This location popped up while I was looking the other way. I was off to a movie when I noticed the building. It wasn't there a month before I swear!!! I used to frequent the location when it was 2 blocks from my house and now I go even more often it seems to the new location. It's bigger with the same friendly staff. I am waiting to see what neat things they bring to the classroom at the front of the store as you walk in. They have a great selection of natural and organic products and are ready, willing and able to answer most any question you have. If they don't have something they will even order it for you. I completely recommend you stop in and take a look at the new location. read more

This Natural Grocers location is a bit underwhelming. This location used to be a Hancock fabrics. They've done nothing more than throw up their grocery paraphernalia and call it a day. This is an older strip mall and the inside of the store reflects that. This is the store to shop at if you have very specific dietary needs. Almost every thing I picked up screams GLUTEN FREE or VEGAN on it. If your going to pick out vitamins, you had better know exactly what you need because there are almost more rows dedicated to vitamins than groceries. Probably pretty overwhelming for anyone used to choosing their Flinstone vitamins out at King Soopers. The employees have always been very friendly and helpful when needed. I don't mind running in here when I need something specific but it isn't my first choice. read more

Have been a fan of Vitamin Cottage(Natrl Grocers) since the 80's. This new one is as nice as any. Lots of help. Never had a problem finding what I've needed. Love their dry goods area for spices, herbs & competitive vitamin prices. Cheapest price verses other Organic stores. read more

Not a bad location at all!! My trip was a quickie anyway. The makeup department is so easy to spy from the entrance, but the main reason I love all locations of N.G. Is the set up of the store itself. Each store looks almost identical with the set up of the departments, and that saves me time. I know immediately where everything is, and that decreases my headache. I got my lipstick and left. No hassle and no worries! read more

I like this Vitamin Cottage. It's not flashy, but the staff is helpful, the vegetables are fresh and it's a nice place to shop. I go there about once every two weeks on my way home. The staff is always really helpful and friendly. The prices can be a little on the expensive side, but really not bad. The store is always clean and well organized. read more

Wow. What amazing customer service! I came in having no idea where my items were and within minutes I was asked if I needed help, then shown directly to all my products! (Not just told what aisle they were in) even after I got my products another worker asked if I needed help. Plus the cashier was kind and patient and even gave me a penny to complete my order. I wish I remembered the names of these 3 women but I definitely remember how taken care of they made me feel!! read more

I just mooved to this neighborhood. This vitamin cottage is kindof weak. It is all desolate and scary. Needs some snappy tunes or something. It really is kind of a random location, next to some really seedy bars in a strip mall. I kind of feel obligated to try to keep this place in business because I would like it to thrive since it is close. Sadly, I don't think Aurora-ites are really frequenting this place. They didn't have the delicious soy jerky that all the other locations have. The bread selection is lacking too. Which is kind of expected, why would you load up all these products just to not sell them? There were a lot of items that were about to expire today for pretty cheap. I can't write anymore, this store is just kind of sad :( read more

Wow a lot bigger than the closed one on Chambers & Tower. Impressed by the slightly more selection in health foods, supplements & vitamins, and beauty products. However, we had to wait in line for 10 minutes with only 2 out 5 registers open with a looooong line of shoppers and only THEN did they call for only 1 more register. The cashiers didn't give me the warm fuzzies like the old one did neither. Heck even at King Soopers, their cashiers are A LOT more cheerful and fun! Also their parking and driveway is a squeeeeeze. But ultimately, their item selection is AWESOME and we be returning. So overall, I give them 3 stars. read more

I've been to this store a few times since it had opened and they seem to have their kinks worked out. We used to shop at Sprouts 10 mins away but not much since this store opened. Prices are comparable to Whole Foods, but is 20 mins away from me versus right across the street like Natural Grocers. Tofu is cheaper here than the King Soopers across the street. Organic produce can be pricey compared to King Soopers too. Convenient being in the same parking lot as Movie Tavern and Sonic. read more

Yikes. I guess I'm not going to buy food here...portobellas for $7.99? an average sized watermelon for almost $7? HUH? Listen, I am an organic food devotee, so I know organic is more expensive. And, I applaud this more local chain for only stocking organic. But, it makes it really hard for me to convince myself to by their organic when THE EXACT SAME THINGS are almost half price at Whole Foods! Not to mention Sprouts or the budding organic section at Safeway. I guess I'll only use this place for supplements (which, if you look at another review I did for another Vitamin Cottage, I'm not sure that is worth it either). Really disappointment - I so wanted to support a smaller store than Whole Foods, but I think I may be forced to walk away from this one... read more

Aurora, Colorado- We have been here on three occasions and have decided to make it our primary market. The approachable and smiling staff have led us to numerous ingredients and items rather than just pointing them out or telling us where to find them. Staff clearly are knowledgable as their product descriptions are thorough and complete-my subsequent research validates what they have reported about their products to be true. I am a confident shopper here. I like their variety. I can taste a difference in the produce. The spice selection is incredible. I love that they don't distribute bags to litter the environment. Im going to give 2 stars only. because The guywho helped me was very respectful and nice i spent a lot of money in suplements. With that being said there was another lady that i asked about a product. It was an older lady redhead, dont know her name, and she came out as rude. Also the lady cashier with short salt and pepper hair made a funny comment that i didnt appreciate at all. People have to be more respectful. I dont feel comfortable going to that store read more

I've been shopping at Vitamin Cottage since I was in college in the 70's and there were only two stores, now there are stores in Texas and I believe New Mexico. I worked in a health food store competitor and my friend worked at Vitamin Cottage. The most important thing I've always liked about VC is they're continued scrutiny of everything they keep on their shelves. Their founder was a perfectionist about natural health, especially water and food purity, no GMO. Because the store has grown to many the prices of produce can be quite competitive with the big boxes. It's great to have a store that wants and does the right thing about what they put on the shelves. read more
