confirm, they are very sweet and delicious. Along with the veggies and fruits, you will also find some locally made goodies sold in a brown paper bag that are a great treat to take for the ride home. Also, don't miss the dried pepper selection! There is also a cooler/freezer with meats and fresh eggs. When I was there, it was golden raspberry picking time and there were many families out for the tractor ride to the bushes to pick their own. Be sure to check out their website for hours - the opening is limited and you want to avoid making a trip unnecessarily and you can find out about special events, picking times for the fruits, cakes, and flowers and CSA share options. Claudia and Tim operate a farm that is certified organic and you can be sure their offerings are truly fresh, truly local, and truly organic as their motto says.
